Really great value with good options. Great tapas place.
Brilliant find. Great friendly staff and amazing tapas. Quick service, good ambience and selection of dishes. Went with my partner on a Friday night. Definitely would go back. Meatballs, prawns, lamb and potatoes. The pudding was also divine!
Spectacular food and service. I wish we lived closer so I could eat there ever week.
Had a fun afternoon at Los Lobos with a party of 5, 2 of whom were celebrating birthdays. Staff were very attentive and helped us to order the right amount of tapas for our young/middle-aged group! Along with the 50% off food deal, which is great value, we enjoyed 2 tasty desserts, plus birthday candles, on the house! Would thoroughly recommend for lively groups and celebrations.
Dined on the 50% off deal which was brilliant value. The iberico ham was expertly carved by hand and the numerous other dishes were all fresh and very well cooked (including the secreto iberico pork & ribeye of beef - v good). Am going back for this deal...
The most exceptional tapas I've had in London and very authentic too. Great venue, menu and fantastic wine list. The quality of ingredients are obvious
Reasonable tapas. Nothing fancy. Good for a spur of the moment night out.
Everything was ok but no surprise.
Our main waitress was friendly and attentive but she seemed to be the only staff member who was that night! Which was a shame! Another waitress was rude and slammed plates on our table/walked away when we were asking to order more food.
Food was okay, nothing special. Drinks were good. Ambiance was non-existent.
The restaurant is well located in London's West End, a short walk from several theatres. The staff are very courteous and well able to guide you through ordering tapas as well as selecting appropriate wines. The food is really lovely. The ambience is good. One possible improvement is to put slightly more thought into their bathrooms. Other than that, a really good restaurant.
I booked a table of four on Friday 24th August 2018
It’s difficult to give a terrible review beacause the food was not terrible, but it was “ average “, nothing stood out as delicious or memorable or I must order more more more . yummy Yummy !!!
We couldn’t really send any food back on the grounds it was average . But people who dine out as frequently as I do will have come across this conundrum. I guess I will just follow what most of us Brits do !!
we don’t really complain we just silently voice our opinions , muttering under our breath as we leave the establishment, I’m not returning to that restaurant ( we’ll definitely the one in SoHo )
I first visited their Bermondsey restaurant on many occasions and I must admit the Food , atmosphere and service was always excellent. But I guess it’s like many restaurants when they expand the “ brand “ things go down hill . The soho branch lacks charm or cool atmosphere of the Original restaurant and the food in my opinion is not as good .
Amazing food and great service. Would highly recommend for real foodies who enjoy tapas style.
Good choice of tapas, lot's of different food. Good service located in a lively location. Recommended
Excellent tapas made by a Spanish team and you can tell it! Great service, friendly staff. Good time!
First visit to Lobos as it was near to theatres we were going to and seen good reviews on TA. Without doubt the best tasty tapas dishes we have ever eaten and we go to Spain a lot !. Nice rustic feel to the place and very friendly staff. Could not fault it at all, food was fab, bit expensive at full price but for lunch with the 50% discount worth every penny. Had the grilled vegetables, sticky black rice with prawns and alioli, iberico pork with mojo potatoes and braised lamb shoulder, all to die for and already planning to go back even though we are 200 miles away , thats how good it was, thanks guys.
Excellent service. Very helpful staff. Food good and varied. Would have liked some lighter tapas ie tomatoes with onions, sardines, more fish options, mixed salad (various with or without tuna as example).
Good value for money.
We enjoyed the food but had to ask to have our bill amended (twice) as almost £100 extra was added to it initially...
Came here for a Birthday party, we had two kids with us. Staff were excellent, the food was fabulous and I’m already looking for another excuse to go!
Amazing! The food is by far the best tapas I have had in London! The staff were amazing, friendly and very attentive and even treated us to a bottle of Cava as we were celebrating a birthday!
We had dinner with 3 friends and the food was lovely, very tasteful and fresh. A good amount of choice on the wine list as well. I would recommend.
The food was amazing! Make me feel like I was at home . The service very friendly and recommend us the specials. The chairs a bit uncomfortable but still okey for a tapas restaurant. Recommend for everyone! Good quality of food with nice price . Also the bread with aioli and tomato was delicious.
Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was amazing, very tasty and good portion size for Tapas. Wine very expensive but nice.
Would definitly go back again and have recommended.
Really good food and service. Price is good.
Excellent service from start to finish, food was excellent however the patatas bravas could have used some garlic aoili to make it perfect. We also had the croquetas, machengo and cocktails which were all delicious.
Went here Friday for lunch and can’t wait to go back. Lovely bottle of wine and probably the best tapas I’ve ever had. Very reasonable price wise also.
This place is great, food was delicious, atmosphere was fantastic and the staff cannot do enough for you.
Our visit to this restaurant exceeded all expectation, we had read the reviews prior to our visit all of which appeared to be very good but just how good we didn’t realise until our visit. From the moment we walked in the door the whole experience was perfect. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the ambience is great, this was a Thursday early evening post matinee meal but the restaurant was buzzing and gave us a great vibe of people enjoying themselves. The food was extremely tasty, we had a variety of dishes including Starters and main courses for sharing, we were asked whether we wanted all dishes together or staggered and opted for the latter, the dishes arrived in two’s and three’s as requested and this made our experience all the better. The waitress was most helpful in helping us choose and continued to check that we were happy throughout our stay.
This was the second time I have booked a table for a birthday, the first time my own and the second, my daughter's. Both occasions were memorable. We have relatives in Andalucia and have been visiting Spain all our lives, and we find Lobos has an authentic tapas menu and the food is delicious. I particularly recommend the octopus; also the prawns and the meatballs are really tasty. The staff brought a little cheesecake with a candle on it after the meal and we all sang Happy Birthday to my daughter. The music can be a little loud and the atmosphere slightly hectic, but that adds to the party feeling. We will definitely revisit.
Innovative well presented tapas. Friendly welcome and efficient staff. What’s not to like?
Great food. Really enjoyed the octopus leg. The waiters were very attentive. We had a great start to our evening.
Top notch tapas. Great variety. Good wine list. Attentive service. Can be a bit crowded space wise.
Good food. Outstanding service. Cool on a very hot night.
My friend and I had a lovely tapas selection at very good value, with super friendly service and a buzzy atmosphere!
Came here for my birthday and had the most fantastic evening. Staff were great and so was the food!
the boss is very enthusiastic and kind, give us great suggestions, the food looks good and tastes great. love black rice.
The food was great, especially authentic pan con tomate and the lovely croquetas with shrimps.
The desserts were extra special - I am still dreaming of the dulce de leche.
Wine list had plenty of Spanish favourites to choose from by the glass and bottle. Not the cheapest (eg I’ve paid less for the vega Sicilia in a 3 Michelin star place in Spain), however, this is London and wine consumers always seem to be expected to bear the brunt of restaurant margins... a great fun night with good advice on service too.
Great food for a casual lunch. Service good, efficient not pushy
Absolutely loved everything about it. Great location. Food was fabulous, service was well informed and friendly. Perfect way to start the evening. 🤩
With a family of seven, we appreciated the welcome we received. We were running a bit late, and we called ahead to let them know. They graciously held our table for 20 minutes, and in crazy, busy Soho this was extremely nice. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The food timing was paced very well and we enjoyed a wide variety of tapas selections.
Great experience! We were tired of the british food. We looked for a place where we could have a great dinner. Lobos is THE PLACE for spanish food.
