The exciting flavours created by Head Chef, Robert Ortiz and Virgilio Martinez (Executive Chef and ranked #5 in the World 50 Best List and #1 in Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants list) have won us many happy customers. And while our diners are most important, we have had many favourable reviews from critics (“An almost unimprovable meal” – Matthew Norman, The Daily Telegraph) and numerous industry awards.
Lima London was first awarded a Michelin star in 2013 – the first and only Peruvian restaurant to achieve this.

Came here for our annivesary. They gave us a free champagne each.
The main course was very late (almost an hour after starters). I think they misplaced the order which after being reminded a few times, they apologised and gave us a discount and free dessert for - so overall a good experience. If they hadn't done that the review would be very different. They've made a mistake which happens on busy nights and made up for this. The service was quite good. The food is a 4/5 for me.
Good ambiance and a good change in the usual dining out cuisine.
The food is AMAZING! So fresh, full of flavours and so beautifully presented. We had the £25 set lunch and it was great. The cocktails were fabulous and so good to look at. Staff were friendly but not very chatty, we asked questions about the food but our waiter wasn’t very forthcoming so a warmer touch of hospitality would give this 5 stars. We were the only diners in there apart from 1 other table so ambiance was t really there but I am sure when it’s busier it’s good atmosphere. Just go and enjoy the stunning food, it is well worth it!
I had such a lovely time at Lima. The food was delicious, the presentation was spot on and the service and atmosphere were great.
Love love love Peruvian food and Lima knows how to put the best dishes on a plate!
Everything was perfect from start to finish. The Pisco Sours are to die for - we had a lovely time
Really good experience! Staff was friendly and food was amazing!
Really interesting and good quality food and service. Amazing bottle of Peruvian Malbec! One dish was slightly too spicy but the Ceviche was superb!
Over all good but there was two people by the bathroom not eating working on stuff on wearing a mask!
Amazing food. Every course was a delight, really fresh and zingy flavours
We did the 3 courses for £20 which was incredible value for money and the food is amazing. I've been 3 times in the last 6wks now and had the special and tasting menus. I can't recommend this unpretentious but wonderful restaurant highly enough. Definitely a new favourite.
Lovely dinner at Lima, the food and cocktails were amazing as always! :)
The first time to visit. The £20 course option is ridiculously cheap, how can that work for them? Anyway, for us the flavours worked well as did the pisco sours! 👊🏼
Excellent ingredients, tasty dishes, knowledgeable staff. Very enjoyable dinner right off Oxford Street.
The restaurant was beautiful, the kitchen was visible from our table by the window so we could see the preparation and the cooking, the hospitality and service was impeccable, and the food was beautifully presented, but more importantly, delicious and different. Sea bream ceviche, tuna causa, bavette pachamanca and hake escabeche were faultless. Pisco sours, the Bolivar and the warm Peruvian bread rolls also deserve a special mention. It was a thoroughly enjoyable Saturday lunch, despite London being painfully quiet in the midst of Tier 2 restrictions. The thumbs up and the wave from the chefs as we left the restaurant sent us off with a smile, and we will be back as soon as we can.
Excellent value brunch menu. Food was excellent. It was a bit quiet but that is to be expected for an early lunch in the current situation. We will definitely go back!
In compare with the prices the restaurant is very normal and the tables ans chairs are not 5 star.
I missed Peruviana food, was nice to get reacquainted with it at this fab establishment
The food was superb, good and courteous service, good location.
As a first time it was perfect, a a lovely introduction to Peruvian cuisine. Excellent value for money in the offer of the 3 course meal up to midweek, delightful.
It was my girlfriends birthday and we were really delighted with the whole experience. We had the tasting menu which was exquisite, and the service was equally top notch. One tiny point would be that the music was quite loud (admittedly it was a Friday night) but other than that I couldn’t recommend this more highly. Will definitely be returning again.
The Peruvian Experience dinner menu is an excellent way to taste the wide range of dishes that Lima offers. Recommended!
It was nice, the gin bramble cocktail was delicious but the food was pretty average. There are better South American joints around.
Great food and good quality wines on offer in a nice setting
Good Peruvian food, service was prompt and professional, good wine
Fantastic food, as always and attentive (but not over the top) service. We had a great evening despite the 10pm curfew!
Really outstanding food that looked visually very impressive and tasted great too!
fantatic food and great service. not be best ambience and our table was not great.
First visit to Lima and we took advantage of their 3 course set menu for £20. What a deal - fabulous food, excellent quality and we've already told multiple friends and work mates to visit.
Often you feel that set menus are lessor quality, but not this one, the meal was tasty, and really unique given the inspiration from Peru. Portion sizes perfect.
Friendly service, albeit I'd prefer the team to be wearing face masks and not directly handling cutlery in these crazy (covid) days.
Overall, fabulous value with the set menu and a high quality dining experience.
It was a shame, we went there last year and we loved it, so after lockdown we booked to repeat the experience.
However, it was a disappointing experience we ordered the Peruvian Experience and it was a 7 courses tasting manu including 4 types of ceviche so with the amazing variety of food in Peru they could have more imagination. The best dish the lamb and something totally nonsense the cereals we were trying to find the sense of that but couldn't find it, probably a conector between the ingredients was missing. The final a chocolate mouse very poor I have got betters in waitrose.
The service was friendly and attentive as usual, but unfortunately I feel they have lost a customer that they won last year, with a delightful and clever menu..
Great food, attentive service and excellent value. Cerviche and tuna fantastic. Firmly on my list of favourites.
Excellent food and staff. Highly recommend to order the main course potato dish as a side dish - you won't be disappointed and goes well with any other main orders.
The food is fine and Ceviches are delicious, but not Micheline standard.
I found the atmosphere and service cold , not like a Latin American, or Peruvian place.
I hadn’t been for a few years - I now regret not having been for so long. It was fantastic and amazing value for money. The staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. I will definitely be back soon.
Lovely presentation for food. Nice little restaurant good for small group.
Excellent. Instantly transported back to Lima. Loved every mouthful. Piscos are also excellent.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing everything!!!!! We are coming back for sure, pure flavour and nice people, new favourite place!!
Superb, innovative food - meal was top draw. Michelin star food served in a friendly, informal setting - highly recommend.
It’s great to be able to dine again at Lima, the food and service remains very good as it was before the lockdown
Quite dissapointed with this restaurant. Very small portions, can't even call it adult portions.
You would expect to feel satisfied for an expensive starters and main course.
The whole dining experience wasn't what I was expecting
Fabulous! The food was different, I loved trying the new flavours.
Deliciously authentic Peruvian food, well presented and courteously served. Airy and spacious room with sunlight streaming through the high rooflight. Will definitely go again.
