Langan's Brasserie

Quieter than normal but in light of the coronavirus it was expected. Love this restaurant, will be returning for my birthday.

Simply one of the best restaurant in London!

A most enjoyable evening with delicious food and excellent service.

Been using Langans for 20 years.
Food as expected, indeed as it always is, was tasty and perfectly cooked. Steak and kidney pudding alone is worth the trip into London on a Saturday night. Service from our waiter was attentive and helpful.
The issue for us that we were placed by Receptionist on a horrendous table for two in amongst 3 large table with 10-12 people on each. Two of the tables were the same party with kids and teenagers from one table constantly visiting Parents’ table and repeatedly knocking my wife’s chair. No one from these groups was intending to be rude, they were just having a celebratory dinner and in good spirits but unfortunately just impacted adversely on us.
Was avoidable as there were other tables for two available for the entire time we were there.
Same receptionist bizarrely said I could check my wife’s coat in upstairs next to the reception but because they were busy my coat had to be checked in downstairs next to the Gents toilet. Completely ridiculous.
No hint of apology from her.
Just rude.
I am conscious I am cutting off my nose to spite my face because I truly love the food and will have withdrawal symptoms for the steak and kidney pud but I don’t want to be spoken to that way so I will not be going back. Can’t imagine Wiltons or Rules behaving that way.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with excellent service and excellent food.

I’ve visited Langans many time over the years, and always enjoy the food and service .

Jamal was polite and professional. However when it come the paying the bill which we split between couples,
The surely man in suit,
Purple tie and glasses could even be bother to say thank you , smile say hope to see you again soon. Nothing!
When we raised the issue was raised when we collected out coats, staff just shrugged. No apologies. Left a sour taste. Which is a shame, he clearly wasn’t bother by our custom.
Clearly £270 pounds wasn’t enough.

As always exceptional food and great service ! A true favourite of ours

Langans never disappoints. We were celebrating a 70th birthday and they made a fuss of my Aunty. Made her evening special.

Loved the whole experience from the minute we walked through the door the staff were really attentive and polite. We had drinks before our food and then were able to go to our table a bit earlier as there was space to do so. The service from the staff was outstanding and the food sublime.

Fabulous evening catching up with a friend. Haven’t been to this restaurant for years. It has still retained its charm. I certainly won’t leave it so long next time.

Great service, food and atmosphere at Langans on Weds evening. And the team sang happy birthday to my mrs! Well played guys and see you again when we are next in town.

5 former work colleagues having a 50th anniversary lunch marking how long we had all known each other. We all had been to and enjoyed Langan’s right from it’s beginnings. Everything was fine but the service, whilst efficient, was a little surly. The place still has great ambience and is ideal for a celebration.

It's not my favourite restaurant for nothing, a trip to London isn't complete without dining at Langan's.

It was quiet due to the Coronavirus but , as ever, great service and food. Wish I had chosen the plaice. My guest shared some with me and it was superb! Next time!!!

It’s Langans so it generally nosy but otherwise always a pleasant experience with good service.

As reassuring as ever, even in a Coronavirus world gone mad, Lagans delivered once again. Exemplary comfort food, served with a celebratory flourish with enthusiasm and charm. A Mayfair high spot that doesn't clobber you with stratospheric pricing, it's a place to cherish.

Atmosphere remains buzzy and likeably edgy. Food is straightforward and well served. A [popular favourite of mine.

Great restaurant, lovely food, relaxed atmousphere and good service!

The food was good yet nothing special. If you’re looking for a no frills well made French dinner then this is the right place but don’t expect any culinary master pieces! The waiters are incredibly nice and took great care of us and while for the kind of food you got it was little pricey it was still a nice evening.

- great house wine
- Allergen list with gluten free options which the waiters were also very attentive to.

- overpriced for the food served
- nothing you haven’t tried yet

Been going here for many years. Always great ambience. Reliably good brassiere/ traditional English menu. Spinach soufflé our favorite. Good and reasonable wine list. Only issue this time was that a woman magician went around tables for tips— luckily we avoided it. An unfortunate interruption that I hope they don’t repeat.

Great for a treat, but not a regular dining place. Food is good honest fare and I love the ambiance. But it is expensive and the wine list is overpriced.

I love Langan's. I've been many times and will keep coming back. Food is great with an excellent varied choice as is the wine list. Staff are terrific, always very friendly and sometimes a little eccentric which is cool and helps make for a wonderful ambience. Don't change!!
