   Lovely place to eat. Everyone very helpful and professional. The food and service were excellent. Definitely in my ‘go to’ list and will recommend to friends. Only one silly trivial comment. The front door needs a coat of paint. It’s condition belies what’s inside, which is a clean well laid out and relaxing restaurant.

   Lovely restaurant and very good food choice but a very slow service, particularly as those who didn't order a starter had to wait for over an hour before any food came out.

   Offered a set lunch menu mon-fri but no times published. When requested was told only available till 5, rather mockingly told it was a lunch menu and obviously not available after 5, I pointed out it didn’t say that anywhere, he checked and even after realising the error, he just brushed it off. The pizza was ok, but not amazing. The pasta however was awful, small amounts, very limited ingredients and watery. One meal was returned as it was that bad and a replacement was offered but declined, if you can’t get it like the first time, what’s the point of trying again. As well as the confusion with the set menu the fact that Thursday night was meant to have a live jazz band which also didn’t happen was very disappointing as it was the only reason we booked. Won’t be returning due to the staff attitude and the quality of the food.

   First time visit to Villa Verde. Thursday nights was Jazz night but unfortunately the act never turned up so that was a little disappointing. Apart from that we really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Lovely fire kept the place warm but don’t sit too close to it as it gets very uncomfortable while eating. We will be going back. Love Italian food

   Asked for table by log fire which they lit specially for us before we arrived. Two of us wear hearing aids and asked them to turn the music off so we could hear what we were saying which they did. Polite staff, food served quickly and was all delicious and not expensive. Definitely go there again and highly recommend it.

   We love this restaurant. Food is always amazing. Staff are attentive and service is quick. Highly recommend. As pescatarians we would love some fish/seafood pizza options!

   Female waiting staff not very happy, looked like didn’t really want to be there. Italian male staff lovely. Bit cramped where we were sat. Felt rushed with food, hadn’t finished my starter and they came and started taking dishes away. We asked for service charge to be taken off and young female was very rude about it. Even though we did tip cash after.

   I’ve eaten at La Villa Verde a few times now since it opened and I have had great food and service every time. The interior is really spot on too! Just a lovely place to be for the afternoon.

    The place was nice and bustling busy. Our table was ready and we were shown straight to it. The menu was varied and lots of choice. The food came and we were really disappointed. The king scallops were very small and in my experience they were not king scallops. My mom had the fish and it was on a bad of spinach which was so greasy. My daughter’s pasta was tasteless and so bad I sent it back. She reordered a lasagne and again pretty bland. I had the lamb cutlets. I wasn’t asked how I wanted them cooked and they came on a bed of mash covered in a funny flavoured sauce. I asked for a side of vegetables and they came and were potatoes with a few slices of carrots and a few green beans and hardly any on a plate so I thought they were really poor value. There were five of us. No puddings no bottles of wine, £180. Didn’t feel it was worth the money - sorry!
