It’s permanently closed. I was able to make a booking through the website and open table without being notified that it was closed . Only to find out when I got there.
Lunch before matinee at nearby theatre, tasty and good value.
Very authentic, French brasserie/creperie. Great service, beautifully cooked, fresh food. Vegan options. Was so good we returned the next day for a 'lighter' breakfast.
Good service. Been here twice on pancake day, and both times had a fun time.
Not too expensive and good atmosphere.
A nice variety of food in the menu.
Probably the best savoury crepe I've ever had!
The selection is great, and you can customise to your own taste.
I was too full to enjoy a sweet crepe for desert but there's a lot to chose from including ice creams and waffles.
Excellent value for money, I'd definitely return.
The crepes were really good, I tried a savoury and a sweet one. I liked the food and the atmosphere, the restaurant was very quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
Very helpful staff. Meal was good. They did not have any bottles of the dry cider. The music was a bit too loud..French singers would be better.
A real taste of Brittany - crepes with cidre - delicious
As I had a Time Out offer, this was great value for money. The savory crepes were light and filling, although we still had room for a crepes fire dessert. Service was a little slow but as they were short on staff that is not surprising. There were more cooks than serving staff on our visit. I had ordered a crepe with pesto, feta and tomatoes and received a feta, spinach and tomatoes crepe. Still it was nice. One of our group had a bit allergy and they were very good about explaining what had nuts in. I would go again, but would not go out of my way to go again.
Very good experience. Great service, great food. I come from Bretagne originally and can say the standards of the food served is as good as what is served in Bretagne :) price is reasonable, and menus are very attractively prices.
The crepes were so incredibly delicious and authentic. Great enthusiastic service as well.
I loved it! Would definitely go again. It also perfect for gluten free as the pancakes are made of buckwheat flour and so tasty!
Service was really slow, order came wrong, had to come to the counter to place my order.
Would not come again.
It was a very hot day, and perhaps as a result, the lettuce in my salad was so wilted as to be inedible.
The crepes were good, however.
I chose this restaurant because I'm celiac, and was somewhat distressed to find that neither of our servers had even heard of celiac disease. I would not recommend this place to other celiacs, but if you can eat gluten or are merely gluten intolerant, this is a lovely place to eat a crepe (just not a salad).
Arrived in Dalston area, not particularly attractive (that`s as complimentary as I can be ). Restaurant not that inviting but better than the area, food was great, never eaten in a crepes restaurant before. Granddaughter didn`t understand the concept but ate her avocado and egg, daughter had duck crepe, which was fabulous, I had smoked salmon, also fabulous. I had crisp salad, very nice, daughter and granddaughter had Magret salad, which was made with smoked duck, it didn`t say this anywhere and neither of them liked it. Staff offered to change it, no need, our mistake.
The staff were very attentive and could not do enough for us.
I bought the vouchers from "Time out" for less than a tenner each, this included a savoury crepe, sweet crepe and drink (glass of wine for adults), this must be the best value meal I have ever eaten, certainly in london
I was lunching with a group of friends. We hadn't seen each other for nearly a year. No-one tried to hurry us and we did stay rather a long time.
This was a real find for a bite to eat pre-theatre at the Arcola in Dalston. The crepes were very authentic with a large selection of fillings. We started with the fish pate selection which was very tasty. It was just a shame that the first two courses were so filling that we didn't have room for the sweet pancakes! This isn't a place for an intimate dinner but a brilliant venue if you want a quick bite to eat and a catch-up with friends.
It felt like I was in Brittany again. Excellent galettes. Need to return for the Kouign Amann as was too full
Staff could not care less... Got the order wrong, barely apologised for it and charged the full price. Crepes are really average, you can certainly have nicer meals for that price in Dalston!
Celebrating the production of a friend’s play at a nearby theatre.
It was a lovely atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, fantastic service, great value & delicious crepes! Had a wonderful time :)
I wasn’t granted any of the special requests I made prior to my visit on this website
Nice spot to discover in dalston. It's probably like an english-man visiting France, as you still hear Abba on the radio-but a good selection of music nonetheless. We has savouries, sweet crepes and salads. The ones that stole the show were the sweet crepes-especially the one with Grand Marnier, nice taste and visual. The vegetarian crepe was nice and crispy, but then again it was three cheeses:) The vegan one was good but a bit soggy.
All in all, they have a nice selection and would recommend trying them.
We had such a good time on saturday night, i know the hammersmith one and wanted to try the new restaurant in dalston. Never disappointed with a food, as a french person i like to find places to feel like home !
We had a small gathering for my partners birthday. The food was excellent.
It’s new so it’s still finding its feet but if you like proper French Crepes it’s a must
This not fine dining but it provides good and interestingly different food at a reasonable price with friendly service in crisp modern surroundings. A welcome addition to the UK scene and the Dalston area in particular.
I'm afraid that this is not a restaurant I would ever visit again. It is built like a draughty barn with random music bouncing off the walls. We only stayed for a savoury pancake and it was quite unpleasant. The core of the pancake was rather tedious buckwheat and the contents showed every signs of having been pre-cooked. They were also very thinly spread and tasteless in spite of their description.
Very nice new little crêpe/café in dalston, very close to both stations. I had crêpe with cheese mushroom and ham, and my boyfriend had spinach ham and cheese. Both very tasty. Only one thing, my boyfriend would have preferred the spinach to be cooked instead of raw. As a dessert you have many many options and all looks delicious!!! We will definitely be back soon!!
Went there for a quick lunch and was really surprised by the place which is nicely decorated . I was welcomed by a friendly waitress who proposed me a few options for the table and handed me over the menu. There is quite a wide choice of crepes (sweet and savoury), some of them being gluten free. Food was rapidly served and tasted great, I will be back!
The food was good but the service left a lot to be desired we had to ask for our empty plates to be removed from the table after they had sat there empty for nearly fifteen minutes and then had to the same after desert. The restaurant only had about 8 dinners of which we were 3 very disappointing first visit to this new restaurant.
