Excellent everything!!! Can’t rave enough! This is one of my new favorite restaurants in the city!
Food was great!
What an amazing experience! Chef Dan Kluger is a master of everything fresh! His ability to combine ingredients that seem commonplace and deliver out of this world flavor without breaking the bank is unmatched. The bone in pork chop, and zucchini blossom pizza were standouts. The pork quality was undoubtedly some of the best I’ve ever experienced, perfectly cooked, juicy and full of melt in your mouth fat, with a nice deeply developed char you can only get from roasting in a single portion cast iron staub in a high temp wood burning oven. The juices and fat perfectly caramelized the summer wax beans that lay underneath soaking up all that swiney goodness. The whole-wheat nutrient rich pizza, cracker thin and crisp, was a wonderful example of the chefs ability to perfectly merry sweet and savory, while not seeming heavy in the least, yet still cascading with bold and remarkable flavor. The servers, Ezra and Selena, were warm and accommodating and able to stay light on their feet when I peppered them with questions and probed into each dish. My wife and I were able to celebrate and converse easily in the full and animated room without feeling drowned out by fellow diners. All in all, a fantastic experience that I won’t soon forget!
The summer of 2019 has been my summer of Loring Place. I've eaten there 5 or 6 times (thank you NY'er for being away and not using all available reservations!) and it has been on point each time. Delicious food, perfect service. My favorite restaurant of the year. Cheers.
Good neighborhood brunch place. Creative food and comfortable seatings.
OMG — DELICIOUS! Super fresh, really wonderful and surprising. Was a real pleasure. Service was friendly and professional — made the delicious food even more enjoyable.
Servers forgot to charge us for wine. We were ethical and let them know. They ended up charging us the full amount. Would expect some kind of generosity for their mistake / our honesty at a high class restaurant.
I didn’t even eat here but was checked in anyway after leaving and speaking with the manager.
Was very disappointed with the food. It was very expensive and did not live up to my high expectation.
We all enjoyed the amazing food and friendly attentive service
Loring Place is definitely one of our new "go to" places. The food is consistently delicious and innovative, and the service and ambiance can't be beat. Have introduced it to two of our three kids--They are now enthusiastic fans who will definitely spread the word to their friends as well. Can't wait to go back for another superlative dining experience.
Absolutely the best restaurant around. Should have a Michelin star. Char, salads, pizza, pasta, halibut the best. Can't beat the tristar strawberries (salad and crostata). A must go.
Excellent varied menu of appetizers, small plates and large plates. The short ribs, pork chop, Arctic char and halibut were particularly noteworthy. The dining room was modern and attractive but at a high decibel level. Nevertheless, the experience was well worth it.
Terrific service! Delicious food, with perfect portions. Neighborhood (should be destination) gem.
This is the best meal I have had in recent memory. The menu was varied and innovative, the flavors complex and satisfying. Service was excellent and ambiance hit all the right notes. Will definitely be back as soon as time allows. Have already recommended to family and friends alike. Not to be missed.
Everything we ordered was delicious. Our server had excellent recommendations. So glad we took the advice.
This restaurant is one of my all time favorites. Food and service is superb. The strawberry salad and crostata were incredible.
The food was very good. The service was also very good, and the staff was exceptionally friendly
Wonderful creative food with a menu to please anyone’s taste from vegan to carnivore
One of the best meals my friends and I have ever had, period, and we are fairly seasoned foodies. Each and every dish was delicious in a different way, wine was tasty and affordable. We are already planning a return trip. Reservation advised, even midweek.
One of my favorite spots in NYC. Ambiance without the pretense. Exquisite yet accessible dishes. The service is gracious and professional. It’s the perfect balance of detail-oriented dining without the attitude.
The place, the food and service all AWEOME
All was excellent!
Delicious and elegant addition to Greenwich Village dining scene. A perfect night out.
I was impressed with the presentation and layers of flavors in each dish. My friend and I shared two starter plates, a pasta, and a chicken entre. I wish they had spaced out the delivery of the dishes. We got the crudo and cauliflower at almost the same time, there was a long gap, then the pasta and chicken came out at the same time. My preference would be to have one shush at a time. Still LOVED the food and had a great time. The staff were also friendly and attentive. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.
Friendly and pleasant from the get go. Attentive and responsive service. Fresh ingredients, great food.
We had water dripping on us from the air conditioner and some fell into my friends glass of wine which they did not replace. The manager said she would take care of it after we ate because of dust.
We enjoyed a luncheon with an old friend and it happens to be our wedding anniversary week. We had the price fix lunch with an appetizer and an entry. Decent wine list, farm fresh appetizers (snap peas dressed with avocado , arugula salad, baked ricotta with mint) and Fluke were outstanding. Mains were grandma's pizza, wonderful chicken salad and a vegetarian salad. All great. We ordered a dessert to share but they had overheard our anniversary discussion and came up with a little cake with a candle. Loved it and will definitely go back as frequently as we can .
Food and service were excellent. Unique and flavorful food. Its been awhile since I've really enjoyed the flavors as much as I did here.
The bartender who served my colleague and I was so rude. I had a reservation for 2:30. My colleague arrived at 2:25 and was immediately told the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes and which point my colleague called me to that I could give him my order while in my car 3 minutes away. I believe having a reservation at 2:30 would mean the kitchen would be open to accommodate said order. I can't imagine taking someone's order the second they hit the chair. The bartender was NOT shy about showing his disdain for us being there for lunch at 2:30. I am mortified on behalf of the restaurant given how often I eat there and have even hosted an event. Cannot say that I would ever walk back in.
Amazing food and excellent lunch pre fixe deal. Waiters were friendly and helpful , taking care to ask for specific allergies while giving details on each dish to help customer make an informed choice given the many options
Every dish was delicious in an unexpected ways. Who knew you could make broccoli like. The Gemelli pasta with peas was like eating Spring. The Som was first class.
Delicious food! And great service. Food is a bit pricey, but hey, it's NYC.
This restaurant is delicious
Joey, our server, made our night. So genuine, so nice. He went above and beyond and really wowed us - descriptions of all the dishes and recommendations were spot on. The food was fantastic too! Highly recommend the date pizza and the tres leches if you're not too full.
Service was cordial but inattentive. We had to get our waiter's attention to get extra plates, get check, etc.
Food was delicious and creative but surprisingly the chicory salad which was shared had too much vinegar and we both found ourselves coughing and eating half.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
It was a friend's birthday- everything was excellent, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the small plates and the Grandma pizza!
