Our Head Chef at La Terrazza presents the Summer Afternoon Tea, a mouth-wateringly delicious take on the Great British traditional with Italian twist. Enjoy traditional savoury bites and a selection of delicious fruit scones and Italian cakes with a glass of Prosecco and a choice of unlimited tea for £44 per person or £49 with a glass of champagne. Tuck into stylish drinking space and quality food which can be enjoyed whilst indulging in great live piano music. Available Saturday – Sunday from 2pm – 5:30pm the Xenia’s Afternoon Tea is also a great pre-theatre treat! Pre-booking advised. At least 24 hours notice is required.

I think what shows is this is a restaurant with strong ambitions. I'm told the menu has been recently revised, and its a fine menu with an inventive flare. The "visiting" menu is a very nice concept, that I hope they will continue with. Portion sizes are a little on the smaller side, you will want the starter, but I think this is partly reflected in the pricing which are on the low of average for Kensington. The food is well executed, and flavourful, presentation is good. Service was slightly green, did absolutely everything right (a rare thing), but maybe just not perfectly cohesively. Atmosphere is very pleasant. In summary, its actually a very nice restaurant. PS. The toilets are outstanding!

I went here with my guests (relatives from abroad). The moment I entered, the manager Mr Albino knew already who I am despite it being my first time. Maybe he matched my looks with my surname =) I was immediately impressed. He led me to our table and also showed me my options of going ala carte or the buffet. He also showed me the buffet area and explained to me the spread. We opted for the buffet for 30quid per person. I personally liked the buffet spread and it was enough selection for me (not too few nor too many you'll be overwhelmed). It also comes with refillable coffee. Gave me and my guests freedom to choose what we like to eat for breakfast. I also specifically noted that I will pay for the bill and I really appreciated Mr Albino helping me about this (since my guests are offering to pay). Had some concerns with my card (forgot the pin on my new card!) but they were very cool and patient about it. Overall, nice and quiet ambiance, good selection of breakfast food, good coffee and good service. Would recommend this place!

The ambience in the Conservatoty was sterile, it looked average delicatessen after hours. The seafood salad was bland and as for the ravioli - it was cold and dense and oily, it made wonder the culinary process profiles of the people who gave reviews. I was polite and paid but it was really bad!!

La Terrazza has really good, yet fully unrealized potential… Set in a lovely boutique hotel (Xenia) the restaurant provides delightful ambiance and above average Italian fare… Management was attentive and knowledgeable of the menus, ingredients, etc… While well-meaning and courteous, the wait staff is in need of training that provides the knowledge necessary to answer basic questions… As a result, La Terrazza a bit over-priced considering the level of service they can provide… Having said all that, we enjoyed our meal and would return expecting these small kinks will be worked out.

We came early so it was still very quiet. Only had mains. My parmesan risotto with summer truffel and jeruzalem archichoke was very salty and soupy, with no truffel taste. The artichoke was just a garnish. It was a large enough portion. The children had burgers which were on the small side (not from the children's menu). It was convenient because it was close to our hotel, but would not eat here again.

The afternoon tea is overpriced! They make better sandwiches at Tesco’s. The coffee was average, not that great, champagne a little bit flat, and we got charged £4 for a sprite we didn’t have. The service however was exceptional!

A lovely dinner in the conservatory with a wide selection of items on the menu. Cocktails were delicious and we started with a chef’s salad full of great ingredients - ahi tuna, green beans, hard boiled eggs, etc. We also shared the bruschetta which came with three different “varieties” so we were able to try different flavors. Delicious. Each of us had the sea bass entree which was terrific with wonderfully sweet tomatoes garnishing the dish. Lastly, we split an absolutely excellent tiramisu. It was a great evening with on-point service at every step and we also enjoyed conversation with the couple at the neighboring table which made our time at La Terrazza extra fun! We would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

The service was absolutely fantastic and the food delicious and quite abundant. The atmosphere, the piano playing and the attention that we had from the staff have made my girlfriend’s birthday absolutely memorable. I absolutely recommend it and we’ll surely come again.

Food was good, my steak was terrible. Our server was absolutely terrible. We had to keep having another server do her job, she was not attentive or kind at all. I believe that the manager was the one of who kept helping us.
