Maybe we did not take the right dishes but we weren’t overly impressed with the food. Just nice not wow. The staff was very friendly though. We also thought it was very loud in there so we decided to skip the dessert as we could barely hear each other.
Fantastic little spot, super friendly staff who followed strict social distancing guidelines but made you feel welcome. Obvious it is a hit with regulars, as even on a Monday it was busy and customers and staff alike knew each other. Food very good, pricing very reasonable. I have a severe peanut allergy and was told with confidence that nothing in the restaurant contained any peanuts. Will visit again!
Amazing staff, so friendly and accommodating and the food is incredible! A real taste of authentic Italian in London. Couldn’t recommend more
I love this little neighborhood gem. The specials are always very enticing and delicious. The staff is friendly and give you generous wine pours. The food is classic Italian so you can't go wrong!
So great to have them back. I had forgotten just ho incredible the food is!
Went to L'Antipasto on strength of reviews from other diners. Really good experience. Nicely varied but not over-lengthy menu and our choices were very good. Friendly service from all the staff. Pleasant buzz from a mixed crowd of diners - couples, family groups etc.
Would definitely return.
This restaurant is always consistent, good food, good service, friendly staff and a pleasant environment, and its local for me, perfect!
Lovely service and nice restaurant. Portion quite small for main but tasty.
Never fails to satisfy! Tasty food and friendly staff, all very authentic including the restaurants ambience.
Had a wonderful date night meal here. The food was excellent and the service was very fast. Would definitely recommend to a friend
The restaurant was closed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My local- proved to be amazing As always!
Love this restaurant the food is always consistently good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Went at around 4pm on a saturday and it was pretty quiet to be honest. Usually this wouldn't put me off in a restaurant if other factors made up for this, but they didn't. The man serving us was stood behind the bar on his phone most of the time and looked pretty bothered if we asked for something. Food wasn't amazing, standard Italian.
The food and wine prices at the restaurant are at least 30% more expensive than the menu in the OpenTable app. So, beware!! Also, the place lacks atmosphere and there is no air conditioning. It’s very hot inside and the food just average. Not worth it!!
Amazing authentic Italian food! Real homely feel! Highly recommend
Having been recommended I realised I have driven past many thousand times without noticing this excellent local Restraunt. I went last week, my partner and I had a selection of the ‘specials’ of the day and all were very good. I particularly liked the twist of adding balsamic vinegar to grilled mackerel.
I enjoyed myself so much I returned within the week with four guests. Everything we choose was very good and we particularly liked the home-made desserts. First visit service was speedy despite being Friday night but service slowed quite considerably on a busy Tuesday. Overall excellent value-for-money. A few drapes, one in each corner would take the edge of the high volume created by boisterous enthusiastic diners. I really recommend trying this great place but do book..
Would definitely recommend, however for the best vibe, I wouldn’t go before 7 as slightly quiet.
Fantastic local Italian, run by a busy, hardworking team on a busy corner in Battersea. Can barely believe the prices for such good food, great (but stretched) service in a lively little restaurant. Thoroughly recommend!
Reasonably priced local eatery. Pasta is very good. Avoid the steak. Fish is fresh and good value for money. Staff is very friendly.
What a wonderful discovery! Fantastic food and the staff were simply wonderful! And what's more it was really good value - would highly recommend for couples, families and celebrations!!
Neighborhood gem, authentic food, great prices
great little Italian place, people are nice, food is great.
Friendly helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere. Good food
Lovely meal. We enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere and the food was very reasonably priced. Friendly service, good night out.
It was lovely! Only thing i was missing was a bit of music in the background.
We have been customers of Antipasto since the early 80’s,!! It has never let us down and remains friendly ,good value and delicious - the wine list might be enlarged to include some of the top end reds (Italian of course!) Thank you Antonio.
Just go and see what you are missing!,Have been twice and have no hesitation in recommending this super place!
It’s been a while since I have been at this place , food is still great, staff is friendly and desserts fantastic.
We were recommded to L'AntiPasto Battersea and it we really enjoyed ourselves. Very well priced for excellent food, wine and service. The place was really buzzing with a good atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff.
Really friendly service & great food! Really good value too - definitely coming again!
This is the third time I’ve been here and it didn’t disappoint. We had the lasagne, cannelloni and pasta with prawns and chili and all were delicious. Great value for money as well, will definitely be returning.
Very intimate, fabulous home cooked Italian food, friendly service, very reasonable prices. What more could you ask. Coming back 100%
Hidden gem in battersea. Reasonably priced, delicious Italian food
An excellent find in Battersea for our party of three. A small restaurant; there appeared to be only two servers who managed very well on the busy-ish Friday evening. Lovely meal starting with the avocado e gamberetti, insalata tricolore and garlic bread, followed by spaghetti alla Siciliana and a couple other delicious pasta dishes. No room for afters. Certainly would return if in the area again.
Bit of a mix up with drinks at the start and one of the mains but service was generally good. We really enjoyed the food here. I had the gnocchi lamb meatballs for my main which were lovely. Started with the polenta with mushrooms and finished with the tiramisu. Food is really good and value for money with generous portions. The house red is worth a go, full of fruit. Did manage a try of my wife's minestrone soup with was really flavoursome and full of crisp veg. On the main road so traffic can be noisy so recommend sitting at the back but not a big issue. All n all it is always a go to restaurant for us with tasty Italian cuisine.
My husband and two teenagers had dinner at the restaurant and they had pasta, drinks, and desserts during our London visit. Two boys love their pasta. My husband said his pasta was a little too salty. He thought the server might have added salt instead of pepper at the table. Otherwise, it is good value for money and will visit again.
Good local Italian restaurant. Fresh and tasty.
We came here for my mum's birthday and had an amazing meal. We had a table of 7 and everything was excellent- the service was perfect (especially when they brought out the dessert and sang happy birthday!), and the food was delicious- everyone cleared their plates!
I have been here twice now and will definitely be back, everything was great.
It was good
