Great food and atmosphere
I came here for my birthday and the starters (Mozzarella and tomatoes) took an hour to come .. then when we got our steaks about 40 minutes after they were cold and so were the sides. However we waited so long we didn’t care at this point as we were eating our dinner at 9 when we got there at 7:30. The staff seemed friendly except when we asked to take the service charge off at the end, I think it was pretty reasonable to ask that under the circumstances.
I would go here again as it’s fairly cheap and local but if the food is always guaranteed to be cold and take that long then I wouldn’t bother
Absolutely love Lupe Bianco! The lunchtime Tapas deal is great. The ambiance and decor is so on trend and the staff so very nice. Highly recommended.
Excellent steaks and comprehensive wine list. Good ambience.
Firstly the food was delicious, we were a table of 9 and each person ordered 2 dishes that we shared. The service was pretty awful, we waited almost half an hour for drinks and once we had paid the bill they tried to say we had underpaid when we had in fact over paid what was on the printed bill (which was correct). After some discussion they then said they would "let us off" the balance even though it was not anything we had ordered. It is a lively place but almost confused by what type of place they want it to be, the bar area was busy and there was a DJ which would be great if you weren't trying to have a catch up dinner with friends. Ladies openly taking illegal substances in the toilets was also off putting.
Very nice food, steak a little over done for medium rare. Service was good. Atmosphere was lively, and just what us five guys were after. We shall be going back again👍🏻
Nice food steak night is good value for money however drinks are very expensive and the service was a bit slow.
good service, side dish was semi warm and steak was very fatty, hard to cut and not much flavour. however have been before and was much better so must of been an off night
This is really a bar with food attached. The food is really good, but the decor is bright and the music loud. Really nice place for drinks and a night out. Not so good for a dinner for two.
Came here to celebrate a 40th birthday. Everyone loved it. It was our first time here. Every dish was superb. Will definitely be back.
Lovely food, but was very disappointed as it was my daughters 18th and I had given a cake with candles, that weren’t lit when they bought it out. I gave table confetti that wasn’t put out. I gave iced flower decorations to put on the cake, which weren’t put on. All these small touches make the Birthday celebrations memorable and I felt very disappointed as my daughter thought no effort had gone in to her special birthday ! Also there was no kids menu
We were disappointed. We dined on steak night where 2 sides were offered alongside the steak. There were 5 of us and 3 of us only received 1 side order. The sides missing were spinach and green beans, which I doubt were hard to prepare.
We had to ask the waitress several times where our food was and she never came back to us with an explanation. She became rude and abrupt when we questioned her and then asked us if we still wanted them when our food was finished. It was a joke really!
Thy redeemed themselves by only charging us for 4 meals instead of 5. It wasn't busy there so I am surprised that the staff were unconcerned.
Had a lovely time as always and the atmosphere always gives us the best night!
Great lunch set menu. Food was very good, portions were perfect size. Friendly and quick service.
Value for money.
Only two of us in the restaurant as was early afternoon just after lunch so a very quiet afternoon which was actually lovely.
Beautiful food, great service and could not find any fault
Very nice food and decor service was good and value for money is really good I would recommend highly to go to
We went for an impromptu dinner on a Thursday evening. We'd eaten here a couple of times before and had mixed feelings about returning but this visit we enjoyed all of the tapas dishes immensely. The staff are lovely, very attentive but not in your face. I think some dishes are a bit on the pricey side but the food we had was great so can't really complain too much.
We went there to celebrate our anniversary. The tapas was amazing, the best we’ve had!
The staff were so friendly and welcoming and did us a little anniversary surprise at the end of our meal which was so lovely of them!
The food was excellent however after our dessert we had requested the bill and 2 coffees, unfortunately the coffees never arrived and we had to ask for the bill a second time.
Amazing food, drink and music. Can’t wait to go again! High recommend
Food was ok, not amazing, not bad. For what it is though it’s extortionate. £320 for 4 with no mains only tapas.
Have been several times and it has never disappointed.
The service is exceptional, all so friendly and helpful.
This time had the tapas - every dish was freshly cooked (open kitchen) and arrived hot to table and very tasty.
There can be large group bookings which means it can get noisy but not the restaurants fault. Plus it isn’t the cheapest place to eat, expect to pay a little more.
However, great choice and taste of cocktails, food and exceptional service make this a great place to go.
