La Goccia's Sage and Anchovies
Wild Garlic Risotto
Excellent food and service. Very enjoyable lunch. We were made to feel most welcome. Happy to recommend.
Really enjoyed La Goccia for a friend’s birthday lunch. Another friend had surprised her with a bottle of Prosecco and they kept the secret well, and also provided her a cute ice cream dessert to celebrate. Food was delicious and service top notch.
Nice restaurant to go with family and friends. Helpful and cheerful staff with tasty food.
Very good food and vibe. A bit cold outside, best to book indoor in the winter. Excellent service
Food was extremely overpriced. Olives and bread were offered and charged for at a ridiculous price! A charge was added for a charity and this was not even asked about but just added. Service charge was over 13% and service was good.
Over rated really!
Delicious sharing plates. Fresh tasty food
Food was very good & we would return for this reason, especially as we now know what to expect.
We would have appreciated more advice on how large portions were, as we ended up ordering too much.
Staff were polite but not friendly.
We were overcharged- by 3 cocktails! - and while it was sorted there was not much apology.
Staff were too quick to clear the table, drinks not finished etc.
Delightful setting great food, small plates sharing great for tasting so many of the dishes
Lovely botanical environs, quality, seasonal ingredients cooked beautifully. Not formal, busy and lots of bustle.
What a delightful evening! Great food, friendly service, lovely atmosphere. ( and beautifully smelling loos!)
Lovely place tucked away from the crowds. Service was excellent with all staff attentive. We really enjoy having a variety of small plates hence the food selection was perfect for us. We chose six between two, with all food excellent quality and just the right amount of waiting time between each pair.
Food excellent and ambience nice but it could have been excellent. The attitude of the Front of House Manager was verging on aggressive and rude when we rejected an outside table, as we had booked an inside table. The table we eventually had was close to the door and it did get very cold during our visit and we would have been a lot happier in the main eating area. The waiting staff were friendly and knowledgeable and we selected several dishes . We would recomend the signature fried chicken with ailoi, the scallops and the monkfish. We loved the concept of the sharing plates and coccolini. The wine list was good and the Carafe option was an excellent midway solution. I have recommeded the restaurant as we loved the food and will return but it was a pity our first impression was marred by their Front of House staff.
Great service from our friendly & professional waiter, who had an in depth knowledge of the menus.
Tasty food & well presented.
Nice decor in the restaurant.
TERRIBLE food, TERRIBLE service. We were so disappointed.
Great location and space but the rest was almost a comedy it was so bad.
Go for a drink - avoid the food.
Really nice food and atmosphere great location would recommend this restaurant
Everyone was lovely and the food was great, I was just a bit disappointed that despite adding a message to my booking and speaking to a server at the restaurant, there wasn't anything special for my friend's 25th birthday, just a candle or something. Overall a great meal and evening though, thank you
We had a delicious early pre theatre supper. Good variety and very tasty sharing plates.
Waitress was helpful. Great you can buy the wine by the carafe.
Fun atmosphere. If you eat there ask to sit in the back as the door banging continuously can get a little irritating.
Italian small plates restaurant. Slightly underwhelmed, no ambience, food ordinary.
Winter eating outside is a real pleasure here in a courtyard protected from the wind (if not from whatever temperature it may be, beyond what outdoor heaters and blankets mitigate). Pick two or three plates each and you'll have a lovely selection of great produce beautifully and simply cooked to enjoy. We particularly liked the plentiful beetroot salad, and also the burrata and squash (made more tasty dressed with agrodolce). Fritto and pasta dishes warmed us, and a neighbour's chicken and potatoes looked tempting for next time.
Outside perfect- heaters kept us warm, nice and quiet but really lovely atmosphere
Love it in there. Some tables are a lot better appointed than others. Food and service were outstanding.
The food and service was extremely good and we had a very enjoyable, delicious lunch with very attentive staff.
Superb service and delicious food. Loved every minute
Thoroughly enjoyed, love the tapas style eating and makes for a much more social meal.
Fast efficient service. Tasty food but in my view not as good as some other cicchetti restaurants nearby. Cost was higher than expected - 2 starters, 5 sharing mains, 1 dessert, 2 glasses of wine, 2 (tiny glasses of) Limoncello - £136.00. Just one other note. Carrots were too al dente for us and we are used to Italian vegetables.
It was so amazing! A night wonderful an the food was so delicious
Great food. Really fresh and tasty. Lovely venue and great service. Will definitely go again.
The Hostess was and is very rude. We are regular clients because the food is fabulous but it leaves a very bad impression to be treated so rudely at the door. The first and last impression of a restaurant is the Hostess. Management should take a closer look.
We had a great evening. The food was lovely and the service was great. Would recommend and go again.
Loved everything from the food to the ambience to the service
Expensive for amount of food you get
A real surprise to find somewhere so close to Covent Garden that felt like it was far from the hustle and bustle. The food was superb; nice to have the different courses keep coming. Lots of options for vegetarians too.
Terrific meal and great cocktail list. Strongly recommend!
Great all the way. We chose to sit outdoors and the only discomfort was there was only one heater way down the other end which meant we were eating with our coats on.
Every time I go, I am never disappointed!
Excellent service, friendly and welcoming staff and incredibly delicious food!
Dishes are not big and I'd recommend around 4-5 for two people.
I've been there a few times anf will definitely go back.
My friend who's never been there before absolutely loved it.
Downside: at times can be a bit noisy inside and conversation might prove difficult but don't let that put you off
Good service and food but extremely overpriced
Very nice place, our server, Laura, was excellent. Could not recommend this place more, 10/10
Very fresh food, well presented, waiter had an exceptional knowledge of the menu and was extremely helpful as we had never eaten there before.
I love everything about La Goccia, We sat outside, it was lovely and warm with the outdoor heaters. The atmosphere was relaxed and I could have honestly stayed all afternoon! Everything we ate was delicious! I particularly loved the glazed carrots, house salad and GF Bolognaise. It was a lovely surprise for my daughter to receive a complimentary graduation dessert. The staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Everything is flat, no steps, and easily accessible for wheelchair users!
We cannot wait to return ❤️
