As authentic as if I were back to Extremadura. Would definitely recommend!
The food is delicious and worth the price. The dishes come in good portion and some considering big, so please bear in mind before ordering many. Highly recommended!
Food quite average, not very authentic in taste. Wouldn’t return
Amazing staff and food, very nicely decorated ;)
Good menu selection (scanned via QR code) with reasonable prices and portions for tapas.
Service wasn't bad and tables were adequately distanced despite being a small restaurant but not sure about the counter tops.
The front and back doors were both open which created a strong draught with it being very windy that evening. Helps with the airflow but it was so cold we couldn't take our jackets off.
Was excited to try out this local tapas place especially using the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. Small interior that feels more like an Ikea showroom than restaurant - very DIY feeling. We shared 4 items - meat & cheese tray, oxtail croquettes, garlic shrimp, salt cod. All were rather tasty - though the croquettes totally lacking in presentation. Service was average - staff seemed a bit amateurish and uninformed. Overall it was OK but not great. Wouldn't necessarily rush back especially paying full price.
Lively, friendly atmosphere and amazing meats and cheeses
Lovely food and service as ever. Menus only available electronically, which was a minor inconvenience. Looking forward to our next visit.
Good food and service in a week located restaurant on Upper Street
Food in here tastes like home. I am Spanish and I have no doubt I will come back. Croquetas are tasty, bacalao dorado is excelent!
I wanted to love this place because it looks cool from the outside, but it was in line with what other reviewers said... fairly mediocre. Nothing we had was bad but nothing blew me away either.
Had a lovely meal last Friday with my date. I’d requested a table outside, which we were given, so we were on the table just out in front of the restaurant.
Had a nice bottle of house white, and all the typical tapas - padron peppers, potatas bravas, jamon were all excellent. Lovely waitress looked after us well helped us choose the best food!
Bill wasn’t cheap, but for the quality I would say fair value!
Very tasty food and friendly efficient service.
It's a nice restaurant but the cava was room temperature. Elements were missing from courses. Food was not properly heated.
On several occasions we had to flag this including the Tortilla. A very disappointing experience to what should have been a celebratory meal.
Not cheap or value for what we got.
Below below average place, food and ambiance were stale, cold, and very fatty. Wouldn’t go back.
Amazing - who could believe they were actually open and managing so well! Despite the staff needing to wear face masks, the atmosphere was still very convivial and cosy, welcoming and friendly. Lots of hand sanitiser in place, and you scanned the menu from QR codes on the table. Delicious wine accompanied by lovely sharing plates - a real treat post lockdown! Thank you so much to the wonderful staff - a real neighbourhood gem. xx
Having lived in Spain for four years my expectations were probably too high. The food is good and authentic enough but obviously very expensive compared to what you’d pay in Spain. Staff is really nice.
An authentic little tapas bar. Food was beautifully prepared and delicious . A real find
Food is nothing special - it’s just deep fried with sauce. Drinks and cocktails are great. Come here for the drinks and the vibe, not the food
Excellent food and service. Unfortunately was not told at time of booking that we would have to vacate table booked for 8.30 by 10pm. This was disappointing.
First time but will be repeated. Amazing food and wine list. Staff wonderful. Thank you each and everyone
Very nice everything!!! I like so much.
The food was very good, every dish was good quality, portions are reasonable too. They were short staffed and service suffered, one of our dishes didn't arrive. Wine starts around £28 which is too expensive. Only one men's toilet and no hand dryer/towel. I'd go again though, the food makes up for the shortfall in other areas.
This was a spontaneous booking for after a concert. We were welcomed though 10 minutes late (concert over-ran) and quickly seated. The place is fun, was busy and atmosphere lively, with people obviously having a good time - especially at the counter seats, which I should like to try another time. We liked the attentive staff; loved the meat and cheese platter that was our principal dish - the different farm meats were delicious along with the little bread sticks (crunchy and tasty). We also really enjoyed the octopus. With a couple of glasses or a tasty red wine and plenty of water our hunger was happily sated in under an hour. The table next to us was a bit lively, but having a great time, so we found it a tad noisy on this occasion but would happily return.
Value for money is not great
Incredibly delicious Spanish classics with very friendly staff. Design of the restaurant is the one thing that is a tad of a downside. Lamps at debatable height (right in line of sight) and flickering back lit walls. Don’t let that put you off tho - food is fantastic
Awesome place doing a modern take on tapas, food was really nice and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly, helpful and place is small but comfortable and has a really cool vibe. I would go back!
Great local and independent tapas although a bit pricey
Great food from Extremadura in the very southwest of Spain, especially great for their wines that are almost impossible to find. Also, super Ibérico pork cuts, aubergine fritters. Never been disappointed! And the service is excellent for such a casual place.
A lovely find with truly authentic spanish food. I will be returning!
How could we overlook this gem for 2 years? Having spent a great moment with lovely food and a very attentive service, we thought they had only just opened. I hope they stay around, we will definitely be back.
P.S. Try the special cheese, it's wonderful!
Loved it! Tapas and wine were fantastic, the service was more than fantastic. Happy we found this place and will be definitely back many more times
Modern décor, tables very close and excellent food, couple of dishes were outstanding
This is a lovely Spanish restaurant to relax in with friends and family. The meats and cheese that we ordered were delicious. We had a variety of drinks, including sherry, Spanish beers and wine. All the food and drink were excellent quality and served efficiently. The hosting is very welcoming. A nice experience overall.
First visit to Llerena having walked past it a few times. Lovely staff and delicious and unusual tapas. Yes there are the classics, but there are also some fun regional dishes that you wouldn't get at many places. The Bacalao Dorado was fabulous. We will be going back.
We are a Spanish family who went on Sunday to celebrate our dad’s birthday. We tried some Spanish restaurants in London and almost all of them were disappointed for us. But in Llerena everything was amazing and definitely we are going to come back soon
Good food but slow service. Bottle of the house red was £26 which is taking the mickey a bit. Won't be coming back.
Just for the amazing pig sculpture they have, I would give them 5 stars. But the food is also delicious. The Iberian pluma is one of the tastiest meats I've try. The service was attentive and correct. We will be back.
I've had much better Spanish tapas in several places in London - think Brindisa, Camino and Iberica. Yes, it was cheap (especially with 20% off food), but the best part of the meal was the churros and chocolate. Won't go back.
