Leicester Square Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
I visited January 14th with five friends (three couples). We were welcomed by Peter who guided us through the night in the best way possible. Each couple ordered five dishes each, and we shared all the dishes around the table. Peter organised so that the dishes arrived at the table in a steady pace, giving us time to taste everything and to chat, without the food getting cold. Very tasty mexican and peruian tapas style food, nice atmosphere and good value. I give Leicester Square Kitchen my best recommendations!
It was my second time visiting the Leicester Square kitchen and it was amazing!
Great spicy food and perfect ambience. Our waiter Antonio was delightful and so helpful. He also brought a chocolate brownie out for my boyfriends birthday free of charge.
I would recommend any of the food!
With my wife and two teenage children, enjoyed an absolutely delicious, innovative, and yes...spicy dinner. Small plates were a lot of fun to share and re-order the most popular ones. Our server, Mario, was a connoisseur of hospitality, good humor and sensitivity to the somewhat delicate plate of our younger child. A pleasure. Great vibe, good music. Surprisingly hip for a Radisson Blu property. Highly recommend. Will absolutely come back on our next trip across the pond.
Really pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant with innovative & good quality food, good service, decent space between tables, and reasonable prices - right on Leicester Square. My husband & I went there for a pre-theatre meal. Service was swift & helpful, ambience very nice, food nicely original and very tasty.
Fantastic food, beautifully presented. Definitely would return to try more dishes. The lamb cutlets were amazing as was everything we tried, 12 different dishes presented to us tapas style as they were ready, portion size about right. We sampled lots of different flavours and were impressed at the level of spiciness, I hope its not diluted to suit other peoples palates! Maybe a three chilli symbols to make people aware! Some like it hot! I'm tired of revisiting restaurants only to find that the spicy food you enjoyed previously either isn't on the menu or has been tamed!
We mentioned it was my birthday and they brought us cake. Nice touch. Friendly and attentive service. Benches not particularly comfortable but plenty of other table configurations to choose from next time. It was early Saturday night and there was a dj playing, I would have preferred just background music but it wasn't too offensive.
In short, fantastic food, would definitely go back, probably the best mexican food i've ever eaten. Worth the money.
This place was very different. We ate here prior to going to the theatre and loved the experience. The food was interesting and we took the waiter's advice as to what to order from the set menu, which I thought was good value. It is well placed for theatreland and I would definitely go again.
Met before theatre with my wife and grown-up daughter. Expectations were on hold given the central location, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The service was attentive and friendly, the pre-theatre menu was good value at £20 for 3 courses, which we shared, so we ended up with 9 small plates between the 3 of us, which was more than enough. Tasty mexican inspired food was excellent, duck salad was a highlight as was the asparagus. It will now be a definite go to restaurant for us when we are in the west end! Tip - make sure you ask for the pre-theatre menu - we only knew about this via a Trip Adviser review and we warned that you needed to ask.
Our first experience of this fabulous restaurant, it will not be our last. Very friendly, accomodating, we arrived over one hour ahead of our booking, no problem.
The food experience was wonderful, best Mexican we have had, and we are fine dining foodies, and so many healthy options.
After a busy day in London this was a haven in which to relax and to enjoy outstanding food.
Our first visit to Leicester Square Kitchen and what a find!! Very, very fresh and delicious food, prepared by the folk you can see working away in the kitchen. Nothing like your average goop in an average Mexican restaurant: full of cheese and horrible nachos - this is fresh stuff people!!! Gorgeous from start to finish - even the pudding was amazing, pistachios and ice cream all wrapped up in a tiny little doughnut. Fun and friendly Viktoriya's boots were sparkling - Peter was a joy and looked after our 'alcoholics' a treat, the service was slick and to the point; restaurant and toilets were spotless as were the cutlery, glasses and tables. Didn't like? Absolutely nothing!!
delicious & so beautiful plates
fantastic taste experience
we had a bouquet of flavours
congratulations to the chef
so wonderful waitresses
special thank you to Samantha (if I remember well her name)
so professional & attentive to the customer
ready to come back during my next trip to London
Great location but when inside you are out of the hustle and bustle. A chic restaurant with great service and wonderful food. Staff so friendly and professional. Our waiter was Dimitris. An amazing find, so convenient for theatres, cinemas and the national gallery. Toilets down a flight of stairs so less suitable for people with mobility issues.
We were delighted by our visit to this restaurant. The Mexican and Peruvian menu has many interesting and unusual options. We decided to share everything and had several outstanding dishes. Good wine list and helpful to have 500 ml options. Extremely attentive service with a further bonus of constantly replenished fresh water.
