We asked tap water and charged us still water but finaly did not charge to the bill.
The meat plate has only the meat and nonthing else .Very poor plate...
I’ve been recently in this restaurant with my boyfriend for his birthday and everything was just perfect!
Poorly cooked steak
Characterless expense account overpriced and overrated steak house lacking on our visit the more modestly priced house steak and red wine, the latter surprising in an establishment that also boasts a sizable wine store. A great deception. Side of red cabbage partially raw with a sickly sauce. Farewell.
Great place to catch a quick business lunch. Service is slick and efficient, food delicious. It might just become my new favourite place.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere
10/10 highly recommend.
Fantastic food and second to none service. Made the substantial bill seem more than worth it. Thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. Delighted customer.
Dogs allowed-seriously?! Some mentally sick group with 5-6 dogs BD party ... fine dining restaurant and dog running around... well, avoid on Saturday as it’s disgusting...
Great staff, good bar area, poor dining room (hotel lobby). Drinks are 20% overpriced, food is 40% overpriced. The new NOVA building area will provide huge competition for this restaurant. It won't survive.
Really nice food , beer nice and cool , staff. Very friendly ..
Me and my partner had the highland wagyu ..
it was amazing ..
really nice food and great atmosphere ..
will visit again when in London ..
It's not cheap but worth spending a little more for a quality meal ..
Great place especially dinning area. Food good especially the main courses and steaks were great. Some of the more experimental stuff - Peanut butter snow was an acquired taste and a bit to sweet with the starter it accompanied. Staff very friendly but some slightly strange response sometimes. We book for 3 and 2 of us arrived before the 3rd and instead of being asked if we wanted to wait at the bar we were told to wait at what felt like a holding table without being asked if we wanted a drink, even though there was lots of room at the bar. Once we were dinning we had to ask for our glasses to be topped up with White wine which was in the cooler a few meters from the table and we were told there was not a bottle in the cooler and had to ask them to look again as we knew there was a bottle in the cooler. But in the main the service was good. On the down side, despite the food being reasonably priced, the wine although good was very expensive. This would make me think twice about dinning again at Ms.
I have eaten here on a number of occassions for business breakfasts and despite a great start when it first opened, it is after all a good credible restaurant in a part of London which has little to offer in the way business dining, it has just become routinely disappointing.
The avocado on toast, initially presented garnished with edible flowers and freshly chrushed and seasoned avocado has now become some kind of squeezed shop bought guacamole spread onto underdone toast and thrown on to a plate. This morning however, it was unusually busy. The service started off seating me in a different spot to my guest so we sat waiting for one another before receiving the text message "I'm here, where are you? " They then took fifteen minutes to ask for drinks another 10 minutes to take our order and after the order 45 minutes to deliver the food (two boiled eggs). This is no exaggeration. Okay, so they have all the mod cons and I'm sure that the evening wine list is remarkable but for their business breakfasts this restaurant has now, unfortunately become, terrible. Every time I leave I think, never again, only to end up heading back there because of the reason stated above (i.e. there is no where else around).
Sorry to write such a scathing review, I know it is unhelpful to many people including the hardworking Restauranter who owns M but seriously, what was a hopeful shining star in an area which was an oasis in the otherwise sparse desert of breakfast eateries around Victoria this place has become a really bad letdown.
Excellent customer service, amazing food, staff very friendly, ambience was on point. I will definitely come back again.
Great rapid lunch of the Hamilton menu. It's probably designed to be a pre theatre, but it turns out to be nice set lunch option as well.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and attentive service. I will be back!
We dined for a friends birthday, overall we were impressed with the quality of the food my filet steak with oyster mushrooms was delicious and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. They even gave us a treat for the birthday girl, the atmosphere and surroundings were lovely, the venue itself was stunning, however the food did take a long time to be served and the wine was a little pricey.
The restaurant is a hidden gem, tucked away under the wine store (on Victoria Street) , we were pleasantly surprised how amazing it was. The steak was cook to perfection, snickers dessert was life-changing and the service was first class. Can't wait to go again!
This is such a good offer - despite the 90 min limit on the prosecco, they are rarely tight on the clock! Worth doing every 3 months at least when the menu changes. Enjoyed the hen's egg and mushrooms, followed by a rump steak that was SO tasty. Looked a little bereft next to my friend's sea bream which was very fancy! I try to be a returner as there are so many places to go, but this is deffo on my repeat list.
