Such an amazing night.. Especially after being on lockdown for a while.
A business dinner during pandemic times! What a novelty. But went without a hitch at a trusted restaurant that has been outstanding for longer than I can remember. The service and food was incredible, and with great comfort despite being outside and the Covid sanitation requirements.
Loved the food but they had us sitting literally on the street right off the curb, tons of cars pulling up within a foot of our table. Homeless people fist fighting across the street to cap off an expensive valentines dinner. We asked if they could move our table before our food came out due to how bad the ambiance was the waiter asked his manager who came back and said no. Won’t be back
Love Chef André and everyone on the team. Great memories and so happy to continue to support during COVID. Truly a gem. Thank you.
I'm very grateful to have been able to have a Valentine's Day meal during these restricted dining times. The food was wonderfully prepared and delicious. The menu is filled with so many items that looked great it was difficult to decide, however, with the perfect advice from my server, everything was terrific. The pasta dish was so full of flavor. The A5 wagyu beef was only surpassed by Chef Andre's treatment as it was perfectly prepared. I hope to return soon.
Always an incredible experience! Jean Marc and Massimo have left us no option but to dine here as much as possible! Wonderful people, exquisite food, comforting ambiance!
I had lunch there with a friend and everything was delicious. We had a lunch special. I had soup and salad and he had salad and pasta. We both were really happy. In fact we both loved the Caesar salad.
Amazing lasagna and the ravioli with black truffles on the special was a real special treat!
Fabulous dishes, well porptioned and diverse. Perhaps a bit too much salt across the board; especially the soup. Which was still magnifient!
Again and again.. wonderful!
Great experience and even better food.
I asked for my steak to be medium well and the inside was extremely undercooked. For the price I paid for the meal, the steak should have been done much better.
Amazing as always. One of the best in town. Consistently good from the first day it opened.
Excellent food...no gimmicks just really delicious.
Everything was just perfect. Could not make a better choice for a special occasion.
Excellent food and service . Best tiramisu of all time!
Fine dining during Covid. We had a nice table for 2 outside. Tables were separated and we felt very safe. Food was delicious and portions were surprisingly generous.
As usual, it was a great experience even for the pandemic time.
Great from Start to finish. Every mess is home cooked and will be back soon!!
Wonderful meal, great wine and superb, friendly service with an Italian accent. We ate exclusively from the dinner specials and weren’t disappointed at all. And topped it off an outstanding tiramisu and espresso. Looking forward to coming back.
Great service ...friends of mine dine here regularly and love it. I only had one appetizer so it wouldn’t be fair of me to comment. Fair pricing ...will be back soon to have a full meal
Great restaurant, great food, go for the food!! Have been going here for years
We often come here for lunch!!! Haven't been disappointed yet.
Love this place, Massimo and staff were excellent! I brought a friend of mine who is from Italy there and we sat on the patio and had a wonderful evening. the Wine list is affordable (as it would be in Italy and very good. Had the warm bread and pesto spread, so good, as well as shared the prawn salad, lobster ravioli, and branzino! everything was excellent. Once 3rd street settled down after 830, it was so intimate and again the service is so on point, friendly, and humorous it was a wonderful experience. I will be back!
Massimo was an amazing waiter, he is the nicest Italian from Florence that you will ever meet. The truffle ravioli was to die for! The dessert, appetizers, everything was heavenly. I loved everything about this place. Such a luxury.
The service is excellent!
The food is delicious. My friend is a picky eater, but once he got the first bite of his Pollo al Mattone, he was hooked!!
A really lovely restaurant for lunch. Thoroughly enjoyable
We had a very special dinner here after a routine follow-up medical appointment at Cedars-Sinai where the doctor indicated a clean bill of health and no need to return for four months. We were seated outside but were the first guests of the evening. Private dining and perfect private service. The restaurant has a reputation as one of the best Italian restaurants in the city and really was a treat. We started with the San Remo Salad which was delicious. Followed up with the specialty Eggplant Rolls in a rich marinara sauce which was fabulous. Our main courses were Chilean Sea Bass with lentils and Branzino with quartered roasted baby potatoes and green beans. A glass of Pinot Grecio was very nice too. We had no room for dessert but the expresso was a great finish to the meal.
Always have an excellent service esp Adriane and John and Julio.
While we were staying in Beverly Hills, this was one of my favorites. The service is impeccable! Authentic Italian, and white tablecloths!
the food was salty in general
ordered pasta bongole and linguine was under cooked and luke warm
We have been coming to Locanda Veneta for years and the food and service has always been top notch. We love this place!
Again, a wonderful experience even during this Covid pandemic time. Excellent service and good. Loved it!
I loved the ambiance and the Nothern Eastern Italia food. I highly recommend to any American to try, and preferably the small portions so they can go through the all courses (menu) from appetizers to first and second course, ending with a nice Italian desert and traditional liquor.
Absolutely phenomenal! Every aspect of our experience was amazing
Locanda Veneta is truly one of the best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles! A local favorite of mine, this eatery has been offering a traditional and authentic taste of Venetian cuisine for over 30 years, which is a testament to the hard work and passion that Chef Andre and his team bring to the table (no pun intended). The restaurant offers expanded outside seating so that there's plenty of room to fully and safely enjoy the rich flavors of your favorite plate(s). Lastly, be sure to visit them during Dine LA for one of the most varied and generous menus you'll come across during restaurant week! Buon Appetito!
a vast variety of authentic options for italian food! they have an excellent lunch special value (mon-fri), and dine LA menu was fantastic. their signature dessert, tiramisu, was great, but pricey. service was awesome, i love when places read out the daily specials menu!
Terrific food. I enjoyed their wonderful lamb shank on polenta; my partner polished off his chicken parm with glee. Good value. Authentic Italian, down to the accents on the servers. Seated outside of course; safe distancing. Well handled all the way around.
