Elegant decor, lovely food, friendly staff, but service was a bit slow, considering there was only a few people in there, had to wait a while for drinks .but would recommend it, and will go back .
Great tapas and cocktails for a girly get-together.
The food at Lupo Bianco is great and the service friendly although a bit slow/disorganised at busy times. The noise level is almost unbearable Sat evening when it is full as the sound bounces off the walls with nothing to absorb it. Made conversation difficult on a rectangular table of 6. I have also been at lunchtime when it was a much better experience overall.
Had a great time at Lupo Bianco with my friend for a catch up, would recommend but thought that the food was overpriced and not affordable for every day people. Atmosphere and decor was great.
Very lively venue, food excellent. Great music. The service was a little bit slow, but very friendly. It however it was a very busy Friday night.
Very nice restaurant was recommended to me and I will certainly be recommending it to others
We ordered a sharing platter and it was good. The meat was a little tough but did not put me off eating it. Flavour was good and the accompaniments too.
My friends and I had a midweek meet up here for dinner and drinks. We all absolutely loved it. There was a deal on steaks on Wednesdays and I can only say that the food was fabulous. Excellent service and I recommend the cocktails. A perfect place were definitely coming back and I've already recommended it to my friends and family!
A great experience all round, the clean and open setting, the attentive chap when we entered and the waitress that served us, even the chef that cooked our meal asked if everything was to our liking. The food was excellent, we had a mixture of cold/hot tapas with chicken skewers so 5 tapas dishes followed by a main which was more than enough... Or so we thought until we saw the desert menu. Then there was the churros and oreo/ameretto infused cheese cake and not the standard that you get in any restaurant, a descent portion /6.churros which tasted like no other cheese cake I had ever had, it was sublime. The bill at the end was not surprising at roughly £120 for two for 9 dishes and quite a few drinks, it was well priced for the quality. I'll certainly be back thank you.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Also great drinks. Another perfect meal. Thank you
Very pleased with our decision try some tapas. All the food was enjoyable. There was some work needed on a door, but apologies were made and we accepted that it needed to be done. We had early reservation so it was quiet in there. Hope to return.
The service was very slow considering hardly anyone in restaurant. The main waiter was friendly, however the barman was rude and did not smile, made us feel really unwelcome. Food was good especially octopus, however will not be returning.
Lupo Bianco is well worth a visit my wife, mother in law and myself booked a table for
4.30pm last Sunday. We arrived to be greeted by friendly staff who gave an option of
tables as the restaurant wasn't very busy.
We chose to sit in the upper section where you could see the kitchen - immaculately
The menu has something for everyone.
We shared three very generous tapas starters - the best anchovies we have ever had.
The two girls shared the tomahawk lamb - superbly seasoned.
I had the rib eye steak which was excellent.
There were only a few tables occupied but the atmosphere was warm and friendly.
Desserts were extremely good as was my single espresso.
Please give them a try we were not disappointed.
Fab food, couldn’t fault a thing! Noisy but good atmosphere, attentive staff...great night! Definitely be back!
Very disappointing visit. After 15 minutes sitting at our table I managed to nab a very busy waitress to ask if we could order drinks. Cocktails ok but nothing special, one cocktail took over 15 minutes to arrive for my friend who arrived slightly later than the group so ordered separately. Steak was nice but again, not spectacular, one tapas dish failed to arrive. I ordered a calypso coffee which arrived cold. I asked for it to be heated up as I like my coffee really hot. It came back to me with the message 'he can't do that'. Our other coffees arrived nice and hot so I can only assume mine had been sat for a while. The noise in there is so loud that we ended up practically shouting at each other hence adding to the noise level! The decor is very nice and I think I would go again just for a drink at the bar, not for dinner.
Food was amazing! Portions for the Tapas was enough for us to share around, all had a little of everything.
Good food, drink and ambience which made for a delightful evening with friends.
We chose this restaurant for a girly night. The food was very good but the service was atrocious! It wasn’t busy when we arrived but after 25 minutes we had to try and attract someone’s attention just to order drinks. We had tapas and to be fair the dishes did arrive regularly however the waiter and waitresses were nowhere in sight thereafter and it seemed to take forever to order dessert then get it. Their excuse was that people had arrived that hadn’t booked! It was a Thursday a beautiful summers evening and they had a singer but they weren’t expecting customers??
