La Petite Ferme London
With an inviting rural charm and superb selection of imported produce available to purchase and take home, La Petite Ferme London is a 9-minute walk from Farringdon Tube Station.
It’s our 4th visit to the restaurant. We always have the Market menu but was disappointed that on this occasion there was only one choice of starter, Quinoa with watermelon and avocado. Could hardly see the avocado and the watermelon was very sparse. The main courses were delicious though.
Everything was perfect, delicious food, the personnel was very friendly!
Small French restaurant. Nicely decorated. Excellent food. Not too expensive for London.
Let petite ferme was a pleasant surprise for a quiet Friday night supper. The staff were super nice and accommodating. Lovely cocktails and easy wine list
a nice French restaurant with good quality food. Pleasant staff and a good ambience
This restaurant is an absolute gem, I don’t have a negative word to say about it. Food, service and drink are all perfection. Go, you won’t regret it.
Restaurant didn't take the booking and placed three people in between two loud parties at a table for two
Lovely meal in a pleasant ambiance
Fantastic Valentines Day meal. Good food, service, music and ambience. Will go again.
The restaurant was nearly empty yet the waiter never came around to ask even if we wanted water to begin with, then we had to tell him that we are ready to order after he took another table’s order who came after us. He has a bad attitude, does not smile, takes his time. He is almost rude. Shame, pretty restaurant but unfriendly staff. Food is ok no more.
One of the worst meals I had in London. The place itself is lovely, nicely decorated and nice ambience. However staff was not attentive and rude. My food was completely cold ... like ice cold. It was my partners birthday so I didn’t say something but again I also raised that to staff and asked for a nice table because of the occasion and they sat us to the last table next to where they would get their cutlery from. Not a good experience and spend a lot of money for a disappointing evening there.
Good food and efficient service. Great wine list and authentic French cuisine. Tapas style works well. Ideal for a relaxed evening or lunch.
Nice restaurant. Food reasonable
The service very slow even when we were the only customers for the early dinner. The wine was very good but unfortunately the food was very mediocre. May be the place is more suitable for a group dinner, they have a few large tables perfect for a friends night out. Overall I wasn't impressed and wouldn't go back.
Cozy restaurant, friendly staff and excellent food at very fair prices. Wine list interesting and reasonable priced. I may become a regular.
Simple but elegant food expertly executed but an efficient small team.
Food is great, service is great, wine is great. There's a reason I keep coming back...
Went to La Ferme London in Farringdon with my sister for a catch up. Food, service and surroundings were great. Really enjoyed the experience and would definitely go back again.
I’m French, I’m picky, and I loved it. I’d recommend the Chef’s menu, probably the most affordable 5 course meal I’ve seen in London. Good wines, good cocktails.
A wonderful restaurant! Very professional, welcoming and helpful service. Exquisite food. We visited on a weeknight with our two children who loved the menu. A very high standard of dining, and the evening made all the more enjoyable by the string jazz quartet who made the ambience exceptional. I absolutely recommend La Ferme to anyone who appreciates fine French cuisine.
An absolute delight. Quiet on this lunchtime occasion but atmosphere enhanced by some quiet music. Great service and a delicious meal.
We really enjoyed the mix of simplicity with sophistication of the food. The service was friendly and excellent. The food was really fresh. We took the menu of the day and felt it was real value for money
All round good value and great food from an energetic team. The menu is small but well executed with a good veggie option. For the price point it’s GREAT value for what was quite innovative food
Very pleasant evening meal. We chose the venue for its closeness to Farringdon as well as its very French appeal. There were three menu options. We chose the Le Marche - very fresh ingredients with 3 courses. Flavours were excellent, if the portions were a little small. Ambience was welcoming and relaxed - we didn’t feel at all hurried. Wine tasting party next to us was a little lively but not too disruptive.
The set menu is reliably delicious and updated frequently. The dishes are seasonal and the portion sizes just right. I recommend this place frequently and it never disappoints.
The menu du jour was good value, and there wasn't anything on it that I wouldn't recommend. Both pudding and cheese are well worth having. Nice quiet place for a chat, Pleasant ambience, about five minutes walk from Faringdon station.
We enjoyed the atmosphere, very pretty restaurant. The food was good but not extraordinary. Typical French food with a novel twist, tasty but nothing exceptional. £20 for a three-course meal is good value. The restaurant itself was quite noisy, super warm (too warm) inside and the service was very slow. We waited a lot for our food which made the experience a bit less enjoyable for us.
A truly lovely lunch, beautifully presented and the set lunch is excellent value. We were the only people there on a Tuesday lunchtime, which seemed incredible for this level of food. I will definitely be returning.
Menu du Chef was amazing!!!
La Ferme is a small authentic French restaurant. The vibe was charming. The food was excellent albeit the choice from the set menu was by very limited which we knew in advance and which presumably helps to keep the price such good value . I will just say that my portion of sea bass was pretty small. It wasnt an issue for me as I am not a big eater, but anyone with an appetite might have been disappointed. But overall we really enjoyed our lunch and would go back if in the Farringdon area.
Great set lunch but too small. we both left rather hungry
Food was pretty good, service was quick.
The portions are good, feels just enough after meal.
Nice place. Great service. The food is a letdown and very overpriced. Left hungry after having a starter and a main.
Great food in a really lovely restaurant. Will definitely return.
Super casual French bistro with solid simple French food prepared with good ingredients.
A fantastic little French restaurant with a very authentic feel. Highly recommended! Added touch of live music on Monday evenings (the music was completely suitable for the venue and not intrusive).
Excellent. A little bit of rural France in very urban London. Food and wine were top quality, and the waiter was friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. We would definitely eat here again. Highly recommended!
Really cosy environment, rustic and authentic French food with a fine dining edge. Friendly staff and delicious food. Escargots, foie gras and magret de canard all to perfection.
Excellent French restaurant - would highly recommend - the food and service was superb and great value for such excellent cuisine.
The food presentation was outstanding. I had a starter and a main and they were both first-class presented. The quality of the ingredients was also good and I liked how the flavors were balanced together. The restaurant was (incredibly) half empty so service was very attentive. The decor has a lot of French country-side character. I think it is the perfect spot for a quiet, intimate date
