awesome food, cute little place. good for a first date or just a night out.

We are HUGE fans of authentic Mexican cuisine and this surely delivered! We had the tamarind juice with guacamole, esquites, lamb birria and the arepas. The arepas were our absolute favorite. The beef was juicy, well-seasoned and delicious. I am not a big beef fan, so this says a lot. We ate it all and it was filling.

The service was excellent and everything came out quickly! COVID measures were taken and we will be back. What a gem!

We had guacamole, the spicy mango chicken taco, and the mixiote de barrego. Everything was great! Right now, there are 3 tables on the sidewalk for dine-in. Very comfortable and clean.

La Mula Terca was the perfect place to get together with friends and enjoy some fabulous food, drinks, and service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The food was great and affordable - not to mention it was BYO, which adds to its affordability. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic food - truly above par. Service was great. We dined at 5:00, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Recommend very highly.

Best mexican in the city

The flavors are fantastic. All three of us loved our choices. The music set a nice ambience, but was too loud for a dinner with friends or family.

Food is FANTASTIC. We received a complimentary app and margarita for the day of the dead. Everyone was super nice. My only feedback is that service is slow, so BYOB and plan to sit and relax.

This is a great restaurant find in South Philly. We had the jalapeno margarita mix with chili-rimmed glasses, and they were great. I had a Pastorguesa sandwich, which is an "al pastor" sandwich...and it was great! My wife had some tacos...and it all was great!

La Mula Terca is always fresh, creative and delicious. The wait staff is very friendly. It’s a hidden gem.

Wonderful gourmet Mexican food. Great selection of small plates and appetizers that can make a nice varied meal. I especially love the steak specialties.

Our meal was fantastic! The guac was really good and our main courses were delicious. My friend and I both got dishes with grilled shrimp and veggies - so nice to have lighter choices. Would definitely go here again!

As regulars to cafe y chocolate across the street we decided to try la Mula Terca for brunch. We were not disappointed as the diverse menu gives you the chance to have dishes different than the run of the Mexican food found at most places. They were very accommodating making huevos Con chorizo (not on the menu) for our son who seems to always want that.
