THEY DO NOT USE OPENTABLE ANYMORE.

Food took a while to arrive but it was great. Avoid Friday lunch if you're in a hurry. A bit noisy but nothing excessive. Very helpful and nice staff.

Plenty of people were in the bar, but 5/6 of the restaurant was closed so the atmosphere was unusual, atypical, and peculiar. The service was excellent, quick and friendly, and completely understood our orders. The food was excellent. At least they had chicken in contrast to the last time we came for dinner!
We do not appreciate the music which is far too loud.
I come fairly regularly for breakfast which I thoroughly enjoy. The porridge is to die for and the eggs are cooked to perfection. The coffee is the best of all the canal side eateries.
Finally. All the staff are real professionals and they make a visit most enjoyable.

There were 3 of us and one actually really liked their salad so that was good. I had a vietnamese roll and it was too big, too hard (crispy) and had no flavour, it was just stuffed with lots of stuff so unable to eat it.
The sweet potato fries were lovely
The third person had 1/4 chicken which was smothered in bbq sauce but tasted quite nice. Service was good, very friendly and great location but food was quite average.

Servings sizes were very small, especially the burgers for the price of them. The tuna burger was extremely overcooked, we couldn't finish it. The beef burger was not worth the £8, and the £5 polenta fries- you only received 5 of them, making them a ghastly £1 each!
Service was average- sufficient enough but nothing positive to comment.

Would not return for dinner. Might return for drinks due to central location.

Great burgers at Lockhouse. The buttermilk chicken with sriracha is delicious and are the fries (potato and sweet potato). Good service and (loud) buzzy atmosphere on a Friday night.

Only here for drinks and a light meal but the service was very attentive and the little food we ordered was very tasty. Quite noisy so more of a group drinks/dinner sort of place

The food was overpriced and a terrible experience. I had the duck tacos, it was basically just pickled pineapple and nothing else. They where overpowering and not possible to eat. My husband had the chicken, served only with a few slices of cucumber and fries. It was overcooked and very dry. Our son had the locked burger it was also very dry due to being overcooked. As a chef, this is one of the poorest meals I ever had in my life, and that is including several tourist traps around the world.
To top it all of the music in the restaurant was so loud that we could not have a conversation at all. We love music, but at 08.30 it was a bit to early for clubbing.
We had been looking forward to celebrating our sons birthday, but ended up having a kebab around the corner in stead.

Had a voucher for a Po' Boy sandwich that included fries and slaw. The slaw didn't come and when we asked one of the waiters about it, he told us it wasn't included and was quite curt. When we showed him the voucher he shrugged and went and got it as if it was a massive inconvenience. I later found a hair in my food, and in fact on a previous visit someone found a piece of plastic in their nachos.

We turned up for our booking only to be told that due to a large booking during the day they had decided to close the kitchens early. No apology given just a shoulder shrug!! Clearly didn't care about loosing our custom and we definitely will NOT be going back!

Second visit after a poor burger experience first time round. Ordered a rice salad dish. Asked why there were missing ingredients. Was informed they had changed the menu. So change the menu!! Or at least inform customers when ordering that they'll receive something different from that described. Anyway, it left the salad bland and disappointing. No conciliation offered. Won't be eating here again.

The waitress wasn't friendly when we walked in and then offered us a table right in the corner underneath the stairs, however I asked for another table. The food was appalling!! I was expecting fluffy, thick American pancakes but they were so thin that the woman who brought it over said "these are pancakes, I think", the bacon on top of it has lots of burnt black bits on it. The burger was the worst burger I've ever tried, it was so well done (they didn't ask how we wanted it so assumed the standard would be medium). Not only did the food taste bad, it looked bad aswell!! The waitress couldn't even be bothered to come back to take our card payment so we had to go up to the bar to pay for it and it wasn't even busy in there. I would never go back there or recommend it to anyone. What a shame as it had potential to be a good brunch place as I live nearby.

If you're looking for a place where small children won't be upsetting other diners then this place is great. There's a relatively private table next the the stairs at the front of the restaurant offering a good area for those with kids that just can't sit still.

Nice modern bar and burger house. Meat was a bit too funky for my liking though. Tasted a bit like it had been made with the tough offcuts from dry aged beef. Beer was good though. Heineken. Came in a pint glass. But can't really credit that to the venue. Took quite a while to get served even though the place was not busy and we were clearly on an office lunch. My colleague said it took ages to get their food last time when it was busy. Seems you can't win. I'd go back - it was pretty good value for a central London joint and any place that serves pints not just bottles gets my vote.
