Limoncello Ristorante Pizzeria
Late booking in the heart of tourist London. Good choice, very friendly and efficient staff. Good traditional Italian menu
We booked a table for between shows of the cursed child at the palace theatre. We arrived early but our table was ready. The staff were friendly, and we soon ordered . The food was very good and tasty. Pudding was good. Very reasonably priced and good selection.
I made a last-minute reservation for a large group (20!), and the could not have been more lovely. Food, service, and prices were all great.
Food was really excellent and the service was pretty good, especially for the location. I would definitely return, a real find and my new pre theatre restaurant!!
Booked to go to this restaurant, got confirmation, turned up 5 minutes earlier to be told that they didn’t have any space for my party. They blamed open table for booking the table even though they didn’t have space. We weren’t allocated any table and had to find another restaurant for food. Poor service.
Great location in Central London and good value. We were a party of pre-London Marathon runners so needed a carb meal. Exactly what we were looking for. Booked for 6.30pm but got onto the table at 6.45pm. Not the restaurant's fault, they had to wait for an adjoining table to become free. Would definitely recommend.
Big family gathering
Our dinner at Limoncello was delicious and well attended by friendly staff. I was here to have a pre-London Marathon carb dinner and it worked out great. When crowded, the space is very small and noisy but most restaurants in Soho are like this, so really not a problem. Their menu is big and varied and offered many choices including delicious desserts. I recommend Limoncello for delicious Italian in the Soho District.
The food was quick and I can’t fault the efficiency of the service but there was nothing special about it - unsmiling waitresses, so so food.. awful desert, which is a shame as it was a special day out in London. There was no warmth to the atmosphere.
Booked a table here for a Sunday between part one and two of the Harry Potter plays which is just around the corner. The food was great and the service was excellent. We had a lovely time.
Amazing restaurant always love to come back ! Amazing food and amazing staff making the LGBTQ community very welcome !
The restsurant was nice and warm, there was a friendly waiter and tasty food. All good!
Restaurant was closed for a private party despite being able to book on open table
Booked this restaurant 3 weeks prior to visit as a treat for my Son and his girlfriend as they were at the theatre. Less than 24 hrs before the trip the restaurant called to say there were not opening. Very disappointed, unacceptable to be cancelled the day before left being unable to book elsewhere at short notice
At short notice we needed a table for 13 during the holiday period and Limoncello managed to fit us in. On the whole the visit was good, although those of us who went for non-pizza options were a bit disappointed by the chicken.
Amazing Italian food with a great atmosphere!
Terrible. Turned up for our reservation only to be told it was cancelled without any email. It was pouring rain and we ran to the restaurant. Apparently open table should have informed us. Very rude patron. We were shocked. Thankfully found a lovely tapas restaurant nearby. So worked out. However I would not book here after the treatment we recieved.
What a great place!!
A group of 10 of us visited on a Friday evening before going out and about and we weren't disappointed. The food was fantastic and there was a varied choice, the location was spot on but most of all the staff were amazing, they were all fun and engaging and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again when in London.
Our family had an amazing time at this little restaurant. The food was so delicious and authentic italian. Love this quaint restaurant in an lovely an lively neighborhood of London.
Our first visit and it was great. I was worried about mixed reviews, particularly those reporting rudeness. However, food was tasty and there was more than enough, service was friendly and they were patient with us struggling to choose dishes. I had expected we might be 'encouraged' to leave as soon as we finished, seeing it so busy - pre-theatre time on Saturday - but we got to sit as long as we wanted. Two courses, drinks, bread and coffees for £20 a head. Pretty impressive! We will definitely return!
Beautiful food and amazing service. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to returning.
Very near the theatre so it was very convenient. The food was good, and they were reasonably priced.
Atmosphere and place is nice, but food is not tasty at all... order pizza, taste like frozen one! I couldn’t recommend to someone else..
Between shows of Harry Potter
Authentic Italian food in a peaceful setting, yet with the hustle and bustle of theatre land just nearby.
We went to Limoncello last Saturday lunchtime, pre-theatre. We were a family of 5 with children aged 10, 7 & 5 and were made to feel very welcome by the owner. Calamari and bruschetta starters were delicious, as were the various pizzas we ordered for main course, all washed down with a bottle of the house white. Would definitely eat here again. Grazie!
This restaurant is just across from a hotel whetre I stay often. The place was fairly empty, and when I saw the food displayed, I understood why. Before I sat down, I asked if they had WiFi. They said yes, so I proceeded to sit and look at the menu. Very unappetising. And then, the Wifi didn't work. They were rude rather than apologetic, assking if I came to eat or be on my phone!! I got up and left.
We popped in during the afternoon between seeing the Harry Potter plays. Food very good as was the service. We had both a main course and puddings. Portion sizes are good too.
There were two adults and a teenager in our party.
Families catered for
This was our second time at Limocello, we received the same attentive and speedy service, which is what made us decide to return as it's ideal for a pre-theatre meal. The wine list is good and affordable, and so is the Aperol Spritzer. We will be back!
We visited limoncello a couple of years ago and enjoyed the food and ambiance we decided to try it again. Much more busy this time round but the food and wine was still as good second time round.
Service was horrible - ignored us for most of the times and while serving was arrogant and unfriendly. We had a scampi rice dish and a meat dish also with rice as well as calamari as a starter and some dessert. Rice was over cooked, scampi were not identifiable and gave me some stomach ache afterwards and also the desserts and starter were not really tasty. The only nice thing was that it was cheap. We definitely never go there again and I also would not recommend this place to anyone.
An amazing Soho restaurant. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. I highly recommended this place for dinner.
Food was mediocre, wine list was poor, particularly wine by the glass.
My daughter wanted simple, authentic Italian food in Soho (or somewhere similarly lively) and Limincello fitted the bill perfectly. The food was fine - simple fare, as expected. Good food, with good, attentive service made this excellent value for money and as near a perfect occasion as we could have hoped for.
