Beautiful clean. Adam the co-owner was very friendly. Food was all locally sourced and fresh. Best steak I have ever eaten. Over all 10 out of 10. Will definitely be back and spread the word to others
We booked this last minute for 5 people and this was no problem. Food was great, service also could not be faulted and the owner came over for a chat before we left. Nice modern, lively bistro with a nice atmosphere.
Food Was amazing i had the pan fried hake which was ample served with baby veg and a pototoe gratan the sauce was out of this world.
my friend had the belly pork and again was ample him.
desserts limited but still very good
and enjoyed all the gins i think i counteed 15 or 16
Location is tricky, the lift was turned off and my nan had to walk down the stairs. Not a very nice part of town either. Nan enjoyed her food. My food was nice, the burger could have been a bit more meaty, it had a very processed texture to it. Lots of things came with the burger, but hardly anything came with the hake.
Had lunch here for an early Mother’s Day treat we had the cod and chips special which was excellent along with the curry and all the trimmings the food was excellent and nicely presented accompanied by a nice bottle of wine?
Staff friendly and a nice atmosphere we will be returning to try on of their evening events a very nice family owned and run establishment,well worth supporting.

Haven't been before so thought I would try it for date night with the misses was cosy and very clean and also looked the part. The best but for me was that when I ordered the steak the chef came out and gave me a choice of 2 types of fillet that he had in and also how I wanted it cooked and reassured me it would be rare not medium rare like most places I go and the food was amazing. Had a good choice of drinks which even included my favourite dead man's finger rum which i have only ever seen in one other establishment. 5 star to this place I will be returning again
The restaurant was empty, not a good sign, there was a distinct lack of choice for starters or mains, due to a really busy lunch that day, ordered starters, only not to get them because the chef forgot to do them. Only one choice of lager because the other had run out, meal was well presented and cooked well, but didn't have a dessert because there was a choice of two only, no offer of cheese and biscuits or coffee, so paid and left, disappointed
Came in for a quick buisness meeting for a coffee great to get free wifi also had a spot of tapas service and food great
Came in for friends birthday breakfast. Breakfast was amazing and staff were very good and attentive.
booked a last minute table was made tro fell welcome and shown to our table.
we all had breakfast pancakes were to die for as was the scammbled egg with smoked salmon
