Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, we were delighted to be able to go out and enjoy “al fresco dining”. Having also enjoyed many occasions at Petersham Nurseries for dinner, we were excited to try out La Goccia. Overall the experience was great. My one small complaint would be the fried baby squid were a little cold when served and unremarkable. By contrast, the garlic risotto, the beef tartare and spaghetti with asparagus were all delicious.

Good service and atmosphere. Staff was also helpful over the phone.

One of my favourite restaurants in Covent Garden.
My only constructive feedback is that front of house could be more friendly and welcoming. It would be great to have some walk in options, as a local it would be nice to get a table for a quick meal and glass of wine.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at La Goccia - the food was delicious and I would happily return.

It was a good experience, the only downside was, we have to wait for 30 mins before we could be seated. Our booking was 3:45 and we had our table available at 4:15. No updates received from the person in the front desk, I have to follow-up what’s the delay.

Excellent ambience outdoors and attentive service without being fussy . The courtyard setting has artmosphere but without the busy footfall on soem of teh restarants on the main streets I chose a Rose which was good value and perfect for the sunny lunchtime. Selection of different courses chosen provided a good variety. This was our second visit and we will be going back .

Beautiful courtyard, very friendly and attentive service. Tasty and string cocktails. Some mains variable but dessert was too notch. I’ll be back!

I would definitely recommend La Goccia. The staff are so professional and friendly. The food is excellent and the location is perfect.

Amazing food and location in the center of London! Service and Constantinos the Restaurant manager were very friendly and always next to us whenever we needed something. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful food and ambience but the service was very very slow.

We were so pleased to get a table for a long outstanding lunch between mother and daughter after lockdown. the courtyard felt lovely, gentle, warm, conducive to having a good talk. The food selection and taste were as good as we could expect with the gorgeous organic ingredients of Petersham.

Our First visit, and last... suppose to be an Italian tapas... , portion sizes are small but each is expensive.

nice location, but you will need to order a few dishes to come away felling you had a meal.

Our bill was high for what we received, service slow.

Better places to go for value for money

Very good, although I did have to ask where one of the dishes had got to and I don’t know if this was because we were sat outside or if it had been sitting in the kitchen waiting to be brought out but one of the dishes went very cold very quickly but I enjoyed everything we ordered and would try it again when we can sit inside restaurants.

We loved La Goccia.
The outside space is absolutely beautiful with tables under a canopy which lets the sun stream in. It was our first post lockdown lunch and we were slightly worried when it snowed in the morning but still determined to go. The staff were lovely and provided blankets and heaters and when the sun came out we even took off our coats.

Food wise, excellent. We had a selection of fritto dishes which were all brilliant but our favourite was fried sage leaves with anchovies, just brilliant. Fried chicken also amazing, burrata brilliant, a pea pasta dish excellent, full of mint.

I don't think it was just that it was our first meal out in a long time; I really do think it's a lovely restaurant, with lovely staff and and lovely courtyard. We finished with pea and mint martinis. Spring in a glass!

I always love being at La Goccia during Christmas especially. Its cozy and warm and the staff are just lovely! The feeling you get that you've stepped into a tropical lush setting is just unmatched by any other restaurant in London.

A great place for lunch. Excellent choice of Italian tapas and very seasonal and fresh. Perfect for a ladies lunch! The atmosphere was great and staff fantastic. Thank you for another superb meal La Goccia!

The quality of food is impressive. One of the best restaurants in London. A bit too expensive for the small size of the dishes

La Goccia has a lovely outside space (in these Covid times!) with lights and patio heaters, and they handed out blankets too. Great food as usual, lots of little Italian platters to share, delicious. Our leeks were very overcooked, but they replaced them with no issue.

Fabulous early supper with my daughter. Wines are expensive, hence the four stars on value, two rosé wines either £39 or £70. Food and service overall fabulous! A hidden gem. We will return

La Goccia is a firm favourite - always a fantastic experience. Incredible food, excellent and friendly team and a beautiful environment. We go often and would definitely recommend.

Good service throughout. A lovely setting for the festive period as we were sitting outside. Although could do with a few more outdoor heaters.
The food was just ok overall. The squid was good but my chicken was dry and the fennel salad was tasteless which is a shame because considering the price point.

A great menu and food. Very pretty Christmassy surroundings. Our only frustration was the slowness of paying made us late for the theatre!

We had previously visited in the summer and rebooked to go back whilst visiting London for our Christmas shopping trip. As before it was a lovely experience and the food was delicious. We were served by Michael who was most helpful and attentive...we will definitely be back

Warm welcome, fantastic service, very attentive, not overbearing. Great vibe, bustling with life but not noisy. The food is delicious - the tagliatelle and the chicken al burro were so good - recommend. The only thing is that I felt the chairs were quite high up for the tables but I had such a good time. Would definitely go back!

A really delicious and enjoyable lunch - we were warmly welcomed and looked after and felt completely safe thanks to the spacious layout of tables.

Very nice food and cocktails. Very small portions for the price. The space is amazing in the middle room but wasn’t where I was seated. The little shop where I was seated was cold, not comfortable and end up with no social distancing between tables was I had to lay on one costumer food to go toilet literally. By the times we leave I think staff in the kitchen should wear mask, even for the example to give to other people.

Such a lovely treat after coming out of lockdown. Absolutely delicious food and cocktails. Will definitely be back!
