Great food and good service. Felt a bit dated in there and missing the charm a traditional English pub has. We got the lovers January deal which was spectacular and the food was superb.

The artichoke soup was goo but the size of the croutons were inedible. The chicken dish was swamped in an over strong lentil sauce which overpowered the chicken

i live near here so it is an obvious choice to bring friends when they are visiting, but again at probably my fifth visit in a row everything was inconsistent. the service was good, but the quality of the food was poor. i'll be giving this restaurant a miss for a while and see if they can sort it out.

What an awful experience. I would never go back. Went for lunch on Christmas Day with 6 of us. A complete farce throughout. It was chaos when we arrived, people standing around waiting for booked tables that were late. Our table was 30 minutes late with no explanation, only half of the drinks order was brought, bread was only offered after the main course arrived. We were given an amuse Bouche but no cutlery to eat it with. The brioche with the pate was stone cold. Many more faux pas occurred. The restaurant was full of dogs. It cost nearly £900 for the 6 of us. Completely RUINED our Christmas Day. No explanation was given for the appalling service and late table despite repeatedly raising the issues with the maitre d’. When I chased our drinks order the manager disappeared for 10 minutes and never gave any explanation for the missing drinks. Final insult was the manager offered not to charge for the coffees because of all the issues (on a ~£900 bill)
Gordon Ramsay should be ashamed to have his name associated with this disaster.

Fantastic seasonal menu, delicious food and good portion sizes. Customer service was very good and I didn't feel at all rushed to leave after I finished my meal. The prices for food and good but the drinks menu is on the expensive side (more in line with the West End).

We were both disappointed in the menu for its limited menu choice. I have not eaten out for a while because of past poor restaurant choices and this restaurant falls in the same bracket. It was a Sunday, however, it's sad when you are compelled to order a Sunday roast because everthing else on the menu is not appealing. On returning home my son laughed that we went out and had a roast dinner when we could have had it at home, I cook a mean roast! My venison was chewy. The neighbouring tables had dogs, who were well behaved but my husband did not take to kindly to this especially when the waitress began to cuddle and stroke them (hygiene)! Starter and dessert (the latter a selection of 4 where they did not have any more sticky toffee pudding at a 6pm reservation) variety was poor so we only had a main and ventured off elsewhere for a dessert. Not impressed by this Ramsey restaurant. However, not all bad as service was very good.

Potential for greatness, however some elements aren't quite hitting the mark. Interior feels quite clinical, starters were absolutely amazing, main courses disappointing (mainly due to overpowering taste or dry pasta) but desserts won us over. Service overall was fantastic and was one of the main reasons we enjoyed our meal. Really hospitable and felt more like a host, as opposed to a waiter. Overall a bit of a mixed bag review and so would consider returning for a sunday lunch. If that ends up being good, we would give the restaurant another chance, however if not, we probably wouldn't return.

I booked a table for 6.00 pm and It was all good until around 8.30 when we were suddenly asked to leave because the table was required for another reservation. We were given no advance warning and the restaurant was only about half full. We were not planning to leave so early and it was a disappointing ending to an otherwise enjoyable evening. Maybe staff could be trained to treat customers with more tact?

Was looking forward to the bottomless brunch at London House but overall was very disappointed. While appreciating we had an early, 12.30 Sunday booking, the place was very quiet, almost dead, and despite there being numerous free tables, we were put on a tiny table inches away from a family group. Eventually ordered Bloody Mary's and a main from the brunch menu. Wild mushrooms and poached eggs on toast - very average, don't think the mushrooms were "wild" and the BM was bland with no kick or spice. My friends "full English" was mediocre to say the least. The service seemed laboured, slow, and people around us were complaining about missing items or dishes not being as described, and overall not a great experience sadly.

Great location and a place that is easily made by the fantastic service we received. The staff went out of their way to make it a memorbale experience. That said, you do feel that the quality of the food and pricing are not at the same level, and that you are paying for the Ramsey name, without the quality of product as a whole.

