We needed a reservation for dinner at the last minute and Lotti’s had an availability. The food was nice and the service was good. We did have to ask a couple of
Times for several items, but it was a Saturday night and there were many other diners. It is right off a canal and located in a hotel.
Between the 4 of us, we had a burger, salad, Ravioli, chicken, steak tartar, fresh vegetables, and fries. The burger was big and cooked right. The French fries were great. My husband enjoyed the steak tartar, although he said it was prepared different from anywhere he had had it before. The Ravioli was good, but no fresh Parmesan was offered. We order wine and water and the waiter forgot both. He redeemed himself eventually after he was reminded.
I would recommend the restaurant if someone was in the neighborhood, but I would not go out of my way to return.
Nice enough food, good service but a little overpriced
Had an excellent breakfast at Lotti’s; great menu and very tasteful, fresh food. Well presented.
An upscale modern decor restaurant in ground level of local hotel. Interesting menu options prepared perfectly and with great service. Excellent bar cocktails and offerings. Not crowded tables even when very busy with people and several nice areas for drinks alone or serious bar snacks. Excellent staff
Took my mother and a group of 6 of us here for her 60th birthday - the service was amAzing, the food was fab, the whole thing was just perfect and I’m super grateful.
Great atmosphere, friendly service, excellent food.
Had a great time.
Had a nice lunch here two weeks ago but dinner Saturday night was disappointing (three different main courses). Ambiance was great and my preference for a table to the side was taken into account so the six of us could actually catch up 😉 while enjoying the delicious cocktail and wine.
Wonderful food and very accommodating staff (allowed us to push our booking back by 30 mins). Atmosphere is v. cool and laid back, we returned the following afternoon to hide from the rain drinking tea and eating cake!
Feels like American community. Nottingham to do with Amsterdam dining
Very contemporary. I had the herring on spelt bread. Delightful and grilled octopus. Even better. Both dishes beautifully plated. The Mediterranean cocktail with rosemary garnish was refreshing. Service was good except the waitress was a little forgetful and disappeared...
Lotti’s is in the hip and lively lobby of The Hoxton. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I had the catch of the day, which was a haddock filet over lemon risotto with mushroom and hericot vert. The fish was cooked well and the sauce was tasty. For dessert, I had a white and dark chocolate mousse that was almost like a cheesecake, with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel. My table for one was on a comfy banquette, and the room was lighted by a large skylight, which created a soothing atmosphere even with a bit of noise from the lobby bar. All in all a very good dining experience. I recommend it for a fun dinner with friends or solo dining, like I did.
Mediocre overpriced food in a very nice ambiance. Great place, nice atmosphere, good service.
As always, I very much enjoyed lunch at Lotti's: good food, friendly waiters. It's a good place to hang out.
Excellent full stop go there it’s perfect for all round food and drinks
The beef burgers were all way overcooked. Moreover, 4 out of 7 guests got ill after this food experience. Basically the venue is nice, the staff is pretty unprofessional but friendly. Nice for drinks, avoid the food.
Good food, friendly waiters, nice buzzling atmosphere in the evening. Good place for a night out for food & drinks.
I made this reservation when I was planning my trip to Amsterdam and it did not disappoint! We went for brunch during the week, food was pretty good and the service was brilliant. Would definitely come back here again if I return to Amsterdam!
Great ambiance and cozy bar. Loved the colors and overall decor
I often come here. Food is good, waiters and waitresses always friendly.
Nice place, very professional employees.
The temperature was a bit too cold.
So lovely we went back twice in one weekend!! The food, the staff ,the bloddy Mary’s, everything was perfect.
As always, great food and fantastic service. This place is chilled and relaxed.
The ambience is great. The food is very nice too, but the portions are very small. Not a very good price-quality ratio. Cocktails are great. Service is on the edge of being annoying, since waiters show up at your table far too frequent.
I had a very pleasant evening at Lottie´s with my friend, food was great, staff really friendly and atmosphere was great. I will come back
The service was really excellent but the food was very mediocre. Lamb was full of sinew making it difficult to enjoy. The steak was unremarkable. If the food matched the service, we’d be regulars
After our starter we’ve waited for an hour for our main dishes. When it got served we had to send 3 out of 5 back because the dish was cold/lukwarm. With the second try one of the medium-rare ordered steaks it got served well-done. Eventually the third try was good, but because of this the rest of the party was already finished.
In general we thought the waiters were very (too) quick with taking the order, they even came across a bit pushy, but they left us waiting on the order for a long time, even for the drinks.
The good thing was that the 2 steaks were left out of the bill, so props for that.
This restaurant was recommended to me, I am from the area, but it left me very disappointed. I would not recommend Lotti’s to anyone else.
Not the best dinner experience. Food was cold, service not great.
Very much enjoyed the food, trendy atmosphere, friendly waiters & waitresses
Nice location and big room - little stark and similar to hotel lobby style work space
I really enjoyed dinner at Lotti's! The food was very good, service was for Amsterdam standards quite good. The wine was (given the price) not as good as I expected but overall I'd really recommend Lotti's!
Was there for a Sunday brunch. It was very busy so the service was slow, but staff was friendly. After an hr my pancake finally arrived. It was disappointing as it was just three flat small pancakes with a drizzle of syrup and 6 berries... Expected more for the price! My friends' eggs Benedict with avocado looked ok. The ambience is nice so I would recommend the place for a coffee and something more substantial to eat.
The food was excellent for a Good price and tasteful wine and friendly people.
Very much enjoyed lunch: good, fresh food, friendly waiters, nice atmosphere. An absolute stopover when strolling along the canals. When it's busy, make sure the waiter brings you a coffee that is still hot.
Eclectic atmosphere, interesting dishes full of flavor. Adequate service. It was a quiet night and we dined late but a lively crowd was beginning to gather for more social activity in the bar and casual seating areas.
The experience was good. The decor is amazing and the place is espexially great to chill. The staff in this Amsterdam restaurant didn’t speak any Dutch (which is ok if you address it, it’s always a little weird if they assume you speak English or maybe they assume you’re foreign).
Poor service overall. Waited ages to be given a menu, then to take our order and when food arrived it was very underwhelming. Small portions and the fish of the day wasn't overly warm.
Took 10 minutes for a coffee and glass of wine to reach our table, yet when we asked for the bill, it was with us in seconds....
Nice place, cozy and good food. Nice to visit with friends and small children. Being at the lobby of the hotel, keep an eye on the kids. The staff was mixed, some were very friendly, one very rude (told me “to get out of the way” in a very angry voice) and another extremely chaotic (dropped glasses of tray 3 times, forgot half the order). Looked as if they were understaffed. Nontheless, recommended for a nice Sunday lunch.
New Years Eve party. Great food, excellent service. Fun chilled evening
