   The Food was ok, we waited quite a while before anyone came to take our order for drinks The staff were busy I understand that but even so we sat waiting for quite a while.... We eventually got our drinks no chance of ordering another one as we couldn't get anyone's attention 🤔2 of our party asked for dessert , brownie with cream, they got brownies with ice cream and no cutlery 😕 we asked 3 times before they were given a spoon by this time the ice cream had just about melted.... Next we asked for the bill well what can I say the lady who brought it, who I presume was a manager as she wasn't dressed in black , had an attitude, given that we had the table until 8-45 and this was 8-20, she was rushing a lady in our party who was sorting out the money and kept saying that the service charge was added on which we knew but with her awful attitude and bad service we had received we asked her to take it off! Lucia lost quite a bit of money that night as we usually spend a fair amount on meals and drinks ... Never again!!!

   Started with mixed breads with olive oil and balsamic - More bread than expected nice and fresh basic bottle bottle of balsamic and olive oil presented with them - expected a good quality oil and balsamic dip , bit disappointing but plenty of bread if your hungry ! Main course one pasta one risotto was lovely - but portions were very small - maybe that’s why there was so much bread ! Staff friendly lovely ambience would suggest they look at portion sizes .

   The restaurant was beautiful however the food was poor for the price. My pasta dish was tiny and the sauce on my husbands belly pork was supposed to be red wine.. it tasted of vinegar. The waitress seemed to hover around us which made us feel uncomfortable. Such a shame, totally different experience to Lucia’s in York which we love.

    Disappointed that some items have been removed from the menu although we appreciate that some dishes are seasonal Unfortunately both the dishes I like have been taken off