Perhaps one of the best value-for-money and most secret places of all of Gordon Ramsay's outstanding group. Most likely, those two things go together. Third visit which in itself says a lot but on top of that, great service, perfectly prepared and presented cuisine and true neighborhood feel. Takes a bit to get to via bus (no tube nearby) from Central London but well worth it.

We chose London house to celebrate our upcoming second wedding anniversary as we had our wedding reception here .

Very dissatisfied with the service especially the bar table service the server split drink over one guest
No coasters were used so the table was full of wet ring marks
The server recommended a cocktail to one of us and then it turned out it was made very poorly and the waiter then admitted to not having tasted it even though he recommended it !!!
The cocktails were half full and weak

The worst pornstar martini I have ever tasted

There was an uncomfortable air of Ponce amoung the bar table servers a snooty look here and there and very fake !

I was left with coffee and no milk for such a long time that the coffee was warm when it arrived

The food was ok
Ribeye wasn't the best .
All 3 steaks arrived with sauce and one without for some reason .

Very dissatisfied with this visit and perhaps Mr Ramsey's attitude is rubbing off on the staff !?

Would not return it recommend sadly

We came for dinner Sunday night & had a delicious meal. Service very good, friendly & helpful staff, they were very happy to have my dog there & there were indeed other dogs which made it very friendly. Gordon Ramsey was there for dinner too & came by to speak to us.
It’s close the park & very pleasant to walk along the river to the restaurant. A very happy experience.

Perfect for a sunny bank holiday Saturday lunch. We were a table of 4 & 2 dogs. We started with wonderful cocktails at the bar. On being seated in the restaurant we spotted an outdoor table, in the secret garden. We relocated there & enjoyed a lovely long lunch. Food highlights included lamb carpaccio, duck and chicken liver parfait, wild black bream & gooseberry and elderflower posset. Friendly, engaging staff. A great find.

The worst of all worlds, over priced unimaginative food and terrible service. Only the triple cooked chips were judged good by the four of us. The starter of burrata was good but the terrine was tasteless with all but invisible rhubarb jelly. The burger was tough and uninteresting, the fish and chips again run of the mill and both at sky high prices. The wine is expensive and again nothing with a spark of novelty about it. The service is the worst I have experienced; the second course arrived and was served whilst one of us was still eating the starter! No apology was offered, the plates were cleared and the food served totally ignoring the fact that one embarrassed guest was still eating. The waiter then hovered nearby until she finished. We were 10 minutes late for the table so we could not have been holding up the next booking. It is so noisy that the waiters could not hear the orders. If you want to pay about £40 for fish and chips and a glass of wine, this is the place for you. Your local chippy will be much better and you can eat at your own pace.

London House has improved, but it still lacks a bit of sparkle. The ambiance is good, with nice seating areas which are not too cramped, but it needs some finishing touches; it could be so much more exciting with just a little more attention to eg feature lighting and colour features. Service is okay, but appears a bit stretched once the place gets busy, and the Manager is at full stretch assisting with service rather than focusing on greeting guests and checking on service. Our food was good, but not outstanding. Wine List was acceptable, but some bottles are well overpriced. Just a little more investment and imagination could make this establishment very good.

No front of house to greet us. I flagged someone down. Restaurant was 40% full. We were seated. Took a while for drinks order to be taken. But from there on in I can’t pick fault. Food was good and our waitress was attentive and lovely. I like this place. Maybe they were low on staff because it was quiet. Overall a good place, probably go dinner over lunch.

The food was delicious but the service wasn’t great. I was served a dirty cup and saucer for my tea, I was then served tea without any milk or being asked if I would like milk, when I requested milk for my tea I was provided with hot, frothy milk rather than cold milk (as would be more usual). We were then served beans for the entire table but with no spoon to be able to serve ourselves and had to request this. It then took a very long time to get the bill.
