Lisa's Kitchen & Bar
A meal where ingredients are carefully selected from our own Scandinavian pantry and dictated by the four distinct seasons that Sweden has to offer.
Rustic courses, prepared with a modern simplicity.

Bit underwhelming. Service was pretty slow (required quite a lot of prompting) and food was just ok. Lunch options were v pricey compared to the breakfast menu for very similar size/quality dishes.
Very noisy music and full of rowdy/drunk guys.
Great music and service, danced all night. Had a great time, as always!
Fantastic night here! Food was tasty, service very friendly and attentive, and the cocktails strong! The live band was a lovely surprise and a great touch. Will definitely be back!
Amazing place with great food and ambiance
Left disappointed when we were rudely asked to vacate our table ahead of agreed time. An abrupt end to a good night. We left feeling a bit shell shocked.
Great Friday night - singer/guitar then some great tunes. Very chilled out. We’ll be back later in the year.
Very lovely place and the staff is very sweet and friendly. One major issue though is that you don't have one wait staff attending your table which would be fine except during the course of dinner you are asked almost on a constant basis by several different people how things are on repeat. Basically only a few minutes would pass before another person would ask "how is your meal?" Or "How is your drink?" I counted 5 different people that attended our table. It made conversation with my fellow dinner very very disruptive and also made it seem like they were rushing us to turn tables. They were very nice about it but just not the best to spend your whole dining experience saying "yes, very good thanks" every few minutes.
Good atmosphere, good service, great cocktails but the food was overpriced and average.
Wonderful valentines but will come back for date nights. £100 for two.
Loved everything about Lisa’s. Nice vibe and the noise wasn’t too bad, perfect for Dinner where you have loads to discuss, as you can actually hear each other 😉
Food was great and the service delightful.
I went 2 Saturdays in a row and last night the food was cold, tasteless and the mussels were not fresh.
I was a bit disappointed.
It’s usually a place that combines good food and a good ambiance, but yesterday it was just about the ambiance unfortunately.
They don’t know how to make scrambled eggs.
so dependable for good vibes all in all - time disappears like sand in the hand
Superb customer service, food was delicious. Cannot fault this place at all. Highly recommended!!
Gorgeous food, great service. The stool seating near the bar was a little uncomfortable and tight for dinner for four and the live music which started at around 8.30, although lovely, it was a little hard to talk over and hear what each other was saying. Having said that I would definitely go back.
The portion sizes were ridiculously small for brunch, and it was not value for money - even for London. Do not recommend.
Ambiance excellent, food is consistently good. Staff a bit all over the place - forgot orders, charged for 3 more cocktails than ordered and barely apologised when pointed out. Have been coming for some time and feel that service gets worse over time which doesn’t quite match price point - even in a London context. Otherwise a nice little restaurant/bar
I’ve been to Lisa’s twice. It’s a fun place but both times the over priced food has not been great. This time I had the tuna and it was off (tasted very “fishy” and not fresh) with vegetables that were over cooked and over seasoned. On the last occasion I went, I was in a group of 4 and my main course never even arrived! My advice - go to the bar and enjoy the music and atmosphere but eat elsewhere beforehand
"One of the best Swedish restaurants in London" according to my Swedish friend.
Lovely atmosphere, great food, great staff.
As always at Lisa's I had a lovely time. The candle lighting, great food, and live music all made it a wonderful evening.
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, great music. Highly recommended
Such a cool and great place. A hidden gem really. To be honest I was thinking to skip going there because the area is not the “prettiest” one. But got wowed.
As a tourists we order number of things they suggested and everything was delicious. And we are picky when it comes to food.
Drinks with herrings are great too.
In addition to food and drinks, service was simply fantastic.
Two thumps up. Would go back anytime.
Always a pleasure to go to Lisa’s, I recommend to all my clients!
Found this restaurant by accident when going to nearby event and really enjoyed a quick meal sitting outside. Returned for early dinner inside and left before the live music started. Efficient, simple food served very well and great staff. Will definitely return.
Food and kitchen have gone seriously downhill after Lisa sold out. Hardly Scandinavian at all.
Fun date night
amazing find in Notting Hill ! Great food and fun atmosphere with live music
Great food and super friendly staff. Inside can get very loud though, so don't pick this place if you want a quiet conversation (but you can sit outside where it is quieter and where they give you blankets if it gets chilly).
It was so much fun! Value for money regarding the price and the ambiance with the band was amazing!
Very nice and cozy place.
The music was loud , so it is not really the place to catch up but more to listen nice music and dance
I enjoyed a lovely evening with my son, good food, good wines and the personnel is very friendly!

Being Swedish its always GREAT to find a place that serves heart good old Swedish food! HOWEVER... as tasty it was... we were all very shocked of the prices! £17.50 for the Swedish meatballs... it was only 5 of them!!! come on... dont take the Mickey ... the portions are very small... and as much as I would love to be coming back on regular basis... and living local as well.. sadly I won't be coming back that often with those prices for the amount of food that is served.. It just won't fill me up.. The Pytt I Wanna that I had was prices at £12.50 which is more what I expected for the meatballs as well to be.. but again... it was just on the small side of a portion..
Absolutely love love Lisa’s. Great buzz, fantastic staff, interesting food and music is always spot on!
We enjoyed our brunch at Lisa’s. Perfectly poached eggs on just cooked spinach, all sitting on tasty sourdough. Service was friendly, if a little distracted at times. Heating in the glazed area wasn’t quite up to the job. It was a freezing day and we’d like to have been warmer!
A local favourite with good food, great cocktails and a lively atmosphere with danceable live music on the weekends
Love this place. Great food, cracking music, and top service.
Very cozy brunch and dinner spot in the middle of Portobello Road. Delicious food and the ambience is also very pretty!
The icing on the cake was the awesome 80s playlist that was playing :)
Lisa's is a lovely place for drinks or dinner. The live band and its talented singer set a great atmosphere. The service is good but not outstanding. The food was the not-so-great part for me. I had mussels as a starter and cod as a main. The main was plain, with not much flavour going on, it looks like everything was boiled (not only the potato). I would probably go back for drinks and nibbles rather than dinner.
