TENrei: The Art of Tuna Ceremony at Los Mochis London City is an immersive 10-course, 12-seater experience led by Executive Head Chef. The unveiling of a whole, uncut tuna, starts the ceremony, followed by an intricate, skilful breakdown using traditional Japanese knives, where Chef Tanyag guides guests through each step of the process, from expertly filleting the fish to detailing the unique techniques and flavours of each cut, including coveted sections like otoro (fatty belly), chutoro (medium-fat), and akami (lean). Each stage is a celebration of Japanese culinary art, where guests sample the tuna’s freshest cuts immediately as they are prepared. Available every second and fourth Tuesday of each month. *Subject to availability.

I had the best experience at Los Mochis London — hands down one of my favorite spots! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was immaculate. The staff were super welcoming, attentive, and really knew their stuff. The fusion of Mexican and Japanese flavors was unreal — every dish was bursting with taste and beautifully, Can’t wait to go back. Xoxo

Food was incredible and such an amazing choice, was hard not to be greedy and order even more plates to try. Cocktails were lovely and the service was great, so friendly and more than enough staff on hand. Loved also how you could order as many scoops of ice cream or moochi you wanted as I literally just wanted to try 1 piece and take away my sweet craving. Will definitely be going back!

My experience at this restaurant is mixed. The food was really good, I’m vegetarian and one of the other people in my party of 4 was vegan, very good options for both and very tasty. The drinks and cocktails were very expensive so you need deep pockets to enjoy a night out here. Champagne was not chilled so that’s a definite no no for me! Our bill was just over £700 so not value for money. Ritz prices in Liverpool Street!

We have eaten at the original restaurant in Nottinghill where we have had exceptional experiences. Sadly this was the opposite - service was very lacking nevermind we were essentially eating in a roof top tent that felt like we had an office party taking place around us. We attempted to ask to be moved tables after as 4 different e people and a bear 30min wait we were moved. By this time one of our kids were so overwhelmed they had cried and could no longer eat. Food was good as before but sadly for this process you would expect service and ambience to match. This will not be a restaurant we return to. I would recommend taking your money elsewhere.

Service, food, location outstanding, love this place. Best sushi, melts in your mouth and tapas flavours are just right. But the best is the service from downstairs welcome, to bar staff to restaurant service, all round felt welcome and looked after. The menu can seem complicated but the waiter was knowledgeable and patient helping us make the right choice. We will be back for sure!
