Efficient and friendly service. Great food as usual.
In the past, Leicester Square was not known for its culinary experience. Here comes a fantastic restaurant which was a very pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and the service quick and polite. We'll be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you for a great meal!
Having lived in Mexico for 3 months I can say this is not authentic mexican food and the prices are extremely high for the small portions you get! The food is nice but nothing amazing and given there is no authenticity I cannot really recommend going there if it is Mexican food you are after!
Had the set menu lunch. Excellent selection & brilliant value. Staff were amazing. Attentive & professional. Will definitely recommend & will be visiting again soon.
We visited on Thursday 15th August at 10:45pm.
I booked very last minute and late in the evening. It was our wedding anniversary and we’d just been out so it was a last minute chance find.
Absolutely loved the food and service.
Our honeymoon 10yrs ago was in Mexico, so it was appropriate to have Mexican meal!
Kitti was our waitress and she was lovely, efficient and couldn’t do enough for us. She is a total credit to your restaurant. So friendly & good at her job. Thank you Kitti!
The food was delicious and everything was explained before we ordered.
We had some small plates, sides and tacos, all delicious. Our favourite was the duck salad.
The chicken & cashews salad was nice, but the chilli lime dressing was very strong for me. Still, it was good.
The cost was as expected and although a little above our budget it was good value for everything we had.
Such a lovely meal with great service and a warm atmosphere.
Great food and service. Enjoyed a drink at the bar first. Menu explained well. Second time I have been there and would highly recommend it!
Have dined here before. As usual both the food and service was outstanding. All staff very efficient in every way. Waiting staff ready to help and offer advice on all dishes. Will definitely eat here again when in London.
We were looked after very well by all of our servers.
Before ordering we made it clear that we weren't keen on very spicy foods - the servers were great at guiding us through the menu and ensuring the dishes we eat were suitable.
The food was delicious as always and presented beautifully.
Amazing food and service
Good service and very nice food. Ideal for pre theatre dinner!
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff offer outstanding service. Their cocktails are a must and the menu is superb, small dishes arrived one after the other each one more delicious. Could not recommend enough.
I would rate this restaurant 11 out of 10. The food was so delicious and flavoursome, especially the stone bass and the chocolate doughnuts. Great service too. Will definitely return again.
Best dinner Ive had in London so far. very nice atmosphere in the resturant.
Nice, modern interior. Friendly and helpful service. Very fresh and flavourful food. Thoroughly recommended.
Birthday meal great food although tapas are tiny ! £7 for a nibble is extortion ... four quality and taste superb
Took my Friend for a birthday meal and we were pleasantly surprised by the decor and overall feel of the restaurant. Our waiter was great, so helpful and attentive (without being overbearing). We ordered quite a bit of food, which between us came to £65 and was very filling. Would definitely go again.
Delicious food, a bit pricey because will end up ordering many tapas for the table but worth it to treat yourself once in a while!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Leicester Square Kitchen! Our servers Gaetano and Kitti provided exceptional service, including recommending dishes and cocktails to try based on our personal preferences, and all of the food and drinks were delicious! We especially enjoyed the beef tartare tacos and the smoked tuna tostadas. The small plates enabled us to try many things and share between two of us. We will absolutely visit again the next time we are in London!
Our second visit... Food and service was excellent.
Staff were amazing and so helpful ! Thank you x
Our early evening first-time visit to LSK was for a pre-theatre dinner which was a very good choice in terms of location and dining experience. We went for the three small plates from the set menu all of which were delicious - my favourite being the Robata pisco-glazed smoked paprika ribs! We took a bottle of Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc which was a decent accompaniment to our food. The service fitted our pre-theatre circumstances which meant there was little waiting between the plates. The LSK team were also happy to accept my OpenTable voucher cheque with no questions. I'd definitely return probably on another combined theatre evening.
Excellent food, excellent service! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Gaetano was a fabulous server and we had a delicious meal and would definitely come back!!
Great cuisine and fun for sharing with lots of variety even on the set menus.
Great location and even caught a glimpse of a Hollywood movie premiere!
I was meeting with a friend for some cocktails and mexican snack. I have to say overall experience was great. Food was tasty and cocktails pretty. We were servee by very professional portiguese young men and hungarian blond lady. Servise was great and efficient. Only complain i might have is portion size, but then again, it is expected from city restaurant. Nonetheless, worth to pay a visit on taco tuesdays. Thank you for having us.
