Lardo in Mexico City is known for chef Elena Reygadas' cooking of Mediterranean food from a wood burning oven. Diners are encouraged to share.

Lardo serves breakfast with egg dishes like croque madame and sandwiches. For dinner, choose from a number of small plates like ham, cheese and salads. Lardo has great food, all of the products come from local and organic farms which make the flavor delicious. We had the nduja pizza and the yellow sting beans slad for starters and we just love the pizza crust and the freshness of the salad. I truly recommend to ask for the daily specials.

La comida me pareció buena. El pan suculento!
El servicio muy regular 3 veces o 4 veces para pedirles lo que queríamos éramos 7. Por lo mismo dejamos 10% de propina, espero hayan comprendido , nadie nos pregunto si habíamos estado a gusto.

Our one night in Mexico City has to be special. Lardo did not disappoint. Highlights included the stuffed zucchini flowers, burrata and chorizo pizza, the red snapper and the caramelized banana dessert. Everything was outstanding! A ver delicious meal. Hope to be back very soon.

Best meal we had in Mexico City. Everyone hypes about Contramar, but Lardo blows them away! It’s not even close. Definitely make a point to eat here. The black rice and squid will change your life.

This was relatively simple food but very tasty. Very good wine list by the glass including new to me Mexican wines which were the good side of interesting. Super friendly service in fun atmosphere room. Very good value.

Fresh made pitta bread is delicious. Shared the broccolini and the arugula salad, both fresh and recently cut from the garden. We all had the fish of the day which was prepared to perfection, crispy skin, tender flesh. The wine was an albarino, the best for a hot day. I did not have dessert, my friends did and said it was outstanding. I took a small bite of the tarragon ice cream, heavenly.

Regresé dos veces el corte wagyu, increíble pedir un corte así y que llegue fibroso dos veces, quiere decir que no hay un buen control de calidad. Lo demás estuvo bien pero me quedo con mala imagen.

We were delighted with our visit to Lardo . We did make a reservation and it was honored right away , no waiting . We had the Flores de calabaza filled with goat cheese, with a delicious sauce on the side . Our friends had a pizza with eggplant that was very good . They have a big pizza oven . We also had two meat tacos with a yogurt sauce that were super. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything there it’s all delicious. The servings are on the small side which we happen to enjoy more . The breads and pastries are to die for ! The coffee is excellent too . I’d like to go back and try breakfast someday, must be great . The restaurant is not large but it is popular so making a reservation is a good idea ! The desert made with avellanas was wonderful . Our waiter was very sweet and patient with us . An enjoyable lunch indeed .

La comida con escelebte sabor, lástima que las porciones sean tan pequeñas. No hay quien te reciba a la entrada, incluso son un tanto déspotas y groseros los meseros.

Very ordinary food. The humus was bad. You get better quality burrata in a super market. Exorbitantly expensive. Very noisy. Will not go back.

La comida es muy buena y el ambiente relajado ayudó a que la experiencia fuera agradable. Sin embargo, a pesar de reservar con tiempo y que llegamos a las 7 pm nos dieron muy poco espacio para 8 personas: estábamos verdaderamente apretados. Pedimos cambio de mesa pero ya cuando nos avisaron que nos podíamos cambiar, ya estábamos terminando.

As always, Food was great. From the classic Hummus to the new dish Tuna Tartar, Lardo is a center of deliciousness. Service was great, although it was quite busy due to Saturday. The only area they can improve is probably their size of portion, which I think can be a bit more generous. Overall - excellent experience

The food is incomparable Mediterranean, accomplished, sophisticated, and remarkably smart. I’ve rarely seen spices and flavors used so creatively in even their traditional dishes. I would actually travel back to Mexico City for this food alone.

The service is solid but the waiters are split in duties and sections in a way that makes it highly unmanageable for them, not effortless. Fix that and you’d have a very affordable Michelin type experience.

I can not recommend this place more highly

Llegamos 6.30 pm , había dos mesas libres, nos dijeron que estaban reservadas a las ocho y que si queríamos podíamos aprovechar una hora y media.
A las siete 30 ya cenando hice mi reservación por Open Table, y si había espacio.
A las 8:00 p.m. tenían adicionalmente otras dos mesas libres??
Tardaron en recoger los platos sucios, la tablita de carnes con ensalada de Arugula era mínima para el precio ( 4 pedacitos y fríos)

Considero que tienen una gran oportunidad de mejora, el punto está muy bien ubicado, buen iluminación, gente etc. creo que hay que cuidar la parte del servicio precio y alimentos, hablando de alimentos se supone que es un restorán español y hay muy pocos platillos españoles típicos,

Al llegar al menos 5 minutos antes de la hora de la reserva y aun cuando el salon no estaba lleno no se nos respeto para el número de plazas solicitadas y fue hasta que se pidió asistencia que empezaron a hacer "todo lo posible para encontrarnos una espacio". Nuestra comida tardo mucho en llegar incluso las bebidas... no se diga nada del postre que al final nos dieron de cortesía por la poca calidad en la presentación del mismo. decepcionante ya que yo había recomendado el lugar todos muy desilusionados en relación a servicio-precio-calidad

Good food although plates are quite small, so I definetely recommend ordering apetizers. Cocktails and desserts are also really good, I really liked the ambiance.
