I went there as a special occasion and 8t truly lived up to my expectations. Fabulous food and wine. Really like that some of the more famous dishes from the Valence restaurant were on the menu.
Fantastic. Enjoyed a really very nice family lunch here. Food superb, service excellent, all in all a very enjoyable experience.
Food of the highest standard, excellent service and comfortable surroundings
Brilliant place, amazing food, and well priced wine list. Thank you.
Went for my mothers bday and she absolutely loved it. The staff are exceptional switching from French to English flawlessly which kept her entertained while we waited for three courses of refined and elegant food. The restaurant itself a nice size with a stunning interior. It is safe to say I will be returning to La Dame De Pic
Amazing food and staff made for a memorable end to our stay in London, especially the tiramisu
Simply stunning. Superb food and great service . Highly recommended
Compared to other Michelin star restaurants in London, Dame de Pic comes out on top. Every dish contained unusual flavors that somehow blended particularly well. Excllent value for money
Despite telling every waiter who served us drinks in the bar that we were eating in the main restaurant we were presented with menus and ordered to be told that we had to eat that where we were, it could not be served in the main restaurant. We then had to re-order to staff who grumbled that food was being wasted. The staff need to be trained that when a mistake is made, the customer should not be embarrassed as he may have (and in this case did have) important clients he was seeking to impress. Any user needs to be aware of this 2 menu issue.
Second time that I have had the pleasure to eat here. Not only is the food delicious but it is equally beautiful in its presentation. The staff are very attentive. The sommelier is fantastic. This is easily my favorite restaurant in London if not the world!
Utterly stunning meal, flawless from start to finish. The turbot and scallop dishes were a huge highlight, delicious, tasty, well balanced and so beautiful to look at.
I like their hospitality and service, ambience but some people might find it quite casual for price especially for dinner. (Or maybe just because hotel residents were very casual then?)
Most of the staffs are very nice, kind and polite but still friendly, I enjoyed having a conversation with them during dinner but someone looks like a floor manager wasn’t the best.
We tried a tasting menu from around 20:00 and finished at 23:30ish.
The timing of serving wine and dishes was fine but we waited a little bit to get a menu, order and also for the bill and payment although it wasn’t busy at all then.
We were worried about their closing time as we were one of last customers and apologised for staying until late but actually it wasn’t our fault.
He didn’t really even answer that (might be just because of his language problem though) or no warm word to us when we left there.
I do understand everyone must be tired around midnight on Friday but it would have been nicer if he had said to us “thank you, see you, good night” with smile.
Anyway I think I’ll be back there sometime soon as I live and work around.
But probably for lunch next time :)
By the way, Shiso is edible and tastes really good as a refreshment.
The Shiso that you served was very fresh and big like decent ones which we Japanese are normally familiar with in Japan but can’t easily get proper authentic ones like it here in London (not good quality even from Japanese supermarkets) although I always seek for.
Please don’t say “Don’t eat” when you explain the dish!
Hope you’ll use the good quality Shiso not just a garnish.
That’s one of my favourite Japanese herbs!!!
My experience was perfect. The staff and presentation was world class.
What a lovely birthday lunch at La Dame de Pic. Exquisite, elegant, imaginative but completely approachable. The strawberry baba dessert with its beautiful presentation and intensity of flavours was a perfect ending to a perfect meal. The service was informative, efficient and friendly from start to finish.
Exceeded my expectation. Very elegant, delicate and the food was absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a sophisticated, elegant, tasteful place this is the place to be. Delightful thank you !!!
This was a wonderful meal in every way from start to finish - the food was exquisite with carefully sourced ingredients beautiful plating, incredible service and with a wine list to match the food the restaurant exceeded all expectations
Beautiful surroundings, and pleasant service especially from Maria, Martina and Maître d' (sorry forgot his name). Even though the food was beautifully presented, the portion sizes were tiny for the price (£42 pp for 3 courses before wines - the main course of suckling pig was only three pieces of Iberico pork, each measuring 5cm by 1.5cm thickness, with no accompaniments you would expect such as potato dauphinoise. You should not be still hungry after an outlay of over £70pp.) Also, the tiramisu version was too heavy on the cream and raspberry and not enough of the coffee and chocolate. We were expecting a better overall experience, as we have dined in other Michelin starred restaurants around the world.
Plus points: Pleasant attentive service, surroundings, design, artwork, fabulous wines, beautifully presented food, fantastic sourdough bread, efficient reservations service, USP.
Negatives/ Areas for improvement: Portion sizes & ensure complete plates of food, Value for money, redesign of some of the recipes to be more balanced but keeping the LDdPicLondon unique take/ USP on a dish.
