Outstanding, creative cuisine - great service, great wine - perfect!
Shockingly poor for what is meant to be a Michelin starred restaurant.
A hotel bar come restaurant chancing it as a place to go for a tasting menu.
The staff tried to sneak an additional charge onto the bill. - watch out for the truffle charge on a menu without truffle...
(I’ve been to 20+ starred restaurants this year, this is the worst, so far)
Took the menu, 2 dishes were not explained.
They pushed up the price a lot and please dont get their white truffle.
(Before getting it, I told them that I will recognise fake from real truffle, they said ours are real, it turns out not true)
Having dined at numerous Michelin starred establishments this has to be by far the worst - on all three key areas; food, service, ambience. Both our main dishes came out lukewarm and the quail dish I had was greatly over done even though I specifically requested it be served pink.
The starters we had were under seasoned and during our dinner the waiters on a couple of occasions were trying to sell us shavings of truffle even though we had politely declined at the start of the meal.
The service was disorganised and chaotic with numerous waiters attending to us throughout the course of our meal. With the restaurant being quiet the waiters could be seen and heard talking amongst themselves, often quite loudly next to our dinner table.
The advertised menu on the actual restaurant website also transpired not to be entirely accurate as I was particular looking forward to having the Il Flotante for dessert but that wasn’t available.
Good but not great given the price.
Food was pleasant but not particularly innovative, and waiting felt a little overbearing at times.
These aren't major issues but for nearly £150pp (a la carte) with an inexpensive bottle of wine (on a pretty unforgivingly priced wine list), much better value for money can be found in London.
I've been to this restaurant several times now and the food is always excellent. The staff are always courteous and helpful. A real treat for special occasions and celebrations.
It was our anniversary. The food was amazing. Anne-Sophie herself was really nice to all guests and checked on us quite a few times. Will definitely come back.
Lunch was delicious and filling. Plating was very pretty. Exceeded expectations.
Great food and wine.
Pasta parcels are devine.
Dessert also top drawer.
Definitely one of the best restaurants in London. Wine list is probably somewhat short, but the food is devine
Food was amazing the timing, textures and flavours were pioneering for us as chefs ourselves it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time
The chef has a great team
Had the most gorgeous a la carte neal here. What made it extra special was the lovely service- very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice additional touches such as the amuse bouche and hors d’ouevres which we’re influenced by the original maritime nature of the building.
Excellent food, friendly efficient service. We tried the 3 course menu. The food was inventive, and uniformly excellent. The overall quantity was just right. We didn't feel stuffed at all. The service was efficient, and there was an underlying friendly vibe that really helped the dining experience. The only downside to our time there was the noisy people at the neighbouring table. It was not really the fault of the restaurant. Although, we could have been sat at a table further away, and there were several available.
LDP is an amazing restaurant which found a perfect balance between high standards and warm hospithality
We had the 6 course tasting set for dinner with the wine pairing. Food was excellent and well executed. Both the mains - Cornish Wild Turbot and Organic Welsh Lamb was the highlight of dinner.
Service could be much improved - 1) our napkin dropped, a man took it, and he never came back till we asked for another napkin 2) Somewhere between 2335hrs - 2345hrs our last dessert were still not served, we were one of two tables remaining but we could see from the staffs facial expression that they missed out our table by mistake. But the lady sommelier (french maybe, with short hair) was very professional and delightful throughout our dinner.
We found the Four Seasons last year when staying locally and loved the elegance of the Rotunda Bar, and picked up a menu while we were there. The tasting menu at La Dame de Pic looked great, and as a treat we decided to come back later in the year.
This Saturday we arrived early for cocktails and then went through to the restaurant. Elegant and welcoming at the same time, we were shown to our table and were presented with the first of five amuse bouche, before going on to the six course tasting menu. We were there for over three hours but the time flew past, one gastronomic treat after the after, served by friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable staff.
