The La Pappardella is renowned throughout the London area for its divine style and presentation of traditional Pizzeria And Ristorante cuisine, this is achieved by paying special attention to every fine detail and only using the very finest ingredients.
Excellent traditional Italian food served with a smile.
I have eaten here several times and always enjoyed it but the food this time was not very good (risotto).
Booked La Pappardella after reading a few reviews and was not disappointed... Great tasting food in a lovely restaurant where the staff were attentive and really friendly.. would highly recommend this place.... A lovely little Italian...
Authentic Italian. Even wait staff. Delicious food. Reminded us of Italy. Good atmosphere. Nice staff.
Booked a table for lunch last Friday, we arrived and the restaurant was empty. I wondered if I had made a mistake choosing this restaurant. We sat down and ordered and our meal arrived freshly cooked and quickly served. By then the restaurant was half full and buzzing. Our food was very good if a trifle large. Nevertheless we ate it up and really enjoyed it.
Service was good and polite and courteous. I will eat here again if I am in the same London area.
Wonderful food and great service! Very busy place and people queuing outside! Unfortunately the staff was very keen on getting us out of the place asap because of many people waiting for a table. The bill was on the table even before we asked for it.
Very disappointing experience. Indifferent service, mediocre food, and quite frankly, just not good enough.
The local was overall quite good. It's an original italian restaurant managed by italian people. The food was very nice, even tho we ordered 2 pizzas margherita. However the space was quite tight, giving low to no privacy for couples. Anyway, I would recommend la pappardella for italian food lovers coming to london near south kensington area.
Lovely Italian food, friendly staff. We felt welcomed!
Great food as always, outdoor seating downstairs is under renovation.
Good little spot for casual Italian. The food was good quality, portions a bit large in my opinion but some people appreciate that so I’m not complaining. Nothing stood out as outstanding but definitely very tasty and if I was in the area I would go back. Our party of four had calamari, bruschetta, a calzone, pizza and penne amatriciana which is an authentic Roman dish that for me gave this restaurant its authenticity (it was delicious though could have been a tad spicier). Service was authentically Italian..lol...little cool and aloof, a little slow (some call it relaxed) but professional and they warmed up with a few “Grazies”. House wines were also good. I recommend you give it a try.
Was great to be seated outside in the courtyard. Wonderful food great portion size and beautifully cooked
Delicious pizzas - very generous with the toppings.
Yummy! Great food with wonderful wait staff.
Great food and service
Everything was delicious and plentiful. A lovely meal before going onto the Finborough Theatre made for a perfect evening.
Excellent main courses and coffee. Generous portions. Reasonable prices.
Wonderful food and atmosphere
This establishment feels like it was transported from Italia. Loved the atmosphere and the food. I recommend the veal chops.
Unfortunately they had run out of gin. Pasta well cooked and tasty.
Best italian place in west London!
Maybe more beer/vegetarian selections in your menu would be great as well as more chicken options in your pizzas. Other than thay however, we have a lovely evening!
Gentilissimi i camerieri, attenti alle esigenze del cliente e molto simpatici! Servizio veloce e eccellente. Sembrava di essere in Italia: bellissima Londra ma, per mangiare, meglio La Pappardella!
One of my favorites when visiting London. The homemade pastas are worth the trip from anywhere. Salads and appetizers are equally as nice and shareable.
Food was absolutely fantastic.. excellent service and good prices.. dessert was to die for..will be back again when next in London
The food were delicious! The staff were also friendly and attentive. Food arrive pretty fast. Would definitely come here again when I visit London.
Meal on Saturday lunchtime and as always La Papp fully delivered on everything including choice of table location. We enjoyed excellent starters followed by superb main courses and (rather decadently) desserts with ice cold Pinot Grigio. Excellent everything.
I had lunch at this quaint restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. The service was very good. I had salad, soup and spaghetti carbonara and I couldn’t finish all the food as the portions were large. Everything was well prepared.
Seriously impressed with this restaurant - I’ve just come back from a week in Puglia where a waiter who used to live in London recommended this as one of the few places serving authentic Italian food.
I took my Dad and step mum and every dish was superb. I had the pork belly pappardelle which was super tasty and others had seafood pasta and a pizza.
Highly recommend and will be bringing my partner straight back for date night!
Food and ambience really good. Some of the staff were very friendly - our waiter, unfortunately, wasn't quite on the same planet as the rest of us!
The location and building were nice, but the service was very slow for our table. The food was good but the slow service dragged the experience down.
We visited before when we were staying in Earl’s Court and this restaurant was faultless so we decided to visit again. Wish we’d left it with good memories as this visit was very average. My pasta dish was good but my husband had lamb chops that were covered in dried herbs accompanied by frozen unseasoned spinach. We had a side of broccoli which was tasteless. The staff seemed more bothered about the banter between themselves and knocking the back of my husbands chair than being bothered about looking after us. As the main course was cleared they even asked if we wanted the bill!!!! Won’t be going out of our way to return..............shame
Great atmosphere but we were seated in basement where kitchen was and it was quite warm until they finally opened some windows . No fault of the waiter but they had too many tables for him to man so service was a bit slow. Food tastes good!
Food amount quite a lot especially the pizza and at very reasonable price. Tables a bit
Great Pizza and Pasta for good price (generous portions). Very Italian. Not many people in service but effective ones.
Celebrated a birthday, great food and great service 👌🏼
This is a go to neighborhood restaurant - crowded, noisy, fun atmosphere, good food & wine, professional staff - we’ll be back!
Go there quite often, the food is amazing and you always feel welcome by the Manager Luigi and staff
One of my favorite Italian restaurants when I'm in London. Their Home Made Pasta is always a winner.
