La Cote D'Or
Wonderful! Keep it up and doing the same fabulous job! :)
A 50th anniversary family celebration. We set up an early reservation, were seated promptly, and received outstanding service throughout the three courses of the meal. Escargot, French onion soup and roasted goat cheese salad were especially nice appetizers. The rack of lamb as main course was cooked exactly to the preference of each diner, the mussels, as always, were delicious, as were the sautéed sea scallops. Desserts were very good, as was the wine list. As aperitif, the raspberry Kir chambord was elegant and delicious. We were very happy we chose La Côte d'Or.
My friends and I at there often. It's easy to park, the food s god, the noise level tolerable. We often celebrate each other's birthays there amd I hope we will continue to do so.
The Sunday brunch was superb - everything about it and especially the quality of the food.
We have been going to La Cote D'or for years, and now more than ever before it offers great quality
for very reasonable prices. Quiet for good conversation and enjoyable. Highly recommend it.
It's a quaint restaurant, the servers are great and attentive. The food was okay - it was fresh but the taste was just 'eh'. It was a nice time/dinner.
La Cote D’Or never disappoints. The food is served beautifully and is always delicious. Love the three tier menu options (appetizer, entree and dessert)—one for $38 and one for $48. The “new chef-owner” has done a great job of keeping some of the old favorites on the menu and introducing some new exciting dishes. I so appreciate that he has kept the raspberries and caramel dessert. It’s my favorite and is always served with the most beautiful raspberries. I love this place!
Great service and even better food.
We always enjoy the food here. Lunch or dinner it is always excellent.
Birthday get together with a friend. Everything was perfect
Excellent service, food, ambiance including low noise level. Fantastic value for excellence in all phases of dining enjoyment. Definitely recommend!
Classic French food and ambiance. Escargots and the onion soup were very good. Rack of lamb and rib eye hit the spot and the profiteroles were awesome. Service was excellent. Wine list very approachable and reasonable. Always enjoy coming here when visiting family nearby. Lots of dining options in the area but if a relaxed classic French Café experience is what you’re looking for, this is the place.
Excellent, charming little nook of a place. Excellent food, service, ambiance.
Lovely restaurant with terrific French food. The salads are especially wonderful (where do they get buttery Boston lettuce year-round?) and the crepes, omelettes, fish, bread and creme caramel are all stand-outs.
Great food, service. Perfect Sunday night setting for getting together with an old friend
Great flavor~Have never been disappointed. Patrons become regulars.
The personal attention is so nice! Not a chain restaurant at all!
The food is excellent and always a special treat to go to La Cote D'Or
We love quiche Lorraine but this chef doesn't make it according to recipes. Has he ever looked at a recipe to see that NO ham is included . . . it is ALL bacon!!!
There was no expirience.
We were there at 21:05.
The place was closed.
Wonderful evening with friends. The service was excellent and every meal delicious! The special soups were a wonderful surprise. Perfect place for a special night out!
We are becoming regulars for Chef Jacques' Annual Peach Dinner, it is amazing! Apple dinner coming up.
We attended the special Peach Night dinner, and every dish was unique and delicious! The food here is great and the chef is very creative. We're looking forward to Apple Night!
Enjoyable dinner in the "sun room". Service was very attentive.
La Cote d'Or is a beautiful little French restaurant -- a real jewell. Our dinners were delicious and the presetation of all plates was quite nice.
Very nice little French restaurant. Great food and a well thought out menu for restaurant week. Lovely date location but also saw people in street clothes. The ambiance is a bit more refined. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend if you’re looking for very good French food.
Nice old-school French restaurant with all the classics made right. Affordable wine list was a plus.
We used to go to Chef Jacque's restaurant in Great Falls and were thrilled to find him again! The food is amazing - the portions are large and the prices are fair. Can't wait for the Peach Dinner!
Food was mediocre.
We went for brunch during Restaurant Week. For the price, the value and quality of the food was very good. Service was excellent.
As always, La Côte d’Or offers delicious French cuisine in a cozy atmosphere with outstanding service. We enjoyed a Restaurant Week three-course weekend brunch for $22 per person. All of us were pleased with our choices! Since we were celebrating two birthdays, they put a candle on each dessert and sang Happy Birthday to us. We look forward to returning.
I love this place. It's such a charming small french restaurant. The food is always excellent. And they have a weekly menu special, which makes it fairly affordable for french food too.
Great service, delicious food.
La Cote D'Or resembles a neighborhood restaurant one would find in France. Attentive service , beautifully presented plates, and a noise level that one can hear their dining companion! I like the addition of garnishes as they are always a little extra taste treat with the accompanying food.
No children’s menu. Even for restaurant week it was $250 and nothing was overly memorable. They did make crepes for us for dessert tho which was very nice.
It was fantastic
Restaurant week dinner and kitchen apparently overwhelmed. Waited over an hour for entrees to come out and consequently over cooked Fish was dry
Hood friends meeting at a place that has good food, wonderful service, relaxed ambiance. It is delightful
La Cote D'Or is a small, charming french restaurant that serves delicious french cuisine.
Martini good and generous. Dinner very good. Liked the simi-fixed menu. Service somewhat slow, but then again it was a Sat. evening seating and a full house. Coq au vin could use a better cut of chicken. Difficult to work around a small leg bone with grace at the dinner table. Sauce tasty but a little thin. Maybe a little more reduction. Table bread and butter excellent. Desserts outstanding. Yes, I would go back.
We've passed by this restaurant a million times but never ventured inside. It was lovely! We went for brunch. When we arrived a bit after noon on a Saturday, it was empty. By the time we left around 1:30, it was starting to fill up. Although others have complained about the service, we found it to be excellent. We thought the inclusion of small touches, such as fruit cups to accompany our meals, was really nice. The service wasn't overbearing but they were attentive and responsive. Our party had a burger, quiche, and french toast, all of which were great. The french toast was the most distinctive and came with fruit puree and fresh berries on top. The prices were very reasonable. All in all, a really great experience. This restaurant deserves to be busier than it is!
We have eaten here multiple times and have always enjoyed our dinners. The food is consistently quite good, both in quality and quantity.
