I was a bit disappointed. They did not have the starter I ordered off the menu and the main course I ordered was not as described on the menu so I had a burger instead. It was OK but pricy at €21. The food was alright but not memorable. It was a very cold and windy evening and a very cold draught went through the restaurant every time the door opened.

Food was very expensive for what we considered to be quite ordinary - steak €36 with a small salad and not good broccoli! chips were very nice! Starters a little overpriced also. Coffee was awful- chicory flavor espresso.
Room was quite cold. It was a windy day and every time the door opened we froze even though we were a good distance away.

Mostly enjoyed it - great friendly service, however while the starters we had we very good, the main courses could be improved. The fried chicken needs some veg or potato type accompaniment - I didn’t like the sweet bread and its not enjoyable for a main meal, without it there wasn’t enough on plate. The coleslaw was very nice but small portion. Desert choice was only ok. Overall would give it another chance...

Always tasty food but the service always tends to be slightly lacking...young team who are obviously still learning the ropes, pleasant but lacking in menu knowledge! Would definitely return though!

We finally managed to go for dinner with another couple who are into food just as much as we are. My expectations were quite high and I was a little concerned the menu choices may not be great (I don't like ordering steak in restaurants).
Anyway, what an outstanding dinner we had!!! The starters (two different seafood based dishes) we're really good and the special (prawn-based) was super. We then ordered the seafood main special of the day (whole sea bream) that was superb! The wines were also really good (chenin blanc and Chilean Pinot Noir) and very good value for their quality. We also had tiramisu (one of the nicest ever had as it was really light and tasty). The only downside: the white port we had at the end was a little "thin" for my taste. Staff were very nice and very good,, not super experienced but it. Was actually a plus as it made it a relaxing experience.
Overall really impressive, will definitely go back!

Warm and cozy on bad weather evening ... Waitress really pleasant and food excellent
A bit pricey , should be round 22 euro for local menu , glass of wine good idea , extra glass should be at lower price
Happy overall

Second visit to Lorettas, was impressed that the menu had changed but also a little disappointed as some items on the previous menu were fantastic.
I opted for mussels in a habernero & garlic sauce for starters, my partner had mackerel. Both dishes were very tasty, well presented and enjoyed by the pair of us.
For mains we both went for fish of the day which was sea bream, this came on a bed of Mexican rice, pak choi & a couple of different jous, one of which had a bit too much salt for my liking but not too much to spoil the dish.
The sea bream was cooked to perfection, lovely crispy skin with succulent flesh, well seasoned.
Desert at Lorettas is the the only part of the evening which was disappointing, deserts are not their forte, the selection is limited and a little boring. I found this to be true on the last visit also. However, we shared a custard tart with rhubarb which was pleasant.
Seating in Lorettas is fine, be aware that it can be draughty if you are near the door.
As an overall dining experience it was very good and somewhere I will revisit again.
4/5 overall.

The staff were very pleasant and the food alright. I had the neighborhood menu, €25 for burger, chips and dessert. Price pretty standard for that type of food. However, we did not enjoy the occasion due to the cold. Every time anyone went in or out the front door, there was a blast of icy air.
We complained and a small domestic fan heater was plugged in a couple of meters away. This was useless, so we finished up quickly and left.

The food and restaurant were lovely, the service however, was incredible slow. As a group we only ordered main courses, it took 30 mins to have our drink order taken and 45 mins to order food. The restaurant wasn't busy enough to justify the delay.

Very late booking accommodated for our party of 7, we were late but we were given enough time to finish our food and drink ...which was lovely, well presented, plenty of it...the sourdough bread should be sold to take home..,divine it was..,
Lovely ambiance, friendly staff and nice spacious tables which makes a big difference from squashed in tables...we will be back !

Food is usually great, service is always impeccable and friendly. Sadly, on this occasion our two pasta mains were almost inedible due to the mushrooms being full of grit - a really unpleasant sensation. Hopefully just a once off..
