La Terraza is taking bookings only for lunch from 11.30am until 3pm
We had a booking for a table for 3.00pm. We arrived to be told that the kitchen was shutting until 5.00pm and we could have drinks only. I asked why we had reservation if the kitchen was shutting at 3.00pm and got no meaningful reply. No mention on website regarding the kitchen times. No apology, no food...... left straight away!
Strongly advise against this place. Rude and slow service. I booked place for b'day of work colleagues. Called to check if all is fine and was informed i don't have to worry about anything. They mess up our order (2 people out of 9 didn't receive food). And then manager claimed it is my fault... because we didn't pre-order. I called specially to check if this is required and i wasn't asked to pre-order. Manager apologized in a way that again, suggested it is our fault and didn't offer anything in exchange for the poor experience.
Food was under cooked (potato were under cooked, fish was overcooked). Starters were nice.
The biggest mistake they did - they served alcohol for two people who explicitly asked for recommendations for non alcoholic drinks due to medical conditions. For me it is unacceptable and irresponsible that after informing on the constrains alcoholic beverage was served to pregnant women!! Again, apologies were made in a way that suggested it was our fault. Really really dissatisfied.
Service is very, very slow. The staff are unobservant of their customers and it takes at least 20 minutes to get a bottle of wine, with no apology. Otherwise it is a great little spot.
A pop-up restaurant and an excellent answer to the “where on earth can I have a good meal outside whilst the weather is good” conundrum. A far more limited menu than the restaurant but what is there is good. The salads are excellent and the white Rioja very cold and decent value.
Lovely place for the warm summer days. The food was good but the service was not great.
Our waiter was fantastic, could not do more for us to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had everything we needed.
Good quality food in nice surroundings. However portions were quite small and we weren’t able to have a coffee after lunch as we were informed they didn’t serve this.
Very nice place but the smallest portions I have seen! Mains on the lunch menu will leave you very hungry
Good quality food, but portion sizes very small, we had to order more food after our 'main courses'.
Menu quite small and not as interesting as the main Iberica.
Setting (on a sunny day), ambience and service were all top class, and the food we did eat was delicious. A few tweaks away from being excellent.
Fabulous location at Cabot Square in Canary Wharf especially during these gorgeous summer days! We had arrived at 12.15 so the restaurant wasn't too busy although kitchen was very slow and as we had only an hour for lunch they need to be a little quicker. The manager on duty did present us with a lovely meat and cheese platter to compensate for the delay. Overall - fab location and great food.
Very tasty but a bit pricey - great location
