I always love being at La Goccia during Christmas especially. Its cozy and warm and the staff are just lovely! The feeling you get that you've stepped into a tropical lush setting is just unmatched by any other restaurant in London.
Bday bash!! Delicious food, nice place I would like to come back again!!!
A great place for lunch. Excellent choice of Italian tapas and very seasonal and fresh. Perfect for a ladies lunch! The atmosphere was great and staff fantastic. Thank you for another superb meal La Goccia!
The quality of food is impressive. One of the best restaurants in London. A bit too expensive for the small size of the dishes
La Goccia has a lovely outside space (in these Covid times!) with lights and patio heaters, and they handed out blankets too. Great food as usual, lots of little Italian platters to share, delicious. Our leeks were very overcooked, but they replaced them with no issue.
Fabulous early supper with my daughter. Wines are expensive, hence the four stars on value, two rosé wines either £39 or £70. Food and service overall fabulous! A hidden gem. We will return
La Goccia is a firm favourite - always a fantastic experience. Incredible food, excellent and friendly team and a beautiful environment. We go often and would definitely recommend.
Incredible food ! Great service and lovely ambience
Good service throughout. A lovely setting for the festive period as we were sitting outside. Although could do with a few more outdoor heaters.
The food was just ok overall. The squid was good but my chicken was dry and the fennel salad was tasteless which is a shame because considering the price point.
A great menu and food. Very pretty Christmassy surroundings. Our only frustration was the slowness of paying made us late for the theatre!
Delicious food and lovely staff. Would definitely go back.
We had previously visited in the summer and rebooked to go back whilst visiting London for our Christmas shopping trip. As before it was a lovely experience and the food was delicious. We were served by Michael who was most helpful and attentive...we will definitely be back
Fabulous amazing food! Each dish was wonderful. Aristotle was a great waiter. Wonderful experience
Warm welcome, fantastic service, very attentive, not overbearing. Great vibe, bustling with life but not noisy. The food is delicious - the tagliatelle and the chicken al burro were so good - recommend. The only thing is that I felt the chairs were quite high up for the tables but I had such a good time. Would definitely go back!
A really delicious and enjoyable lunch - we were warmly welcomed and looked after and felt completely safe thanks to the spacious layout of tables.
Seated outside but despite the cold it was another memorable meal.
Very good food, lots of vegetarian options. Would definitely recommend !
Very nice food and cocktails. Very small portions for the price. The space is amazing in the middle room but wasn’t where I was seated. The little shop where I was seated was cold, not comfortable and end up with no social distancing between tables was I had to lay on one costumer food to go toilet literally. By the times we leave I think staff in the kitchen should wear mask, even for the example to give to other people.
Such a lovely treat after coming out of lockdown. Absolutely delicious food and cocktails. Will definitely be back!
Lovely atmosphere. Helpful and welcoming staff. Amazing food.
We had a wonderful time! Everything was great! Food, service, wine! Thank you to the great waiters for being so thoughtful about my husband’s birthday!!
We will definitely be back!
Very good food and service
Lovely evening with my friends just before lockdown. Amazing food, great cocktails, attentive staff and excellent, relaxed atmosphere
Always a gorgeous environment and delicious food!
We were seated near the entrance of the restaurant, if I went again I'd probably ask to be in the center as we felt a little set back from the ambiance.
Staff were attentive, and brought a surprise birthday dessert to our table which was a lovely touch.
Food was good, but we weren't blown away.
Delicious food, very nice atmosphere, very pleasant interior. Overall good experience, but a bit expensive.
Really relaxing and fun atmosphere. Nice amount of bustle and people, lovely lighting and decor and plants everywhere and a more modern branch of petersham. Food was really tasty and varied and waiting team super friendly despite masks and keen to take photos and really good balance of attentiveness.
Lovely food. But forgot to bring out some of our food
Go-to spot for a great dinner in central London. Don't skip dessert!
The food was incredible, you have to try the squash risotto. Also the drinks were half price and were amazing too. However, we arrived at 5:30 (15 minutes before our booking was) and within 10 minutes of sitting there they said the kitchen was about to close and the bar was too. This wasn’t said on the website and we felt very rushed, only able to have one drink. So, it was a great, vibrant restaurant - which meant we wanted to stay longer but we were rushed out.
My favourite local restaurant. The food is consistently good. The bottomless brunch on a Sunday if great value.
Staff could be more friendly and warm to really enhance the experience.
Brilliant location, good food, but the service is so poor that it forfeits its potential. Disappointing.
Lovely ambience. Starters were great but the pasta dishes we got were all abit dry and bland.
always wonderful food and wonderful service. always!
Food was great . I love this restaurant anyway, I have been here many times . The only thing is , the people who work there should be more attentive .
Another fab meal in this beautiful courtyard restaurant. It proved to be great spot to meet our friends as it's outdoors. It was a cool evening but thankfully La Goccia's outdoor heaters proved more than adequate. The service was friendly, professional and obliging as it has been in the past (thanks again Johan!). The Tapas-styled food was, as in the past, vibrant and delicious and remains reasonably priced. The wine menu is somewhat limited but caters well to most tastes and budgets. We will be back again for sure!
I enjoyed the ethos of the restaurant. The food was excellent quality and well made.
The service was a little slow and it was incredibly hard to attract the attention of anyone. It took me over 10 mins to get anyone to talk to me about my reservation. That said, it didn't ruin my experience and I would recommend dining here.
The anchovy and sage is recommended. Delicious.
Atmosphere, food and staff were lovely but I just wonder whether service could have been better for the price. Several times we were searching for someone to either order more plates or refill our glasses. I can't remember the last time I poured our own wine from the chiller at any restaurant.
Overall a lovely experience but perhaps a little complacent on the night.
I was worried before turning up that we wouldn’t be able to have a table outside as we were two households, but our table was available to us. We were celebrate a double birthday, and ended up getting the bottomless brunch - which we didn’t realise was available on the menu. The food was lovely and the service was very friendly and staff were happy to top up our bubbly! We were never rushed or told that our bottomless had finished which most other places would do.
Such a lovely restaurant.
Great to eat outside. Staff so kind and friendly .
This is my third visit and I will be coming back .