Date night was great night!
Lovely meal and a nice atmosphere . Quality tapas and good cocktails
I’ve been to this restaurant before and the food and service were excellent, but it was very quiet then.
This was my second visit with my husband for our anniversary. The food was still great but the service was not as good as it was much busier. Had to wait a long while for my cocktail and my husbands main course came without side order and he’d nearly eaten his fish before it arrived.
Would go again but avoid a busy night.
Had a lovely evening at this restaurant, cocktails were fantastic and staff very attentive. A nice touch at the end was recognition of my wife’s birthday celebration with a complimentary liqueur (we were too full up to have desserts). Food reasonable price for the quality and very tasty. Will be back soon without doubt.
Always fun ,great music and fab atmosphere and great food
We had tapas here on Friday night and every dish was delicious 10/10! Great service and good value. Will definitely go back
Really lovely food, great wine and nice atmosphere. Everything we had tasted better than we thought it would given we were in Locksbottom! The lamb cutlets, iberico croquettes and crab salad were excellent.
All 3 steaks arrived cold and over cooked. They then took forever to be replaced and the rest of the party had finished their meals by the time they arrived. Mac and cheese was awful and chips were dry. Paella was average at best. Very disappointing. Wine list was great and waitress was lovely.
Lovely food and cocktails. Service poor in restaurant, tried for an hour to order dessert and coffee but we were completely ignored, so left without in the end. The food and drink were lovely though and I would definitely return. The restaurant could be lovely if they turned the lights down in the restaurant as was a bit bright which ruin the atmosphere a bit.
Really friendly staff and owners
Food is gorgeous
Cocktails amazing with a wide choice
Friendly attentive staff, excellent food, good cocktails and desserts to die for. Will definitely be visiting again.
I'm so torn by this restaurant, the food itself I really can't knock. We had the burratta, chicken wings and tempura monk fish to start, all of which were amazing and were only surpassed by the sea food Paella we had for a main. The waitress recommended just the 3 tapas to start if you're having Paella. I personally could have had another, but on the plus side it did mean I had room for desert, which again was delightful. I had the pancakes, and the girlfriend had the chocolate brownie. The brownie probably edged it.
The main thing that lets it down for me was just how loud it was in there, the food and service was all really good. But when you're struggling to hear the only other person on the table speak there is issues. This wasn't the restaurants fault, as the noise was just down to how loud the guests were, but it deducts from the whole experience.
I hope we were just unfortunate with the night we went, but I'm reluctant to go back in case my experience is the same. It's also not cheap, which I don't mind due to the quality of the food, but it's a lot pay coming away from with a feeling of disappointment.
Restaurant was very nicely decorated and the food was amazing. Other customers were a bit pretentious. Service started out fast but got slower and slower as the evening went on.
Food was good quality however the fish portions could have been a little bigger. Not really recommended for a quiet meal as it was pretty noisy.
Ambience was good though and would definitely go again maybe in a bigger group
Enjoyed an excellent surprise meal for my husband as a pre-valentine treat. The food and wine was exquisite along with the service and explanation of the fabulous meats on display. We definitely recommend it!
Great impressions when we first walked in,sat at the bar and had a drink, loved it.
Went to the seated area and ordered food.
We ordered some tapas dishes that were quite nice apart from the cheese board that came with what looked like biscuits from a selection box.
Even though the place was empty apart from another table of about 6 people the service came to a halt.
We had to pour our own wine and water.
The bill came to £170 for 2 people.
Wasn’t even offered a drink from the bar.
I presume that’s why the place is empty.
The evening started well and deteriorated rapidly, rip off.
Excellent service at Lupo Bianco on Christmas Eve; enjoyable food and fantastic wine. Will definitely return to try their steaks - a speciality and of very high standard.
Christmas lunch with my best friend:))
Busy evening service but good food and wine handpicked by staff !
Independent restaurant in an area over run with bland chain restaurants. Destination for a 'good night out'. Buzzy and fun atmosphere.
Food ok - tapas portions quite poor value. Dessert quality was very disappointing. Service was a bit inconsistent and at times slow.
However I would go back as there as had a nice evening.
Fantastic place and excellent food, better than Spain!
