Larsen's Brussels Sprouts
Spicy arugula, tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, and goat cheese, balsamic vinaigrette
The food was amazing, the service was outstanding. The atmosphere was great. I love this place.
My friend had the prime rib sandwich and LOVED it. I had the Ahi salad. It was good but I should have had the dressing on the side as they tossed it with too much dressing which made the lettuce soggy. They gave us a wonderful treat for my friend's birthday.
An excellent dinner and dining experience all around. The waiter (sorry that I do not recall his name) and the piano music was outstanding. A great evening to remember for my wife's birthday.
Service was very slow. Restaurant was not crowded but our server was not attentive.
Great service. Food was very good. Excellent Oysters on the shell!
Price is on the very expensive side. We spent $250 on two small filets and one side and Salad to split. Two well drinks. With and order of oysters
We celebrated my mother’s 83rd birthday. The booth we sat in was great. The service person helped with her walker. The food was excellent and presentation was perfect. I had the stripped bass and it was cooked perfect and a great portion. The butter cake was outstanding. I would recommend band come back for sure. All the service people were great snd the piano player was great as well.
My friend and I went here for our birthdays, which are a day apart. Everything was
fantastic from the moment we arrived. They take great care to make you feel welcome. The food was divine. They even surprised us with a birthday surprise at the end.
There’s never a disappointing time coming here. It’s always perfect. The bread is insane, the food is always consistently amazing and they have the best Brussels sprouts of any restaurant we dine at. The sauce on the Scottish salmon is perfect.
Spent Thanksgiving at Larsen's. We had the traditional Turkey dinner and dined outdoors on the patio. The meal was lovely, and it was perfect to dine outdoors away from the crowds. Larsen's never disappoints. The only negative was that we had several issues with our server who we assumed was a new hire. One must learn to lower expectations during these Covid times. We were very appreciative that Larsen's was open for business on Thanksgiving as we have always enjoyed an excellent meal at this restaurant.
The food and service for our lunch was excellent but sitting near a table of
approximately 15 people marred the experience since we were celebrating
an event and would have appreciated a more quiet ambience.
I understand that the restaurant had no control over the bookings and
numbers of guest but I realize that our dining experience would have been much nicer without the noise from the next table.
On the positive side, Molly, our waitress was exceptional and helped us enjoy our meal even under the noisy circumstances.
Piano was extremely loud.. Hard to talk/listen
Delicious food and excellent service. Pricey - but that's probably to be expected at a steak place like this.
We celebrated our 45th Wedding Anniversary. Beautiful piano music, champagne, heirloom tomato salad with burrata cheese, shared a rib eye, side of mashed sweet potatoes and a lovely anniversary dessert. The pianist took requests. It was a romantic evening.
We eat at Larsen's frequently and usually have an excellent experience. Last night was the exception, I guess, that proves the rule. The service was definitely not up to par. Our salads came before the drinks and I suspect we wouldn't have gotten our drinks if I hadn't reminded our server. The champagne was flat and had to be sent back. The steak was undercooked and had to be sent back for a bit more fire. First time in recent memory I left less than a 20% tip. I'm hoping this was a one-off. We'll probably go back after a while, maybe after the holidays.
Appetizers were all good. The sides were all good. Lobsters were great. But for a steakhouse, they should know how to cook steaks better. I wanted black and blue. It came out looking like it was broiled. Sent back and it came back smelling and looking burnt on the outside. The third try was better but not perfect. Their hot plate was not really hot.
IT IS GREAT SITTING AT BOOTHS---VERY COMFORTABLE. SLIDERS ARE DELICIOUS!
Delicious food, good service, this is a high end steak house.
Great food and service, however the prices in the web site were lower than than on the restaurant menu. The creamed spinach was a little salty for me, but good. I think it should be served with small bowls and a spoon so that it does not run into the main course on the big plate.
I really my enjoyed dinner last night, the service was excellent, my rib eye was cooked to perfection and the ambience completed it all. Highly recommend. Servers are knowledgeable and very nice (genuinely nice)
Food fair at best. Ahi salad expensive but not good. The dressing was too strong and masked the most important part of the dish -- the ahi. The ahi was also far too seasoned.
Well this use to be a place my dad liked to go when he came into town. The food and service were always good. Last night the service we horrendous. We started with salad and before we were half way though the main course was coming out. The girl respond I just bring what I am told. My husband sent his back so he could finish his salad. They forgot to check back and bring his steak back. I complained to our waitress and the manager. Neither did a thing. They acted like they could have cared less. Completely unacceptable for what is suppose to be a decent restaurant. Also in the past the restaurant has always been full. This time is was more then half empty and with good reason
Everything was great, the staff was so polite. The food was prepared perfectly.
I wasn’t crazy about the $5 Diet Coke charge seemed a little excessive and unnecessary, it was a small glass of Diet Coke. However everything else was literally perfect.
Their Brussel sprouts are the best in town. We got the surf and turf for two.
This was our first time dining at Larsen's Steakhouse in Encino. We ordered a rib eye...a delicious, tender piece of meat. We shared a salad which was more than enough for 2 and a side of garlic mashed potatoes, also more than enough for 2. The food is well prepared and the portions very generous. The price is high so if you go, be prepared to spend quite a bit.
Felt like they were short staffed. Not the normal attentiveness, but it got better as the meal progressed. The food was exceptional as always.
The best restaurant I have ever been to. So professional the staff, and everything is very detailed to perfection. Pristine restaurant with a New York like steakhouse feel to it. It’s well worth your time and money. Also, have a piano player that was out of this world good.
The steak was not great this time. It was disappointing as I have had great meals here.
Great food. Great vibe. Great night.
Great for our anniversary. They compted us a beautiful dessert
Service was average. Food was good, but not worth the prices.
Great birthday lunch.
Excellent dinner, nice piano music, fantastic manager.
They served us oysters in broken shells! The waiter never came back to check on us after we pointed out that several of our oysters came broken, without any oyster liquor. Salad was bagged lettuce & tasted like plastic. I’m truly disappointed. Hefty price for mediocre steakhouse. Go to Davenports instead. Sorry, I’m a foodie & need to tell the truth.
Exceptional food, service (Jason is an absolute pro as is every other person from the hostess to the busboy) and the live piano is better than most music venues. The steaks are delicious and we gorged on the French fries and mushrooms as well. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.
Always a pleasant experience. Pricey, but well worth it. If you are celebrating an occasion they will give you a yummy complimentary dessert. Very nice atmosphere and service is always good!
Service and food was amazing as always!!
Highly recommend. Nice restaurant with excellent service and food. Definitely a go to place to celebrate a special occasion.
I ordered the sea bass and the fish was so under cooked I felt like I ordered sushi. It wasn’t worth the cost. But aside from that it was fine.
Wonderful. Been twice once for work dinner and once for a date. Will go back.
Came here for my birthday, what an amazing classy and beautiful place ! Food was delicious, ambiance was beautiful and piano player was a big plus! Had an awesome time, thank you Larsen’s!
