Such a lovely bar. Every time we go we have impressive service, tasty snacks and delicious cocktails. On this visit I actually found my margarita a bit strong and the waiter happily adjusted it for me. They also brought me a little treat as it was my birthday, which was absolutely delicious.

We have to admit a bias: we love One Aldwych. We have been staying here and enjoying it for over a decade. So, when dearly loved out of town relations were in town for a few days, we were very happy to suggest that we meet for drinks in the afternoon. We booked a table in the bar and had a wonderful, relaxed session of cocktails and catching up. As usual, the people working there were exceptional and we enjoyed our time immensely. It’s a relaxing, sophisticated place. Thanks again!

My daughter and I yesterday visited the One Aldwych for lunch in the Lobby Bar prior to a matinee performance of Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre only a short distance away. My family and I have visited the One Aldwych for both afternoon tea and lunch on various occasions over the last few years for pre-theatre refreshments, all of which were extremely enjoyable experiences which we have looked back on fondly - and our most recent visit was no exception. Despite arriving early for our reservation, we were immediately seated and service was very quick and efficient from friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, and the food was absolutely delicious (we both had the One Aldwych Beef Burger with lovely bacon, Montgomery’s Cheddar Cheese and truffle mayonnaise followed by delightful Cornish Chocolate Mousse and mint choc chip ice cream). Whilst we have previously tended to opt for their fantastic alcoholic cocktails, on this occasion we both tried the Fizz Ripple Mocktail which was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Everywhere was immaculately clean - from the dining area to the lavatories. During every visit, the lovely, calming ambience has proved to be a welcome oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden. We cannot recommend the One Aldwych highly enough, and we will definitely be returning the next time that we are in London to see a show.

We loved our visit to the Lobby Bar at One Aldwych on Saturday. The ambience was special but not stuffy and the service was first class. We loved the scratch and sniff cocktail menu and all the cocktails themselves were delicious. It was perfect and we will definitely return.

The overall experience would have been much better and I would have appreciated the staff much better but … I ordered a bottle of Krug for 370£, we had half of it and asked the staff to keep the rest of it for the next day. And the next day I was shocked to see that the Champagne went completely flat - obviously the bottle was kept open overnight. I do it quite often and the Champagne is never like this on the second day - just wine and not Champagne anymore. So disappointing.

My friend and I had cocktails at the Lobby Bar at One Aldwych yesterday evening ahead of dining at their wonderful Indigo Restaurant. It was the perfect venue to kick-start an evening of celebrations. The cocktails were delicious and beautifully served with olives and nuts. The bar is very comfortable and elegant and the ambience fun and lively - the perfect place to be at cocktail hour on a Saturday evening. A lovely experience with excellent staff who were warm, welcoming, gracious and very courteous. Thank you to you all for looking after us so beautifully. See you again soon!

We were only in the bar for cocktails. Great selection of classics and unusual, all beautifully presented and delicious! Service is impeccable- really friendly and not snooty at all. It isn’t cheap but you are paying for the location and the attractive bar. We spent a lovely two hours there after visiting the fabulous Somerset House.

The only miscommunication was in the booking. The date changed twice in the reminders so I had to correct this to the 18th,but when we got to the restaurant, we were advised the restaurant is not open on Tuesdays. The saving grace was with the floor manager, who kindly allowed us to order from the lunch menu, which was amazing. Otherwise the 30th b day would have been stressful, as we would have had to find somewhere else to eat before the theatre

The only problem we had was that the chairs were too low. My husband is 6ft 5ins tall and found the seating uncomfortable. Other than that this was a great place to eat and unwind, the staff were so attentive, friendly and approachable and there was a fantastic energy.

Friendly and efficient service greeted us on arrival and continued throughout even to staff wishing us goodbyes as we left. The choice of cocktails was impressive and the four that we had were delicious. The mixed nuts and olives that were provided were really tasty and refilled kindly when we’d scoffed them all. Can’t wait to go back

Another really great experience in the Lobby Bar. I love the ambience here. The people who served us were welcoming, remembering we’d been before, friendly and accommodating, particularly when I spilled my glass of champagne!
