Laurent at Café Royal is the new Grill and Sushi Bar located within Hotel Café Royal on London's Regent Street. The restaurant marks a return to London for French-born Laurent Tourondel, and his first venue in Europe.

Laurent features an array of newly designed areas including booths and views of either elegant Regent Street or the grand hotel lobby with a spectacular Murano glass chandelier at the centre.
International influences are evident across the new menu where Laurent has combined his experiences to open a restaurant unlike anything he has done before. An open kitchen and grill offer the finest grilled meat and fish; whilst sushi masters prepare inventive sushi, sashimi and raw fish from the sushi bar.
The bar offers a wide selection of wines from both new and classic regions with a focus on the French 'regal regions', alongside cocktails and fine spirits.

Excellent location and service. Food was a cut above and the pre-dinner drinks in Cafe Royal started the evening off nicely.

My wife and I had a quiet lunch together and enjoyed it very much. The Yorkshire pudding side dish was peppery and very good indeed. Overall the food was very nice and the service superb.

Great experience at Laurent at Café Royal. Intimate and cosy dinning room with a very nice bar. The food was amazing, the service and staff were top notched, we were really taken good care of. The steak (Angus ribeye) was incredibly tasty and tender, sushi plate made of fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend and will go back for sure.

We checked out this swish new restaurant at Café Royal last week and were very impressed. The sushi was great option to share so we opted for the Lobster roll with the grilled Octopus (our personal favourite) to start with; we had been recommended the steaks by a friend so opted for a Fillet and Ribeye with bone in. Both steaks were cooked perfectly although the small piece of butter that came with it was a little overpowering for me personally, I would also recommend the Beauvale Blue sauce vs the Bernaise. The Pesto Courgettes for a side are another winner, as are the mushrooms (and you can’t really go wrong with a side of chips when you have steak). There was a slight wait for mains however the staff were very friendly and took time to talk to us about the hotel and new restaurant, all in all a very enjoyable evening with the other half!

Fantastic food and service from this new restaurant. Will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu, although I suspect my husband will want to stick with his peanut butter dessert!!

This restaurant is a great addition to the London food scene, with a really varied menu that we loved. Too many highlights to mention, but the sushi bar and desserts were awesome! And the filet steak I had just melted in the mouth. We will certainly be back to Laurent.

Great sushi including the most delicious yellowtail with jalapeño and ginger and shrimp tempura, followed by a US steak. Great atmosphere, we had a table overlooking Regent Street, friendly staff and great cocktails. Highly recommend

A truly phenomenal dining experience.
We are regular visitors to the Hotel Cafe Royal and had visited the hotel during it’s refurbishment of the new restaurant, we couldn’t wait to try the new restaurant. Well let’s just say the wait was more than worth it. The food displays a wide variety of flavours and styles. We were especially impressed with their options for dietary restrictions. Fantastic decor and excellent service by a wonderful team.
Will definitely be back soon, would highly recommend the sushi and to make use of their highly knowledgeable sommelier team.

The quality of food at Laurent is divine! The steaks are tender and the sauces match them perfectly. The highlight of the whole meal was the peanut butter dessert which was absolutely unreal. Great waiters and a lovely atmosphere, a must in London!

Incredible food, service and setting. Blown away from start to finish and can't wait to return! The sushi was the best I have eaten anywhere and the Wagyu beef short ribs was beyond perfection!