Fantastic food, beautifully and artistically served.
Had a very good time: very good food in a beautiful ambient.
We went there for our anniversary and is definitely been a great way to celebrate it
Suggest it to everyone who wants to enjoy a high level meal
Our 2nd visit and the food was once again absolutely outstanding. Beautiful venue, friendly staff (although our service was a tad slow this time), relaxed atomosphere. We will definitely go back.
Indifferent service and ignored any requests. Lamb over cooked and chef never inquired. Not recommended.
We were celebrating our anniversary last Saturday. The food was excellent, we had the tasting menu, service very good, nice and friendly staff. They brought us a special cake saying Happy anniversary which was very nice of them.
I would highly recommend and happy we celebrated our anniversary at La Dame Du Pic and will go back again.
Overall I had a highly satisfactory experience at la dame. The beautiful four seasons hotel plays host to this restaurant and I enjoyed the meal very much.
Brilliant wine pairings were personally selected on request for each course.
The food quality was exceptional.
The service was considered, appropriate and relaxed.
To add one criticism the mains were served tepid to cold. Plates were not warmed unusually. Sort this out and the whole Expérience across all areas would be 5/5
The wine list is so remarkably good they could serve only bread and water and STILL be worth it. The fact it also happens to offer Michelin Star food is, ohhhhhh, a lovely added value. Wink wink.
I liked the decor. I had the lunch menu and was extremely pleased with the options . The staff were wonderful and the wine was good. This will go on my list of favourite places to dine.
Excellent food and good manner of service.
We went for lunch for our anniversary with three children.
Good atmosphere and service with very pleasant dishes.
Outstanding food as usual! We will come back with ours families and friends fir sure.
Had a faultless meal at La Dame De Pic - thoroughly recommend it for a special occasion meal
Amazing food and great service. Hidden gem right next to Tower of London. Hard to find anything like that!
Parfait !
Excellent from start to finish, perfect service that you don't even have to think about everything is there when you want it and no one is hovering around you when you don't need them. The food is quite delicious, beautifully crafted, every mouthful a taste sensation and no wonder they have 3 michelin stars. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.
Great food that is not too heavy served well with lots of flavours
A very special dining experience with an excellent gourmet menu. The service was excellent and the venue is spectacular!
excellent on all counts! a firm favourite ❤️ service par excellence. the all white mille feuille is my personal favourite
The food was absolutely amazing and the service excellent. A cool quiet oasis in a sweltering London. Business lunch for 6 and everybody was bowled over. Definitely will go back again and impress some more clients.
We spend a lovely evening , prices to be reduced , we may come back occasionaly, cooking outstanding .
Our regards to Mrs Pic
Absolutely amazing service and food. Everything was incredible. This is our 3rd time to this restaurant and we will keep coming back again and again!
Fantastic!! Went there for lunch and it was really amazing. Delicious food and very good service. Prices were more than fair.
Beautiful experience, attentive service and knowledgeable and lovely sommelier!
I discovered this fabulous gem last year whilst visiting London and I have taken friends and family 4 times since then. The food was so divine we were asking the staff ‘where is your Michelin star!!?” And of course the next time I took my family in a December they had already got their first star! No surprises there! The food is to die for and we take the Tasting menu every time to taste whatever possible in one go! Every dish is presented as if it’s a painting, and tastes awesome. We did the pairing last week and loved it! The service is beyond par and we love Nicholas and Alexander who always look after us!
Please DO NOT MISS THIS EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!
Exquisite... the flavours, colours and execution. It was certainly a meal to remember, one where we felt it necessary to ask questions and find out more, despite the highly informed staff explaining the individual dishes. We had a pescatarian version of the 5 course Tasting Menu with suggested wines and it was a sheer delight. The combinations of ingredients left our taste buds dancing. The restaurant interior was rather cavernous and needed to be softer, more intimate and exciting, like the food. Would love to return...
