Lucca South Shore is our new go-to restaurant for an outstanding meal and special occasions. The entire staff was accommodating and very attentive. Our waiter Gerry, was exceptional! Soup to Nuts, this restaurant is at the top of my list. Welcome to the South Shore.
Everything was great except the tough pork chop. Aside from that Will definitely be back!!
The atmosphere and ambiance is great! The staff from bartenders to wait staff couldn’t be more attentive. My new favorite spot!
Very good food and experience!
Always a great meal at Lucca and the manager Sean is very accommodating!
The food was excellent and our server was outstanding!
First time dining at the restaurant and was not disappointed at all. Outside dining was attractive and tables were appropriately distant. Staff were welcoming and very gracious. Look forward to dining again and planning on giving friends a gift certificate to dine at the restaurant.
The food was amazing as was the service! Cant wait to go back to try more food!
Not my kind of Italian food, as it is way over spiced.
Very good but the tent is not outside dining. Maybe because of rain? But did enjoy The total experience
The best restaurant on the South Shore. Open and safe space both indoors and outdoors in their heated tent. Great service with always incredible food!
Food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant is inviting and new
Excellent service and a real atmosphere which is brilliant to see in today’s environment. The menu variety is refreshing.
We ordered pasta dishes and had to wait more than 30 minutes!! The pork meatballs had way too much fennel. It ruined the taste of the meatballs. All you could not taste anything other than fennel.
Seating in outside tent had to be reseated due to noise from table of 8 or 10. reseated in bar area. ok. food was just good returned hangar steak too tough and not hot. staff worked well with us.
Delicious as usual!
A SPECIAL PLACE. NOT MANY LIKE LUCCA ON THE SOUTH SHORE.
Service was outstanding
Would’ve like a few more choices on menu and dining was a little too dark
Dessert and bar amazing
My wife loved her scallops. Two of my friends and I had the restaurants’s version of pasta bolognese. The chef at this restaurant needs to go to Luccas in the north end to learn their recipe. All 3 of us left 1/2 of the meal and no one took the remainder home.
The waitress was great.
Food was terrible. 3 Bad meals. Everything else was good
First time here! Food and service were outstanding! Best meatballs! Felt Covid safe and we will be back! One of our new favorites!
Celebrated my partner’s birthday and they did a wonderful job wishing him a happy birthday. Even recommended their favorite dishes to try, like the calamari, which was exceptional! Unfortunately the noise level was loud. Hostess sat us in a nice area but the table next to us was a group of about 8 coworkers on a business meal who were loud and not being considerate of other patrons. Regardless that the meal, service, and ambience was great. Will be back again.
Food and service were amazing. Looking forward to returning soon.
Quiet night- food was good.... server was friendly and knowledgeable. Could have been a bit quicker with the drinks and checking in with us! Bus and expo were great!
Lucca was out of a couple of items people in our family wanted. The food was terrific but fairly expensive and everything is a la carte. They were wonderful about switching sides that people did not like for ones they did. Our server was outstanding ... very up to the moment on the menu. We'll go back for a special occasion
This was our first visit. It was a Sunday afternoon with a patriots game.
It was very quiet. We sat in the tent and were very comfortable. Service was great and staff very accommodating.
The only downfall was the arrancini was not very hot and neither was the pizza, although, the flavors were were very good.
We would try again on a different day!
Food was fabulous, the decor is beautiful, overall we really enjoyed Saturday date night at the new Lucca.
However, our waitress (although quite friendly) missed the mark. We were in a back corner table, unsure if it was away from her other tables or if she was tired as we were there at the 830pm timeframe. She was not very attentive, waters sat unfilled, long legs between seating and greeting (over 10 mins).
We loved the food so much, we will likely give it another shot to earn that 5 star rating.
I ordered the Ricotta Cavatelli, Tomato Braised Boar, Pork Meatballs, Bacon, Escarole. No where on the description does it say spicy. It was sooo spicy I could barely eat it but was sooo hungry I had to eat some. Nothing in this dish would have made it spicy. I told the waitress and she agreed and it was taken on our bill. The burrata was delish and so were the arancini. The food is a bit froo froo Italian. Not your typical dishes. Ambiance is great and it's a pretty place.
Went there for our Anniversary. Food was phenomenal and the service was top notch. Lisa begins the bar was on point. And my fiancé could write a book describing how good the desserts were.
This was our third visit with each of the other visits being outstanding in all ways. While the food was once again exceptional, the only thing that lacked this time was the service. It was very slow despite us being the only party for a while in an otherwise private room. All other things were great: ambiance, noise level, value, wine selection. We will visit again.
Great service and food! First time there and would highly recommend it to family and friends
Bonnie our server was lovely and made our experience perfect. Food was excellent, highly recommend
Great experience! Emily was our server and she was outstanding! It’s always been a pleasure experience going to Lucca.
This was our first time at Luca and we were very impressed and will be going back soon!
Top notch all the way around. City-like finishes on the South Shore
The four of us had delicious meals. We ate in the tent at 4:30 pm, so it was comfortable, best you could achieve with a tent. Fresh air was moving and they have a heater that blew hot air at the floor level. Indoor dining was available and spaced nicely. The food and drinks at Luccas is always fabulous and imaginative. The salt, on occasion, is a bit heavy for me. However, if you are sensitive ask for less salt, they are very accommodating.
Management was friendly and greeted each table, the food was excellent and prices fair.
Wonderful place with great laid back service for a nice night!
Great food service and ambiance.
Unfortunately for us, my friends weren't comfortable sitting inside tent area. (Looked very cozy to me). So on this very chilly evening we had to sit outdoors. And was a 'bit' too chilly, even the heaters Weren't enough!., But this was on us, not Luccas'
Everything was great
Outstanding. The Really Really Good Meatballs (appetizer) lived up to their description. Rigatoni and Hanger Steak were each fabulous. Service spectacular. This was our second visit whereby we enjoyed lunch there previously and had an equally wonderful experience. Nice wine list with a good selection of high-end wines. Good value and fair pricing for delicious and expertly prepared food. We look forward to visiting again and again.