Lunch to celebrate my granddaughters 18th birthday. The service was impeccable; the food was amazing; an additional and beautifully decorated dessert complete with candle for my granddaughter. We had a wonderful time
Exceptional, would make the late Paul Bocuse envy & proud.
The food was outstanding, but everything else just failed to deliver. It was more expensive that other Michelin Star lunches we’ve enjoyed and -regrettably - I’d have to say that this was our most disappointing experience at this level.
Upon arrival at The Four Seasons Hotel, the Doorman behaved more like a Nightclub Bouncer, which didn’t get things off to the best of starts. Abrupt not rude. I think there may have been a Wedding in progress, but...
The Amuse Bouche consisted of a beetroot crisp... if that’s the best you can offer, don’t bother!
The service, at this level and cost, was off par. Not once do I recall them asking during the courses if everything was to our satisfaction. Also, When I asked for a second drink, I ordered something different, but got another of my first drink. Whether this was not listening or miscommunication, I don’t know. But they really should be getting these things “right first time” at this level. Overall, there was a general lack of attention.
The dining room itself is okay, but nothing special.
Considering Maison Pic has three stars, I really expected better than that. The inconvenient truth is that there are a great many other options in London that offer Michelin Star cooking with better service, in a more pleasant environment... and more reasonably priced.
We were considering it for our Wedding Anniversary, until I found out it’s closed during August. I take no pleasure from saying this... but I think we dodged a bullet there!
Amazing Vegetarian food. Very good presentation and service.
Great food at a great price and in a great location. When you arrive at the restaurant, you become immediately aware that your are going to be in for an unforgettable dining experience. The food was simply divine and we were very well looked after by the service team. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for good contemporary French cuisine.
Looked after very well with care and attention delivered through the service and course what is there not to like about the food
The food is stunning , service great , it’s expensive but you get what you pay for
Amazing food and exceptional service in a beautiful location- what’s not to like?
Perfect Balanced Dishes
A fantastic first visit to La Dame de Pic and definitely not the last. Fabulous setting in the Four Seasons Hotel with a cool, contemporary and stylishly casual vibe in the restaurant. Exceptional service, professional but not fussy, engaging and connected vibe. Food was amazing and well worthy of at least 1 Michelin Star. Tasting menu was varied, interesting, exceptionally well cooked and presented. A great find.
A beautiful and peaceful restaurant. Food and service outstanding. We had to leave in a hurry as we had a theatre performance to go to and we hadn’t realised the time. Staff were very efficient in getting the bill for us. Highly recommend, we will be returning.
The attention to detail is formidable, probably appreciated more by wife who is a skilled cook and knows what is going on, me? I just know there is something good and delicious going on, especially with a very good value wine flight. Staff very attentive and responsive. Very good value for the skill involved. Look forward to returning for the summer menu sometime later this year.
2nd time there. Same lunch menu but went for different options. Still love it.
I came for lunch during a hectic business trip and enjoyed one hour of amazing food, very friendly service and when I told the hostess of my time limit the service was quick and very effective.
Needless to say food was amazing
Thé food is excellent and the staff lovely. We had a wonderful dinner.
Awesome. Friendly staff. Loved it.
Very good experience at la dame de pic. Food was outstanding, a overall amazing fine dining experience in London
Tasting menu was interesting - some fantastic dishes but a couple were a little too unusual for our palates
Delicious, exquisitely presented, delicate food. We were left wondering how can so much flavour be packed into food this delicate!! An absolute stunner!!! Stars of the show were the "Poached Burford brown egg with pancetta, fresh peas and onions cooked in beer and woodruff infused sauce" and the "White Millefeuille"
Would definitely visit again and also make a special trip to Valence to dine at Maison Pic.
Some nit-picking points -
- On arrival were found ourselves waiting at the entrance for quite a while with no sign of the maître d.
- One of the courses we had, could definitely use refinement on presentation as it does not do any justice to the flavour packed into it. This was the Acquarello Risotto. Absolutely loved the risotto but felt a bit disappointed with the presentation as it was nothing close to the rest of the meal.
Service was outstanding. Food was marvelous, it was absolutely delicious.
We have been honored to have the opportunity to enter the chef kitchen and meet the chef. Everything made this moment unforgettable.
The food was exceptional without question, service was professional but far too slow.
The BEST LAMB I have EVER had! Anne-Sophie Pic, thank you for your personal touch 🙏
Exceptional cooking and presentation even at this level. The food was delicious, presentation cannot be topped.