The staff are so friendly. We were served by kittie who was really attentive with filling our drinks, explaining our food and the manager remembered us which is always lovely. The food was exceptional!
It was as my 60th birthday and what a great place to celebrate the food was fresh and tasty ,,,, I would highly recommend this restaurant. One downside was they don’t have bread !!! What a shame as that would have complimented the meal .
The white wine was also fantastic.
We had a four course menu and was absolutely stuffed .
Give it a try !!!!! Great food great value .
We visited after the theatre whilst on a weekend break to London to celebrate a special anniversary. We loved the decor and the service was exceptional (Magda I think). Even though it was late and the restaurant was in the process of closing, which detracted slightly from the ambience, Magda was really welcoming, friendly and professional, encouraging us not to feel rushed. The food was interesting and tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed it, having been inspired to visit by seeing the restaurant on Masterchef.
Everything Perfect! Still one of the best restaurants I’ve been so far.
Absolutely pleasant environment. Good quality food and well presented. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed two Italian waiters (Gaetano and Antonio), very professional and friendly (I speak English but it made me happy anyway because it was a sign of attention to the customer). I forgot .... really fantastic cocktails. I will be back !!
Excellent experience here. I was a little dubious with it being right on Leicester Sq, thought it could be a tourist trap. Couldn't be further from the truth. The menu was creative, food amazing and service top notch.
The food is a modern Mexican & Peruvian tapas. This means you get to try a lot of dishes, which trust me you will want to. Given it's theme the food has spices and chillies in abundance, although that doesn't mean everything is burning hot, just tasty. Plenty of choices for meat eaters and veggies, my daughter is gluten free and she eat well too. Decent drinks menu and the margaritas were well made.
Service was simply outstanding. Attentive, amiable and knowledgeable. Daniel our server made sure we had a great time and guided us expertly around the menu, including using a pen to mark up one of them for my daughter so she knew what she could choose from.
Ambiance was cool but fun & friendly, not stuffy or too hipster. If I had one piece of feedback it would be that they could turn the music down just a touch. The shared eating approach makes for a convivial atmosphere anyway so music on top can make it hard to hear the other end of the table.
Given the location and standard of food the overall cost was surprisingly
Would thoroughly recommend.
Great atmosphere and excellent food. Service was exceptional.
We had a lovely meal here! The pre theatre set menu great value, outstanding food and amazing portion sizes. The service also sets this place aside and the two girls that serviced our table, Magda and Elisabet, were fabulous and really made our night, also organising a surprise birthday treat for one of our party
We returned to the Leicester square kitchen for our annual fix on our Europe holiday and weren’t disappointed. We were welcomed and the service and food was as amazing as last year - highlights are
the corn and the Ribeye is exceptional. Thanks
to Kitti and Elizabeth for their awesome service and
To the Restaurant managers both ensuring the whole restaurant and tables were all well taken care of. Can’t recommend enough!
Throughly enjoyed our dinner here before going to a show. The service was great, very helpful and friendly staff. Food was delicious and bursting with flavours and spice. 5/5!
Was in London for a week and this was my favorite meal of the week. Tasty small bites. The tiny tuna tacos were my favorite. The Tommy's margarita was fresh and not too sweet. Service was the best we had all week.
I've always avoided the tourist spot areas but the reviews were so good here so we thought we'd try.
First, booking a table in advance doesn't matter, you got stuck crammed next to every other two person booking right by the door. Was uncomfortable as you can hear everyone's conversation.
Two cocktails took over 20 minutes to arrive, we had to ask three times. The food is nice but nothing special and for the price, it's laughable.
The service is achingly slow and confused. For two people it was £70 each, which for what we got was a farce.
For good Mexican or Peruvian food for the same price or even less, may I recommend Som Saa, The Smoking Goat, Chotto Matte, Flesh & Buns, Pisqu. Anywhere but here.
Amazing dishes at affordable prices. Cocktails were to die for.
Love the small plates of beautifully presented fresh, spicy contemporary Mexican/Persian. Very different. The location is perfect for a pre theatre lunch and the set menu of 3 dishes for £22 is phenomenal value. The setting is modern and relaxed and the staff friendly and attentive.
Our waitress Magda was excellent- very attentive, informative and even did not charge us for a dish we did not like. The food was also very good and I had a great cocktail- very smokey negroni. Highly recommend.
