As always at Lisa's I had a lovely time. The candle lighting, great food, and live music all made it a wonderful evening.
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, great music. Highly recommended
Such a cool and great place. A hidden gem really. To be honest I was thinking to skip going there because the area is not the “prettiest” one. But got wowed.
As a tourists we order number of things they suggested and everything was delicious. And we are picky when it comes to food.
Drinks with herrings are great too.
In addition to food and drinks, service was simply fantastic.
Two thumps up. Would go back anytime.
Always a pleasure to go to Lisa’s, I recommend to all my clients!
Found this restaurant by accident when going to nearby event and really enjoyed a quick meal sitting outside. Returned for early dinner inside and left before the live music started. Efficient, simple food served very well and great staff. Will definitely return.
Food and kitchen have gone seriously downhill after Lisa sold out. Hardly Scandinavian at all.
Fun date night
amazing find in Notting Hill ! Great food and fun atmosphere with live music
Great food and super friendly staff. Inside can get very loud though, so don't pick this place if you want a quiet conversation (but you can sit outside where it is quieter and where they give you blankets if it gets chilly).
It was so much fun! Value for money regarding the price and the ambiance with the band was amazing!
Very nice and cozy place.
The music was loud , so it is not really the place to catch up but more to listen nice music and dance
I enjoyed a lovely evening with my son, good food, good wines and the personnel is very friendly!

Being Swedish its always GREAT to find a place that serves heart good old Swedish food! HOWEVER... as tasty it was... we were all very shocked of the prices! £17.50 for the Swedish meatballs... it was only 5 of them!!! come on... dont take the Mickey ... the portions are very small... and as much as I would love to be coming back on regular basis... and living local as well.. sadly I won't be coming back that often with those prices for the amount of food that is served.. It just won't fill me up.. The Pytt I Wanna that I had was prices at £12.50 which is more what I expected for the meatballs as well to be.. but again... it was just on the small side of a portion..
Absolutely love love Lisa’s. Great buzz, fantastic staff, interesting food and music is always spot on!
We enjoyed our brunch at Lisa’s. Perfectly poached eggs on just cooked spinach, all sitting on tasty sourdough. Service was friendly, if a little distracted at times. Heating in the glazed area wasn’t quite up to the job. It was a freezing day and we’d like to have been warmer!
A local favourite with good food, great cocktails and a lively atmosphere with danceable live music on the weekends
Love this place. Great food, cracking music, and top service.
Very cozy brunch and dinner spot in the middle of Portobello Road. Delicious food and the ambience is also very pretty!
The icing on the cake was the awesome 80s playlist that was playing :)
Lisa's is a lovely place for drinks or dinner. The live band and its talented singer set a great atmosphere. The service is good but not outstanding. The food was the not-so-great part for me. I had mussels as a starter and cod as a main. The main was plain, with not much flavour going on, it looks like everything was boiled (not only the potato). I would probably go back for drinks and nibbles rather than dinner.
I have been to Lisa’s a few times over the years and always had the same experience. The positive: the food is really good and representative of Swedish cuisine.
Sadly the service really lets this place down. The problem is not understaffing- there are lots of them on hand. But service is slow, chaotic and borderline blasé. We had to keep flagging staff down. We had to ask for cutlery for out mains but were brought a card machine as they thought we were leaving. All of this while a band is setting up next to us, leaning their instruments on our seats.
Also Lisa’s is expensive. Make no mistake - two ladles of mash and 5 meatballs should really not be closed to 20 pounds.
As lovely as the food is I will not be in a hurry to return.
Lovely atmosphere with delicious food. It is quite pricey though.
Beautiful place. friendly staff, excellent food. It was very cold in the room so I would have been more relaxed if the heat was on. I imagine in the warmer weather it is great!
Service was so bad - we waited 45mins for our drinks and when they didn't come decided it wasn't worth waiting for dinner and just left. Waiters very frazzled before it even got that busy
A local favourite - every neighborhood needs a Lisa's!
An amazing place to have fun with your friends, the food is so nice and there was life music.
As always we had an amazing time! Thank you V for looking after us!
It was a great brunch with the healthy full swedish as breakfast choice. The only bummer was the temperature in the place it was just too cold! Shame as it can be great if only the heating would be turned on!
Fun, friendly and delicious just a little squished
Very pleasant evening however was marred somewhat by a confusion with my booking. The restaurant called me on ONE occasion the day before my booking to confirm and I missed the call completely. The next day I then got an email saying my booking was cancelled. I called them immediately to say that I did not want to cancel my booking. Upon being on the phone they told me they had been trying to get hold of me on a number of occasions ,which is not true (I had one missed phone call and voicemail); but luckily as I'd called they would put the booking back in. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were put a tiny bar table right next to the band and when we asked to be moved it was made clear because I hadn't confirmed my booking I had lost my table. We were kindly moved. My gripe is that its not really industry practice to cancel tables just because you can't get hold of them on one occasion. People are working or even travelling and phone calls can be missed. I work in restaurants so I do understand how fickle people can be with booking tables and no shows are a common problem but you can't just cancel someones reservation because on one occasion you can't get hold of them. I understand if you wish to have a policy where you cancel peoples reservations so easily then that is entirely up to you but considering I had made the reservation weeks before and had every sincere intention of turning up to it and also followed up when I realized I had missed the call it was disappointing .
Delicious food, fun atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will be going back to Lisa's for sure!
Wonderful dinner with good friends - sitting outside with cosy blankets under the heater. Lisa's staff were lovely and accommodating!
Jazz music great but food very expensive for what it was. Good to have the Swedish options but some strange non-Scandinavian options also there .
Lovely visit...we took guests and sat on the outdoor patio...loads of fun and the food is scrumptious!
This is a favourite local restaurant. The food was excellent as always and the service was friendly and attentive. Possibly a Friday night was not quite the right choice for a catch up with an old friend. We liked the music and the ambience but by 10 o'clock we had to shout at each other to be heard.
Best night in a long time! Food and music superb! Brought friends new to London and they absolutely loved it also
Having just come back from Stockholm my girlfriend was desperate for Swedish meatballs. Wasn't disappointed. I had the halibut which was fantastic. Good size portions, friendly attentive service. Will no doubt go here again.
Brilliant little buzzy restaurant where the food is ace and the service is exellent. We were there on a Friday night and the house band were brilliant.
Had high expectations based on other reviews. Unfortunately it's completely overpriced, the food was just OK, seating was very uncomfortable (loose chair, loose table), the service wasn't too bad.
Lovely atmosphere and staff but the food was pricey, even for notting hill standards.
