So very hard to explain what we experienced. Tbh, we had a good time and some of the errors in the service were part of the entertainment. It was my wife’s birthday and we took our entire family to dinner. We chose the place over Angus because of the extensive fish and chicken dishes. Just to list: When we walked in they encouraged us strongly to eat their breakfast buffet. I went to look at it and the food was sticky, cold and unappealing. When we agreed to order from the menu and you could see the panic in the servers face. When I ordered I asked I would take the fish and chips if they had malt vinegar, which I was assured they do. When my meal was served she unapologetically said “we don’t have malt vinegar.” I was angry. And then I looked at the fish, which consisted of premade fish triangles (like fish sticks) burned to a crisp. Burned badly and she put it in front of me like it was no big deal. My family wanted steaks and meals like chicken piccata’s but followed the lead of the server and got “basic” meals like French toast or pancakes. My sons French toast had multiple long hairs in his food and he sent it back. When attempt number two came to our table it also had multiple hairs. He just ate other food from other plates. All in all we laughed and had a good time but for all the wrong reasons.

The service took forever and they weren’t that busy. My steak was overcooked and it did not look like a filet mignon. They made it look like a sirloin something you get from Sizzler and the bread for the bruschetta felt like it had been microwaved. And it was very expensive.

The server staff were very friendly and engaging as we were being seated. Ordered salmon and the porkchop. When the dishes arrived, I could smell the salmon before it was placed on the table(not in a pleasing way at all). Between the odor and that it had been way over seasoned, I only managed to eat about a third of the dish. The porkchop looked great till you cut into it. It was so overdone that the meat was grainy and very dry. It was also left on the plate almost untouched. After spending $300 we were very disappointed with the main courses we were served.

Stopped in Lancaster while wildflower viewing. for a small town we were blown away with the service, food choices and quality of the meals. We picked this place because they are dog friendly with an outdoor patio but with cold weather we opted to eat indoors. Both of our fish dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Vegetables were also great. Where some places add them as an afterthought, these were tender crisp, fresh and nicely seasoned. Sauces were so good on the salmon. I hope I can recreate. House manager came by to check in and brought some delicious housemate rolls that we lo-carvers had declined until we saw them at another table. Yum!

We were there during a very busy Easter brunch. Food was very good, although some dishes were a bit overcooked. Service was quite friendly, but a bit slow. Ambiance was very nice. Food and service could probably be chalked up to how busy the restaurant was. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and will definitely be back!

The owner, Lucy, is the kindest women you’ll meet. Helpful & ready to accommodate the guest needs. The food is spectacular and I suggest to go for any occasion. The menu options from drinks to dishes are numerous and will not let you down. Thank you for having me.

Our waitress was phenomenal, very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. (I believe she said she was the manager, I wish I could remember her name) Food was very good, especially the ahi tower which I loved. The artichoke dip was very good, definitely more of a French flair to it as it was heavy on the butter. The seafood risotto was so delicious, I wish I had order it as my dinner! The halibut was a bit dry for my taste but the lemon sauce completely made up for it. The only reason I gave a "moderate" rating for the noise level was because there was live music that night, which I was unaware of when making the reservation. I had not been here in a few years and remembered it to be a warm, quiet restaurant. At first, it was a bit overwhelming as the space is small and the volume was pretty loud (We couldn't hear each other across the table). As the evening went on and the restaurant wasn't quite as busy, the songs were a bit softer, so it allowed for more conversation. Joei Fulco was the performer and she did a great job. She interacted with guests, took requests and has a beautiful voice.
