Unfortunately the restaurant didn't honor the reservation. We showed up 15 minutes early and not only did they not honor the reservation...the kitchen was already closed.
No apology and no offer for a resolution. (i.e. reduced quick menu, etc.) A bit of a mess as we now needed to find a new restaurant at 10 pm on a Saturday Night. I won't be coming back.
Had a confirmed reservation. Showed up 15 minutes early and they had already closed the kitchen, a full hour before their closing time. They were very rude about it.
Great pasta, nice atmosphere and speedy, almost too speedy service. Pasta was pricey but delicious. Unusual bread served for Italian oriented food. Overall very good but, I know it sounds weird, service was too fast. Especially for a nice restaurant in Paris.
This restaurant was very Parisian and cute inside, the food was excellent, but be prepared for poor (and slow) service. This goes beyond the typical laissez-faire French dining culture of taking your time, we waited 20+ minutes to get water upon arrival and even longer to order wine and appetizers. Several other tables were frustrated with order mishaps and delays in receiving/ordering food.
Good food and wine. Service was good in the beginning. But then dropped off markedly. Friendly staff. Gorgeous ambiance.
Excellent atmosphere, good food, friendly staff in spite of a busy Saturday evening.
We turned up at 14:45 to be told the restaurant closed at 15:00 when our table was booked. No one phoned to advise or confirm the table which left us with no table on Christmas Eve. The receptionist was rude as if it was our fault for booking and somehow should have know it was closed. Very disappointing not even an recommended made.
Great atmosphere. Head waiter polite and attentive. Starter and Main excellent. Panna Cotta a bit over set
Very friendly service and the food was great 😄
Great restaurant. Really enjoyed the salmon tartare and beef carpaccio.
The server was very accommodating and friendly which is somewhat rare in Paris based on our experience.
Would be back for sure
This is a fabulous place to eat and the management and staff are so attentive to every detail. It was the best meal that we had in Florence which is saying a great deal for this restaurant. Facilities were great, service was impeccable and the food was great with a wonderful presentation. They have the best desserts.
We reserved a table and when we paid to get 13 people there they said they have no tables at the open table request they just ignore them
I came in to this pretty little spa-adjacent restaurant because of the photos online & the great reviews. My mother and I had the scallop pasta & the Milanese. Both very high quality with subtle, gorgeous flavor. I believe the chef did forget to add smoked mozzarella to my mother’s veal Milanese dish. Still a lovely experience I would gladly recommend to any who are looking for a low-key, casual but “instagram-worthy” dining experience.
The service and food were excellent! We highly recommend Le Café Des Bains!
The soft boiled egg appetizer was amazing and the pasta cooked with coconut milk is my absolutely fav!
Great neighborhood find. The people were friendly and the food was delicious.
Restaurant is now Italian focused. Good was very good and the staff looked after us well without hovering.
What a lovely atmosphere and outstanding, friendly service. The food was exceptionally good, light, and fresh- even the creamy pasta and scallops that would otherwise be heavy. We’d highly recommend this place for an easy and light meal.
As an American sometimes dining in Paris can be confusing. But this is a great foodie experience with great flavors, great options, and great value. Off the beaten path in an area with fun shops and a neighborhood feel. I had double salmon tataki with secret sauce.
They messed up our order and then we had a hard time even getting our check
Pricey for quite average food.
Place is in a really cool part of Paris, lots of bars and restaurants near by. We ate here on a Friday night and had the worst service. We sat down and it took 30 min before they took our drinks. We order wine and they forgot to bring it, so we asked after 20 minutes. So we sat there for 50 min with nothing to eat or drink. They had two servers working the entire floor but they were not busy enough to have an excuse for a 50 min wait. Food was delicious, great place to try some French cuisine. Took about 90 min from when we order to get our food. If we would have been properly served a sufficient amount of booze our experience would have been way better but it was a struggle to have the servers remember to serve anything. Maybe we were there at a time when they were training or short of staff or something. If service improves this could be a great spot
Staff was extremely helpful and polite!
Just perfect in every way! The staff, the host and the chef came out.
The food was good. The decor was nice. The service was amiable, but very slow.
The ravioli with black truffle is seriously the best dish I have ever had! The only thing I hate is that I didn’t discover this place before my last night!!!!!!!! Amazing !!!
Even though we made a reservation upon arriving were told they were no longer serving food.
Our first night in Paris, we walked around our neighborhood and had an amazing meal! Our lovely server didn’t speak much English and was very patient with my limited French. Every dish was perfectly delicious and we drank a wonderful local red wine. Such a perfect start to our vacation !
It took over two hours for our food to come.
