Lavanta Meze Bar & Grill

Very welcoming, beautifully prepared fresh food, we had the sea bass on bed of roasted veg which was very tasty.
Friendly unfussy service.

The food was delicious and plenty of choice for starters and mains. There were only 3 options for a sweet and one had run out. The waiters were very professional and helpful. There was classical music playing which was pleasant and not too loud. It was quite expensive, but probably worth it. The ambience was Ok, but rather quiet for a Sat night. The restaurant was very Covid secure.

Dinner on a Monday evening is never going to have the best ambiance.

The food is excellent though and the service good.

We had chicken skewers and lamb skewers. The chicken was delicious but the lamb was very fatty. Great service though.

Monday teatime, healthy quorum of diners, doors open at front as very warm. Excellent deal of £16.95 for 2 courses, and with the 'Eat Out to Help Out' deal on top, very well priced. The falafel and humous starter was perfect, and the mixed grill sumptuous. Nice atmosphere, very friendly service, a good evening, and well worth a further visit.

Lovely meal and really friendly staff. Was extra busy due to the eat out to help out scheme and yet everything still ran very smoothly!

Waited one hour for our meal to arrive. The excuse was shortage of staff and we did not have a starter!! No one came to explain the delay and when we did query we asked if they could provide nibbles free of charge but they could not help. The food was nice but the waiting spoilt the whole evening. Will nit be going again.

Amazing food and such good value for money. I live in Oldham but would make the journey for the food.

The only negative was the quality, sound of the music. Sound system was faulty.
Overall a very pleasant experience and food was amazing.

There were 4 of us dining, and every meal was amazing, we ordered 5 starters to share at the table and they were all divine. When it came to the mains, 2 ordered burgers and 2 ordered the grilled chicken in white wine sauce, my mouth is now watering from writing this review, it was amazing. We would all 100% go back. Lovely evening with good food and service. Happy to accommodate dietary requirements, and adjustments to the menu. Overall very good.

My food was excellent and very tasty. Staff were very helpful. My only issue was that it is always a bit too cool for me. I like to be warm when I am eating.

As usual the food was very good. Lamb and fish cooked to perfection. Service was a bit slow, but only to expected for food that is cooked to order with good quality ingredients.

Had booked a table last Saturday for the 4 of us who were in Leeds for the one night and were staying close by. The evening was great with the food and service excellent.

My wife was suffering with the flu and the owner of the restaurant went beyond what could be expected by driving us back to the hotel.

Would certainly recommend Lavanta to everybody visiting the area as the menu gives you a vast number of great foods

Really good food in a lovely lively restaurant. Service was a touch on the slow side, but I presume this was because everything was cooked to order, and the food was delicious and very well presented, with good sized portions and good value for money. Only let down was that every other table seemed to be offered a drink on the house when they asked for their bills, and us as a table of ten were not offered this. Being from out of town this was a shame and 8 out of 10 on the table don't drink alcohol anyway!! We are regular visitors to the Leeds area now, so will bear this is mind for future visits.

Great food, we had humous, baba ganoush beef stifado and a chicken dish, all were delicious, service was efficient and friendly, would definitely come again!

Great food, great wine pricey but you money is not waisted. Good venue with a nice atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

Excellent flatbread. Really tender beef stifado & lamb shank. Home-made baklava very good without being too sweet.

Amazing steak

Food was excellent.
Service was awkward - she seemed new but also very inexperienced and rudderless - someone give her some guidance and I’m sure she will do just fine!
Weird issue with the speakers whereby there was no music but a horrible noise kept netting through them every 20 minutes or so!
Will definitely come back, for the food mainly. It was really very, very good indeed.

Nice meal, I recommend that house special Sea Bass