Very attentive staff but not hassling. Food was excellent. Quite expensive but will go again on a special occasion.
Thoroughly e joyed my first visit but could have had more of a xmas atmosphere especially as it was the 2nd weekend in December . Food was excellent , the wine list extensive albeit a little expensive
Book this for my Directors on a regular bases- they always speak highly of the steak and wine options.
Very loud and reminded me of an 80’s yuppie place. I am sure others will love it just not for me
i have been here for brunch and it was good value + good atmosphere.
This time (on a regular Tuesday), there were very few people and the prices were quite punchy (i only say this as was more expensive than Hawksmoor or Goodmans) which in my opinion offer better atmosphere and quality (and as a result better value).
Our Waiter (whose name i dont recall) was excellent. Not afraid to give his opinion and demonstrated some personality.
Restaurant felt cold and unwelcoming. Service was poor, we were constantly kept waiting.
Had yellow don’t slip signs everywhere.
We had 2 mains, 2 cocktails and a desert and the bill came to £250.
Food was ok, nothing to shout about. My steak was not enjoyable. Sides were cold.
Good wine selection that’s about it.
Was filled with other diners on a set menu deal. Was very Loud. we had a wobbly table.
Just didn’t enjoy the experience, won’t be returning
Top notch food and extremely pleasant and attentive staff. Great little find in a convenient location - steak was perfect. Will definitely return *
Great service - not sure of his name but he was Bulgarian.
The fish course was small (but tasty) and the meat was very good.
The snickers dessert was great and rich. We were recommended one between two - good decision.
A fabulous evening at a wonderful restuarant which enabled us to enjoy wonderful food, wine and a high quality experience of service you hope for on a treat for a special occasion. we look forward to returning soon and will be letting others know how good his was. Big thanks to Martin and his team.
Expensive, no atmosphere, and food was mediocre. Service was also haphazard. No wonder the restaurant was empty.
The service was excellent and the food was fabulous
Amazing steaks and cocktails, but ambience was not exciting, and furnishings came across as slightly ‘tatty’ until lighting was dimmed. After paying over GBP150 a head, neither nor my wife felt wowed, despite very professional maitre d. Would I go back, probably not. But worth at least one visit...
Good steak, good service, a very pleasant dinner.
I came for a business meeting on Saturday ( I know that's unusual) service was slick and prompt.
It was quite buzzy from all the prosecco drinkers, but it wasn't bad enough not to hold comfortable conversation. We ordered special, T-Bone dry aged on site in a fridge just in front of us. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Forget Goodman, go to M Victoria!
Unfortunately our experience wasn't great because of how loud the environment was. It felt we were in a night club all the time. Couldn't hear the waiter or between us. Our waiter was kind and helpful and food was very good, a bit overpriced. But again it's a real shame.
Very lovely people! I even got a gift as it was my birthday which made the service that much more personal! And the food ...ohhhh my the food... say no more
Without a doubt the best steakhouse in London. Great selection of cuts from all over the world.
Attentive, but not overwhelming service. Well done M!
Celebrated our daughters 21st birthday here and couldn’t have asked for a better venue, service and food was stunning!
Wonderful on the eye, enchanting on the nose, first taste made me weak at the knees and maintained bubbles throughout (and the champagne wasn’t bad either)
I can’t rave enough about this place. We were looked after all night by the head waiter and head bar tender. They made sure we had the right drinks and food for our tastes. The French striploin steak was beautiful and sides were also very tasty. The ambiance and service was very impressive. We’ll be back again soon, this was our second visit in a month.
Poor service, steak not cooked as requested and I had to chase for my desert. To be fair the desert was given to me for free but it was too late by the time it arrived. Not a patch on Goodman....
Booked M for a birthday celebration. Unfortunately there were plumbing issues in that there was no water and the grill was closed so consequently we were squashed in downstairs. The party next to us were loud and spilling onto our space when we arrived and it was very warm. The food was good but no flushing toilets and not the venue that we had booked! There was no proper apology and to rub salt into the wound after asking for tap water we found on the bill the next day over £10 worth of bottled water! Understand that these things happen but a recompense or apology would have helped not an additional cost on our bill.
