LIMA CANTINA is born out of a desire to bring the soul of LIMA to London: its flavoursome daily life, with simple dishes directly inspired by markets & home cooked meals. The restaurant’s chefs use traditional cooking methods to transform quality UK and Peruvian sourced ingredients into mouth-watering dishes. The menu delivers classics such as Pollo a la Brasa (arguably the national dish of Peru and possibly the best roast chicken you’ve ever had), whilst retaining signature Ceviches and Pisco Sours, and many more Lima locals’ favourites. Portion sizes very small. Presentation partly made up for it - and plates were nice. Hair found in the donut dessert batter. Water not topped up at any point; left thirsty. Spent £60 pp having only one beer and left hungry. 😢

The food was very good. As a Peruvian I would call the food Peruvian Inspired but not Peruvian as some dishes are not Peruvian at all or they are distant variations. Still, the quality and presentation of the food is great. The pisco sours are amazing! Service was good until around 10.15pm when we started feeling like they wanted to kick us out as soon as possible. Value is about right for what you would expect in Central London. Overall 4 out of 5 experience.

Our waitresses were outstanding and the guys at the bar prepared us great cocktails!(They make an incredible pisco sour).We were celebrating our anniversary and even though we didn't order a dessert because we were stuffed the team prepared us a beautiful dessert to wish us happy anniversary! So thoughtful and sweet, we'll be back! Food is on another level compared to other Peruvian restaurants in London, thank you! Mel&Harry
