Excellent quiet, lovely room, classic french menu i had venison and a great chocolate soufflé. Good for semi formal business lunches
We love L'Escargot. The service is second to none and they serve the best lobster bisque in London.
Great ambience, lovely food, nice variety of wines by the glass or bottle, impeccable service - really nothing I could fault!
Fabulous food and excellent value - looking forward to next time.
Top class on food quality and ambience as usual.
Only wish the service team could leave us enjoying our meal; have been asked if they could clear our plates (still with food) twice within 15 mins, when the restaurant was not busy.
Thank you!
No follow up on the timings of our main courses and desserts.
Nobody seemed to bother the the restaurant being half empty between 2pm and 3pm.
The food was delicious but the mains took 30min to reach the table and the desserts 30-40min. I would have at least expected on of the supervisors and managers to apologize or at least touch the table,
No particular expectations when I booked but left the place disappointed.
Really enjoyed our lunch. Great service and atmosphere. The food was excellent.
Everything was amazing!
L'Escargot is a wonderful restaurant in the Heart of Soho. The food is consistently excellent, the service is swift and polite and the ambience is "so Soho". A wonderful restaurant for that romantic meal or pre-theatre supper. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Excellent. Wonderful setting and you almost forget you’re in the heart of soho
Double birthday celebration!!!!!! Very nice experience thanks to our waiter very attentive, He been bringing little extra during the evening to make it spécial to us.We opted for the 5 courses menu experience, I must say more the dishes come more the portions was bigger 😁 we was very full. We enjoyed every things the first course I ve could have more of it 2 snails 3 mushrooms in pate feuilleté but was absolutely delicious!!!!!! And they’re garlic sauce for the snails are very amazing!!!!!!!!!!We wasn’t very keen on the dessert an souffler pistachio but I think it was just about taste as we are more chocolate desserts.

Definitely a restaurant I’ll never return to...
Excellent, as always.
A wonderful hidden gem, highly recommended for special occasions.
Excellent food, excellent service, wonderfull atmosphere
A last minute find with a train to catch, a lovely offer for the chateaubriand and sparkly wine, and a distant memory of a good review by Jay Rayner made us step through the door.
A lovely thing indeed, the nicest french onion soup I’ve had in 20 years, and good service making for quite a special early evening. Thank you
Good food, excellent service nice ambience. Been several times this year. Just wish the main a la carte menu changed a bit more. Pricey but very enjoyable.
Fabulous surroundings, food, value, service. Would definitely return. Recommend this restaurant.
The best restaurant in Soho. Food and service are always consistent.
Outstanding as ever. Never get bored coming here. And everyone i bring rebooks with their friends. Says it all
The food was amazing and worth the cost. Great customer service and friendly staff. The tasting and prix fix menus are great.

Overall an excellent evening, very busy famous Restaurant, I would recommend, attentive staff and good food
We had the special offer set menu, very good value for money. Came with prosseco but we changed to red wine, but were charged for the wine.
Lovely looking restaurant.
Will visit again.
When booking I mentioned it was a birthday meal, but we didn't receive anything to mark the occasion.
Absolutely everything is outstanding here. Cannot fault this dreamy dining sensation
Lovely building surroundings and food. Excellent and friendly service. Cant wait to go again
Great food especially the chateaubriand offer with the bubbly! Staff were attentive and welcoming, even posing for our photos!
Lovely, calm and warm atmosphere. Staff attentive but not overbearing. Food delicious. Will become a regular haunt!
Heavenly steak, very good level of service, decent space between diners. Would go again any time
Excellent service, a great location, with first class food (especially the dauphinoise potatoes!), and helpful and attentive staff
Food and service were amazing. The venue is really beautiful
Very Salty soup but good service
The food is exceptional! Great for pre and post theatre.
Excellent venue, the food was superb, as usual.
Lacks a bit of atmosphere at lunch time though
We had great food, great service and the company was exceptional. We love it !!!!
Excellent escargot and perfectly cooked Chateaubriand. An excellent wine list.
Charming service and delicious food. Wine is expensive but the house red is fine and good value
We had a lovely early dinner at this classic restaurant. It was very quiet when we arrived but there was still a lovely atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and professional, the food was fantastic - the chocolate fondant was a particular hit and a lovely surprise of petit fours at the end of the meal. The Open Table menu was really good value. Would highly recommend!
Do you remember the 80's - when you earned too much and enjoyed too much? Then you probably remember going to L'Escargot and spending someone else's money on the best things in life. It was a trip down memory lane for me - oh but what memories!
Lovely food. Good service and extremely friendly staff. Not far from Palace Theatre so was able to take in Harry Potter parts 1 & 2 with a brilliantly relaxed meal in between.