Myself and three friends enjoyed the bottomless brunch which was very good value. Two dishes and an hour and a half of bottomless Prosecco. the portion sizes are very generous and everyone thought the food was delicious. Service was good and fast too. Only downside was that it was pretty quiet but it was 1pm on a Saturday afternoon so that was understandable. Lovely little restaurant, would definitely recommend and go back myself.
Bad service, expensive. Never again. Very loud and very poor quality
Great service and very fresh and tasty food from the bottomless brunch menu.
A lovely restaurant very authentic and yet different you won't be disappointed I don't like service charge already added but that does seem the norm these days
My friends and I went for the bottomless brunch. It was lovely and cool on a very hot day. The food was lovely, we had more than enough to drink and the service was friendly and attentive.
A lovely restaurant for a Father’s Day Sunday roast. Best roast I’ve had in years. Very accommodating to our 11month old son. Would highly recommend
I went for my birthday celebrations with friends and we had a lovely time.
Great food and drink. Great venue for a celebration.
We ordered steaks, people were given the wrong steak by the waitress.
The food for our table of 7 people took over 10 mins to come out from the kitchen, meaning some poeple had their sides and no steak and some people had their steak and no sides. Some sides arrived at the table after we had finished eating.
We asked 4 members of staff to help bring the food faster so we could eat our meals as one portion, not one of them apologised.
We then noted to the waitress that our food was not arriving and they were serving another table, we were told that those people were in a rush and therefore that appeared to her to be a legitimate reason for us to only have half of our meals.
We ordered a second round of drinks that never arrived.
We asked to speak to the manager and they gave us a bit of money off, but we would have preferred to pay full price and have our dinner served in one go .... it really appeared to their staff that was just too much to ask.
Very disappointing, we will not be going back!
Had lunch with a friend, fairly quiet. Food was amazing as was the service
Visited for my mums birthday. Food was lovely but service was poor and that really let this place down.
Starters all brought out at different times, mains were mixed up.
Incurred a hefty service charge at the end which was later refunded. Would have happily paid it if the service was good.
Despite the bad experience I would return as the staff and atmosphere were nice.
Such slow service, I had finished my starter and waited another 15 minutes by the time my partners starter had arrived and no apology for the lateness. Another 40 minutes wait for one paella dish to arrive. Completely ignored every time we tried to catch someones attention to ask for anything. Felt that larger groups were prioritised over tables for just 2. Had to wait another 20 mins for card machine to pay the bill at the end. Would return for drinks at the bar but not the restaurant.
I booked our table well in advance and we were seated right next to the kitchen, we did have the chance to move and have a drink at the bar but we had already been to the pub opposite for drinks so we were all very hungry and needed to eat so decided to stay put as it was an 8.30 booking. We were seated for over 20 minutes before anyone asked what drinks we required and from then on the service was very slow. We did get our 2 glasses of Prosecco and half the bottle of wine taken off the bill which was ok but felt we were rather neglected, it was a Saturday evening but felt we could have been served better
Went over Easter bank holiday weekend and the food is really good. The staff are lovely too. My only two gripes are that they were rammed but only had 2 waiting staff for the whole place so they were running around extremely stressed ( but they were brilliant considering) and to add insult to injury we found out that staff don’t get the majority of the “service charge”- it goes to the company which we think is extremely poor and would make us think twice about going again-I don’t agree with exploiting people. Other gripe was the restaurant bit didn’t go with the rest of the bar and was very ‘Wag’s bedroom’ with tacky zebra print seats everywhere. The bar decor was much nicer and had a better atmosphere- everyone wanted to be in that bit so think the restaurant should be done in that style. Food is brilliant though and found the croquets especially tasty
The food was excellent. The service was good but a little slow receiving the bill. Only two other people were there for only some of the time. So we had a beautiful restaurant all to ourselves
A very good Tapas Menu and excellent value. However, the service was somewhat slow
as one of our guests had to return to work and we had to wait for quite a long time despite having booked a table in advance.
I look forward to our next visit and to choosing our tapas dishes from the main menu.
The Ribs, Chicken and Paella from the lunch-time menu were excellent.
Excellent service, food was superb, fabulous table, a great afternoon had by all.
Like a set from TOWIE.
Service was awful - we spent half the night trying to order. Plates sat at our table long after we had finished.
Cocktails were decent however - more suited to being a bar than a restaurant.
