Food and service great. Restaurant was so loud we could no way hear each other. Used to be one of our favorites. No more. Never again. Too bad.
We thought we'd made a reservation in the Pub. Not so, but in a separate part of the hotel. This could have been made clearer during the reservation process. The hostess not particularly welcoming. The server was very pleasant and helpful. Food was mediocre. Fries even though freshly cut, dark brown. Didn't eat. Cornish Pastie came with dried baked florets of cauliflower - unappetising!
As we left, one of three people talking behind the front desk wished us an uncaring 'Goodbye' and carried on chatting. A beautiful pub, that seems to have lost its edge.
Really nice experience. Highly recommend for any occasion.
LS is a comfortable place to sample pub food. It is not known for gourmet options. The menu is basic, but there is some variety among the offerings.
The check in was smooth, sat us immediately. We ate in the remodeled dining room near the bar area room. They were able accommodate 13 of us celebrating birthdays in 2 tables close by. All tables are separated with glass partitions and good amount apart. Server came right away and got our drinks. We all ordered different items and they came out within 30 minutes which is amazing based on our group size. All the meals were hot, anyone who did not finish took theirs home. We had crab cakes, fish and chips, skirt steak, prime rib, Turkey chili, pork schnitzel, and honey chipotle wings. Everyone raved about all their meals. This is a great place for food and ambiance. We normally eat on the Bulls head side, the Restaurant side was nice for our larger group and extended menu items like the prime rib and pork schnitzel.
We had a wonderful lunch Saturday afternoon. The crab cake was amazing! Our server was extremely friendly and attentive.
Great food and atmosphere!
Excellent for, wonderful service. Chicken and leek pie is delicious, my husband has the bangers and mash, very good. Great service, great food, highly recommend.
Great food and great service from Bryan our server.
Its an English Style Sunday Roast that I go there for: Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding and roasted veggies. Just like home... Worth every trip!
The food was delicious, the atmosphere beautiful, and the waiter could not have been nicer. The shepherd’s pie was fantastic. Will be ready to go again soon.
wonderful food and service
Excellent food and service! We would definitely go back
Went for a quick girls night out, we had never been here and were delightfully pleased with the experience. The drink menu and regular menu had many delicious options to choose from. And the highlight for us was the desserts, some of the best we had ever had! The Sticky Toffee Pudding was absolute delish. Also the staff was great and service was quick.
fantastic brussles sprouts. A very lively group of teens. I appreciated the air flow barriers.
We have been enjoying this restaurant through so many of its changes. Their evolution has been a great asset for the town and helps bring visitors to Lititz.
It was very pleasant! Would go again
Our waiter was very good and helpful. Our dinner was excellent
We sat at a high top table near the bar in the dining room. Tables had plexiglass protection to the aisle of the dining room which was appreciated. The food was great (particularly the fried pickles and Brie grilled cheese) as well as the service. Our table was ready earlier than our reservation. We would definitely eat here again when in the area.
Awesome food. Great place.
We were very please with Lititz Springs. They were attentive but did not rush us, the food was very good, and it was a nice ambience for a night out.
Food, Atmosphere, & Staff were all great. The social distancing & the way it was laid out was great, Felt safe & comfortable.
Was very cold inside the restaurant
It was the perfect place to go for a valentine dinner. The drinks were amazing, wilson service was great, and wonderful ambience. must visit
We always receive great service when we visit! Can’t wait to come back.
Wonderful afternoon apps and drinks for Valentine’s Day ❤️
Food was unique. Tasteful but a little to unique for my taste.
Great lunch , service top notch , food outstanding, atmosphere very nice
Excellent service and food ! We will definitely go back .
Very covid spaced tables. Food was good . My husband said best steak he had in a long time. My seafood pasta entree was really good too. Only complaint was the fondue selections. Apples sliced too thin, pretzels should of been soft, not hard. Dessert,, Limenocillo cake was so yummy!
Our server was very good and polite and accomodating
The food was great. It was nice to have an option of the pub or dining menu. The burger is awesome. For some reason the tables are oddly small for 4 people. I wish it was still called the general sutter inn.
Good and interesting restaurant. Lots of pub fare. Scotch egg is a treat. Duck confit with Brie grilled cheese is super interesting. Tomato soup is excellent.
Food as always was fantastic, our server was very quick to refill drinks, and clear dishes. so looking forward to the removal of masks by servers. It really can be difficult to understand speech.
Great service and meal. They are compliant with COVID regulations!
Waiter did not know menu at all. Was fairly brash with us. Other than that, the food and drink was wonderful.
Loved it! Would suggest making a reservation in the dining room if you want a quieter experience. The pub is a bit loud and doesn’t have the same feel
The variety of rooms and seating areas were great depending on any atmosphere you may want. The menu selection looked great and we were excited to try the food. Unfortunately, our waiter was not the most attentive guy. He left appetizer plates and dinner plates on our table even after ordering desserts. He wore black gloves entire time even as he was the bartender. I was not impressed that he did not change the gloves at all the full three hours we were there in his presence. We kept saying how people who seem to wear gloves think they can touch everything but how unsafe or "dirty" their hands seem when touching everything they give us.
The two people who ordered the tomato bisque at our table said it was just as awful as it looked. It was lumpy sauce from a jar (not at all a soup). It was burnt which made it darker than it should have appeared and had 3 croutons and 2 shredded pieces of cheese on top. After one taste, both cups sat there full in middle of table untouched.
The $27 salmon dish was the tiniest piece of salmon with very dry sides....not a drizzle of anything to give the dish any flavor. The six of us go out every weekend (no chain restaurants) and I have to say, this dish was very disappointing compared to the rest of the salmon dishes all over Lancaster County..especially for the price!
The people who ordered dessert finally said..."We are never coming back." The petite size lava cake was on harder side without any moist lava and the toffee pudding was the size of a half business card size brownie for over $7...tasted good but just ridiculous! If a male had ordered the soup, salmon and toffee dessert, they would have left hungry after paying over $40 without a beverage.
Such a shame...we looked forward to trying this place every time we visit Lititz. It was truly a letdown and none of us would be convinced to try it again later since the service, serving size, and most importantly...basic soup couldn't be executed correctly.
We love the bar! The bartender is awesome and always makes us feel welcome! He remembers what we drink before we even make it to our table! It’s our go to place!
Perfect as always 🥰
It’s our favorite place to go
