La Brasseria Milanese
Breakfast and lunch are influenced by French culinary and stylistic heritage whereas the dinner menu and dining room offer the best of Italian culture and class.
The wine list is as thought through as the food menu and La Brasseria hosts London’s only Italian specialised sommelier helping you pair reasonable and unknown wines with your home cooked food.
Fried squid with home-made tartare sauce
Pizza al Tartufo Nero (No Tomato Bases)
Mozzarella, fresh black truffle
Risotto alla Milanese
Saffron risotto from the heart of Milano
Great Risotto Milanese!
La Brasseria Milanese deserves full stars plus one, with their outstanding service and amazing dishes they are for me not just the best Italian restaurant in London, also a place where I feel cuddled, where I feel home.
Thank you to the whole team, not excluding anyone.
Main course of lobster and linguine was tasteless, small and hence way overpriced.
After reading the reviews of this restaurant I was 2nd guessing my choice but I can safely say we had an amazing time. I had the carbonara and my friend had the asparagus, prawn pasta, both of which were utterly delicious. I could have had seconds it was so yummy. We also had the courgette fries which were crunchy and so moorish. The lovely waitress was friendly and couldn’t have been more professional. Overall a fantastic experience and I will be returning. Please visit esp as restaurants are really struggling at the moment and this place is a gem.
Delicious food. Scallops were amazing. We also had the calamari, pizza and cheesecake. All great.
Super service, friendly waiting staff and great food!
Excellent as always, good food, good service and overall very pleasant
Really nice brunch
It is hard to stand out in an area full of restaurants, but they are friendly , serve clean interesting food with fresh ingredients, have great service at a reasonable price, and plenty of outdoor space. They are an asset to Marylebone Village
we were well distanced and the staff were helpful. we ordered off menu and had excellent spaghetti arrabiata, tiramisu and calamari were delicious too!
Service was great, food great, just a little pricey.
Usual excellent food and they manage the COVID needs well making it a almost normal night out
Great buzzy atmosphere. Very helpful service. Food delicious. Lots of outside seating
The overall experience was great. The only downside was that there were no covid measures in place, the staff didn't wear masks and the tables set up didn't respect any type of distancing.
A great place to go but perhaps not so during a pandemic.
I come to this restaurant almost every weekend. One of my favourite places in London and definitely the best when it come to Italian food. Amazing atmosphere, super nice staff, just the best food. I can only recommend. Especially on a sunny day when you can sit on the terrace.
The only thing was the restaurant is not doing much to be careful about the Covid situation, no employees wore masks, people were sitted suoer closely together.
One of the best restaurants in Central London. Great space, amazing team and consistently delicious food.
it is located in a great area of London! Marylebone.. food was very good! Italian! waiter was very kind and went back and forth to ask chef about some food allergies ( we had few people in a group with health issues ) ... it’s great for bigger parties or groups of people!
I absolutely LOVE this place. Its authentic food and wine is a delight. I've been going for the last few years and in my opinion, there is no competition to it's food, ambience, staff and cocktails.
The Food is amazing both restaurant and pizza!!
The staff is very nice and friendly
Love this Italian - it’s our favourite in London. Great staff, great food and great atmosphere, we come about once a month without fail!
Always a great experience at La Brasseria. The staff is top-rate and friendly and the food well-priced and consistently good.
Really disappointing meal out here. 6 of us in a subterranean booth, almost in the dark, no additional light sources and a point9 font menu is already a bad start..... once we’d deciphered the menu, using phone torches,
attention from staff poor, no help pouring wine or water, service slow to the point of asking for the bread twice - guys - it’s the bread basket - how can you be so slow with this?
The tomato and red onion salad was a joke - one small tomato and a sprinkling of red onion slices plonked on a plate and chilled, with no dressing or seasoning is NOT a salad and certainly not worth £4.50. The pizza featuring burrata - I love burratta but am sure there should not have been ice crystals within.
Effectively we’d have had a much better, warmer, brighter and less expensive meal, with far better service at Pizza Express.
What a shame.
I’ve been many times now and usually enjoy a lot
Always recommend La Brasseria to friends. The visit last night was as good but not the usual standard. A few of had pizzas which were nothing special or like I have had in the past. The pizzas were just kind of flat and over cooked.
Very nice food, service and ambience. Could do with some more vegan options on the menu.
The staff were so helpful and made you feel tight at home. Made it a great dining experience.
I love calves liver! This is my go to place in Marylebone. It never disappoints! Great selection of bread too! Oh and my husband had the pork belly! He was very happy !
The waiters were terrible. Extremely slow and when I asked for the menu they only gave the specials menu so I had to ask 3 times for the normal menu and no-one was coming to take orders for ages. It was a real mess in terms of service. For that main reason I wouldn't recommend it.
We went here to celebrate a family birthday and everything was incredible - the food, the service, ambience and the warmth of the people - made it a memorable experience.
Nice little traditional Italian. I was there on own after work on a Monday and it was busy with a nice buzz but friendly attentive service. The food was good rather than outstanding but I would return again.
The basement part of the restaurant is rather without character. The food was satisfactory, but the total bill is high for what is offered.
Very good food, good variety and great quality. Service was fab- friendly staff. Lunch with friends and was perfect vibe!
First visit and it’s one of my nearest Restuarants. Food was a reasonable standard for price. Service slow. Setting has building work in MHS. Would come back for 2nd visit to see if any improvement :)
Great food, great wine, great service!
Spectacular as always
What a phenomenal place - one of my favorites in Marylebone. The ambiente, the service, the food, everything is excellent. I already look very much forward to next time.
There was a 99p charity charged at the end which i asked to be removed from the bill. There was no quibble over it but I still think it was inappropriate. The charge did not adequately explain where the money would go and how it would help change the world‘s climate. I’m sure most people just pay it and there is a kickback to the restaurant for getting the donation in.
What ever the mechanic, it should be removed. It detracts from the excellent food and hospitality. Not everyone likes the debate about climate change and an increasing amount of people are cynical about the charity industry.
When charity is taken for granted, it’s no longer charity.
Lovely staff ,good food and dog friendly too
I’ve been many times over the last years. Discovered it when it was Getti and now love La Brasseria Nilanese. Consistently great food and service. Started with the focaccia and burrata Salad. For main the chicken Parm and seafood pasta. Love it.
Staff initially not v friendly or helpful but once our table sorted made us feel at home!
