Welcome to La Follia Caffè, our small slice of Italy. Beautiful, seasonal ingredients and the best coffee - nestled at the foot of the rolling South Downs, amongst the mix-century world of antique and vintage shop, Lamb & Newt.
Our Cicchetti (small plates) are as big in flavour as they are small. Our hand made focaccia is sublime and the base for all our Sarnis and Toasties. If you come in time for breakfast the La Follia Brillante Breakfast Roll and freshly baked Cornetti will win your hearts.
All our food is made by us, with all the love you'd expect. Literally every piece in the cafe has had a previous life and if it's not tethered or human, is for sale. A take away might be a little more than you expected.

food ok but very long wait between courses and very expensive at £75 per head plus drinks. Shame as a lovely little cafe space.

Dear Judith, we are so sad you were disappointed. If you’d let us know on the night or by email we could have helped. As a small cafe you can imagine the damage a review like this can do. As I replied to your husband’s Google review, we put our all into La Follia, especially our pop-ups which are meant to be a treat. To address your comments. For our Cena Pop-ups, the price of £75ph is included in the booking info for the evening, so whilst it’s high end, the choice is yours. These are 4 courses of the best ingredients. Everything is made or cooked by us. With staff and prep, it's the best value we can make it. We start serving the 1st course at around 7.30pm, pudding at around 9.30pm so people can eat and chat. It's hard to get right for all. Thank you for taking the time to read this. LF

Excellent find! Recommended by a foodie friend and was delighted with the delicious casual food for lunch made up of beautifully fresh ingredients e.g The best buffalo mozzarella with asparagus and balsamic and scrumptious crostini and gelato. Just like being in Italy! One not to miss!
