This is the place for pre theater dining. The food is fantastic, the service is attentive, and they are focused on your so you don't have to. I would recommend for pre theater or any nice dinner

We entertained our granddaughters before an evening of live musicals next door. The menu is focused and packed with wonderful cuisine options for all ages and tastes. The wine and cocktail lists include some terrific selections which we paired with filet mignon and seared halibut. AWESOME! Michael took great care of our table, offering observant and timely but unobtrusive, friendly service. Dessert was equally well-prepared and presented. We will return - with our without theater tickets!

Be careful when ordering an iced tea with your dinner. They may serve you a specialty drink like an Arnold Palmer, without informing you or telling you that each refill is ordering a new drink. We paid $15 for one order of iced tea and felt deceived. This quality of a restaurant can do much better.

I love this restaurant. Food and servers are excellent. My only complaint is that the menu is extremely limited and it hasn’t been changed in quite a while.

Excellent place for a dinner date before a show at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Great food, excellent atmosphere and perfect service.

Cafe Rouge is the perfect location for a meal ahead of any Segerstrom performance. Great food and good service right next store to the performance venues. We even enjoyed the themed prix fixe menu items which matched current performances. Such fun! While service was a little slow at times, the overall meal was timed perfectly to match the start of our performance.

This is a fantastic location to dine at before a performance at any of the surrounding venues. It is also an elegant environment with classy dishes and service. The prices are a bit high, even given the quality of food and ambience. I think this also keeps the crowds away as the restaurant was not full on a Wednesday pre-performance. The staff is acutely aware of timing and will ensure you make your performance. Overall a great place to try!
