Found the waitress that served us lovely, however the ‘manager’ I think it was, (blonde lady) was extremely rude and not welcoming at all.

Expected more from this place as it is highly recommended, love the restaurant itself but a shame that this lady set an awful atmosphere as soon as we arrived because it was as though she did not care about customers and just wanted to close the restaurant.

If you’re going to work in customer service, atleast have a bit of positivity or customers will not want to return.

A beautiful place to sit and have a drink -overpriced food for what it is.

Lovely place and food was great but as we were sat by the door it was very cold .

I booked and specified it was for bday cocktails, they sat us directly next to the smoking areas, when one of us has seriously bad respiratory problems, we then were freezing cold, as well as one of us struggling to breathe! We asked to move seats, we were moved, however there was no social distincing whatsoever, felt very unsafe

Great service. Great food. Great value for money.

We both the steak and chips in a pepper sauce. Steak was very poor quality. It was full of gristle and was so chewy. We didn’t complain as they were very busy but we were disappointed

Lovely food and good service. Great early dinner deal. Definitely good value for money.

The only reason I haven’t given higher is that I had my ordered glass of red wine which was well under the volume mark on glass and looked an off colour. I sipped a tiny bit and it was like acid vinegar , burnt my throat . Was told it was from the keg .. clearly drag ends so this should be checked . Also I assumed I was having from bottle, staff and food lovely.

Fourth visit and will keep visiting La Luna..

We were a group of four and we all had different mains. We were all very pleased with what we had and would definitely recommend La Luna. We will be back again soon!

We went to La Luna as they had a great looking Vegan menu. Food was superb and service was great. Definitely will be returning.

Early bird menu was fantastic, plenty of choice and absoultely delicious. Highly recommended.

Great set early evening menu lots of choice the roast belly pork and black pudding starter was outstanding the lamb steak was excellent perfectly cooked and the mint red wine jus was to die for. So much choice for the deserts I wanted them all we had cheesecake pavlova and bread & butter pudding all were perfect. The price is ridiculously good for 3 courses including glass of wine or a soft drink . The staff were friendly knowledgeable and very efficient hence the well deserved tip . Will definitely visit again highly recommend.

Upon arrival our booking couldn’t be found even though I had an email confirmation of this.
Food was lovely and presented beautifully.
Service was very poor, upon being seated my husband and 2 friends were given drinks straight away (lager and cider) I myself order a pornstar martini and waited over 25 mins for it to be served after asking twice. Then we felt like the courses were rushed to get us out of the seats.. We ate a 3 course meal within 40 mins..

Yes .. I love it there , great value , wonderful food .. 2 for 1 on cocktails .

Lovely atmosphere, our waitress was friendly and assertive. Would definitely recommend for a girls night out

Steak was touch and Lamb was very dry. Waitress was informed but nothing was done.

Delicious food friendly service lovely atmosphere and upstairs bar areas are beautiful a lovely place to have cocktails or coffee after lunch.

Super slow service. Had to ask repeatedly for drinks. We were there over 3 hours and most people only had one drink and fed up of asking. Meals came at different times and we were not given the activity pack or drink that came included in the children’s meal. Food was lovely although different taste to previous visits meaning some were too spicy. If sat next to heater you either have hot then cold air blowing down your back or into your eyes if on the opposite side of the table.

We love it here, the food the service, the drinks, the price. We can’t stay away 😊

Always amazing food! Service was exceptional and the ambience was good!

The food was lovely but portions are quite small. The staff are friendly but slow and don’t always like it when you ask for another drink when they come to check if you’re ok. I also had to wait ages before paying as they only had two people working there despite being really full.

Everytime I go to La Luna the food is outstanding.

However, the service is poor and could do with some training on simple table service

Hardly no one smiles, no one checked back on our meal. I feel like basic customer service has gone out of the window.

Excellent in all aspects. Food , service. , ambience , value for money . A gem on our doorsteps .

Overall a lovely experience with lovely food. However, service both downstairs in restaurant and upstairs in cocktail bar leave a lot to be desired.

Not a busy night when I was there, but still a good few customers about. There only seemed to be one guy working the floor, but he had no problem with service and was a very personable type; helpful and cheery. Not the cheapest locally, but very good quality all round - my hake fillet was perfectly cooked. I would certainly recommend La Luna, and intend to revisit.

Booked for a group of six. The early dinner menu had a great selection and food was brilliant. Excellent service and food arrived promptly. Great value for money.

A cosy, welcoming and pleasant restaurant offering extremely tasty, non fussy food at reasonable prices.

The main courses don't come with veg, but having a bowl of random boiled vegetables plonked in the centre of the table is usually disappointing. Instead you can order the veg dishes you want.

We had sautéed green vegetables and the roasted Mediterranean vegetables - both absolutely delicious.

The deserts are clearly made in house rather than bought in, and they are very nice indeed.

We will definitely be booking La Luna again.

Very poor service. Trying to be A La Carte but falling badly. Not a clean place. Poor quality food and overpriced for what it was. Left hungry.

La Luna is a lovely intimate restaurant serving an interesting menu. As it is small even with a few people there is usually a pleasant atmosphere. For anyone who has not been there it is well worth a visit..especially if the early evening menu is available as it is good value...though only includes a amall glass of wine.

Lovely relaxing afternoon - the ambiance was fabulous, food really tasty. Try it out for yourselves- you won't be disappointed.

went with my sister we thoroughly enjoyed our visit .Have been before o n several occasions with different
friends never been disappointed.There was a young child running around which was a little off putting
as it was a 7 clock booking.

Such a privilege to find this place, beautiful food, great choices on the menu and amazing service. Couldn’t recommend it more.
